  Did you backup managed user or RMAN backup. In RMAN backup, you only need logs archived. But in the cold backup managed user, you don't need the redolog also if the PB was properly arrested. Jut copy the DBF and controlfile and put it there to the target server and during the recovery of redolog files will be created automatically.

  Hello, in my system (oracle 9), we take, we take backups hot quite frequently.
  We also take cold weekly backups.
  Today, our system requires more running time, and so there was a discussion if we stop taking cold or no backups.

  As long as you continue to take hot backups and keep your logs archive saved should be no reason why you should continue taking cold backups.

  There are databases that I supported who have never had a cold backup.

  Advanced actions are triggered by events.  You have a limited number of events available, including on click (of a button or clickbox), success, on the last attempt, on slide enter, leaving drag, etc.  But there is no default event that you can use in the middle of the timeline on a slide.  Should the user to take action.

  Now, when I click on the link in section 1 (slide 1) then click the button back (slide 2) the Image1 does not appear, then is the same for slides 3 and 4.

  A little difficult, have several posts on similar configurations, but do not understand your explanation. You don't specify what events trigger actions at all. Why not use the Back buttons to change the value of variables? And the event that triggers the conditional action? I suspect that this is the event to enter the slide Menu?

  (2) on the 3 blades that make up chapter 1, I have an exit Action on where v_chap1 is incremented by 1.

  (3) on the Table of content slide, I have a hidden check box (named: check mark).

  (4) the box is controlled by a conditional action where if v_chap1 = 3, then show the check mark.

  Of course, it did not work.  I place the variable in a text on the blade of my OCD caption, to see if he could increase and it is not, it remains at 0.  So basically I'm stuck at step 2.
