  Well, the conditional formatting can be done in PivotTables until the next version, 11g. In the meantime, you two options:

  (3) you can use your custom column filter functionality to get your ' sales in year 20xx "and a presentation to make this dynamic variable. So you can declare an array and use the method I described above.

• Conditional formatting depends on the date ranges

  Basically, I want to be able to enter a date in column A and a sum of money in the B column, depending on where the date in column A grave in a date range, I want the money in column B to copy to a corresponding column. Is this possible? The only questions I found on here deal in a conditional formatting with dates have to do with derivative.

  It is not bringing conditional formatting.  Formatting conditional would change the format of a cell (or cells)... as the font, color, size, color cell background, or other formatting character is tics of a cell based on the contents of the cell

• Conditional formatting based on another column

  I created a conditional format in several columns, all based in a column: "Format Type". In a table view, the conditional formatting works very well for the metrics. For a text column, the conditional formatting only works if the column 'Type of formatting' appears on his left.
  Is this right? I don't remember having a similar problem with 10 OBIEE.

  I guess that you are 4.2 Apex as you haven't shared the same.

  • Create a dynamic Action on change of box which should present the value of the checkbox and update the TextArea element.
  • Then continue as conditional Textarea with checkbox value.

• Conditional display based on the value of line

  I have a report table with several lines on it.  I need to post a link to another page of user action if a value in the line corresponds to an attribute of the user's role, so they can act on the item.  Other display or update the document would not be able to run the link.

  The logic of nickname would go something like this:

  If user_role = role_this_line_item then

  display approval_link

  on the other

  Hide approval_link

  end if

  I know how to write pl/sql to return to the display of the correct state of true/false, but I can't find out how to reference the value on the display line.  I tried: role_this_line_item, role_this_line_item, #role_this_line_item # and none of them return one value other than false.  How to refer to an attribute on the current line of the decision to hide/show correct?

  If you want the value of the ID to display for each row returned by the report, but only rendered as a link, if the condition is true? The values used in the State come "role_this_line_item" seems to be a value of a column in the report. "User_role" is also a column value?

  The simplest option is to modify the column attribute display as for the Standard report columnID column and conditionally generate the link in the report query:

  Just received help here to write a conditional script by using the font size of a text layer. Thank you all for this.

  The next hurdle is a conditional script using the number of lines in a text layer in the differential. Far as I can tell it not the layer details which specify the number of lines. Just '\r' for a return in the idTxt descriptor. Nothing seems to stand for a soft return as far as I can tell. I'll probably have to be able to count the lines with soft and hard returns.

  Any thoughts?

  I was playing around with this a bit and here is a small script to determine the number of rows. This is based on the self in the head, that I calculated to environ.108 times the size of the font.

  What exactly are you trying to achieve? you try to format a NUMBER type item in the currency of the system? If so the bottom of piece of code should work fine, just put in your controller processRequest() method:

  Hi Marsha,

  If you want the formatting to be "locked in", which is led by ESD, then advice from Lynne is the way to go. If instead, there would be enough temporarily color the items you want as a substitute format, you can use the AXCM plugin:

  http://www.weststreetconsulting.com/WSC_AXCM.htm

  This plugin can do any character coloring, bar, etc., based on attribute values and other markup. Colouring is applied as an alternative format and removed easily by a refresh of the ESD. The characteristics of color were mainly intended for purposes of conditional text, but it would work in this case too.

  AXCM is totally free. Warning... I am owner of West Street Consulting and this plugin.

  I have a quiz at the end of my captivate file and I try to get to show different based on images if you have passed the quiz, or if you failed. For example if you pass, I want to show an image of the tick, and if you do not have an image of the cross, on the results slide.

  I tried to create this by implementing a conditional action. I put the two images on the slide and they hid. Then I have a conditional action value:

  Each action must be triggered by 'something', which is an event. You must attach to an event, I suspect that the event on enter score slide is one that suits. Select the slide of score, look in the properties panel, tab Actions, perform actions on enter, choose the action.

  In addition, there is a difference between the system variable cpQuizInfoPointsscored and cpInfoPercentage. Personally, I would use the simpler cpQuizInfoPassFail:

  I have a file of XML "data" and an associated error file which is also XML. I want to take the data XML file and highlight visually in an html file only tag fields and content that are there in the file 'error.
  
  
  There are many fields in the data file, so the error could be just about anywhere. Can someone please tell me what I should read or give me advice on how should I proceed?
  
  I built a style sheet for the file "data" - but of course it's static. I need 2 style sheets and apply both somehow? I also thought that I use the "error" xml doc and simply rewrite the nodes of the error in the "data" file and then use the stylesheet to annotate the data file based on what I'm rewriting.

I have 2 reports interactive report A and B report and a button named Switch.  What I want to do is, when I run the page I want to show the report and when I click on the button I want to display ONLY report B. What I did was, for the report one I made it not conditional so it appears when I run the page. Also, I added a request for switch as 1 and I have added condition for B as report
