• ATG sticky session with Apache web server

  Hi all. I use webservices module ATG remains on my local system. I send applications via the web browser that goes through Apache and typing the ATG application server. The problem is that, while on our test environments, several subsequent applications maintain the same session on my local system, each application comes with a new session id. This causes problems to test things locally that need to have a sticky session. I use poster (firefox plugin) and after the first request, I capture the cookie (esessionId in the response) and add this header cookie in subsequent applications, but the answers still have a different esessionId cookie value.
  
  Can someone explain how the session (with the help of cookies) tracking work between Apache and ATG? I know that there is a way to allow Apache to know what cookie to take to activate the sticky session but I do not know how to configure it.

  If you add the url session ID and always get different sessions, it means in your application server accepts session cookies from.
  SessionId in url is limited.

  When you configure apache with the plugin application server, he built in sticky session feature enabled.
  I guess the question could be the cookie in the request is not sessionid or each request is get presented as new request by the plug-in.

• How to join a web server with a GPRS connection?

  We have developed a cRio Datalogger and we control in a control panel with the cRio connected to our LAN.

  Now, we want to make the connection even the cRio with a Modem - Router Multitech GPRS (a Multimodem with DynDns capabilities). The problem is that our GPRS service provider gives a private IP, so we cannot access the cRio from the internet.

  We did a test with a sample that comes with Labview, a TCP connection multiclient, we run the vi client in a PC connected to the internet with GPRS Modem and server in another PC in our local network. The perfect example is run. In the vi client we have added a few indicators to indicate the network address a remote port, but we cannot open a table of customer order vi from the computer running the vi server, using the collected information. The network address, it is not an IP number is a name and to our surprise, the remote port number is different than the port used by the example.

  Conclusion, we can make a TCP/IP connection if the communication is started by the device with GPRS Modem, but we cannot do the opposite. The problem is the same to have a web server running on a PC in a LAN and want to access it from the internet without having access to the router configuration.

  And because the remote connection of façade is started by the PC who want to open us cannot operate.

  Any idea is possible, we want to do this?

  We solved the problem by using a SIM with mobile broadband enabled. With this service, the cell phone company has an IP address public (here in Argentina).

  But the question, when try to configure HFM and FDM EMP Configurator crashes, in HFM Web server configuration and application Web of FDM configure FDM.

  I installed IIS, Oracle 32-bit and 64-bit, the Clients, and also configured DCOM.

  Not quite sure that what is happening with just by looking at these errors.  I went to the URL you show in the screenshot, and it seems you have things working fine now.

  The WorkBetter application is a fairly complex application to try to draw lessons.  I recommend to read a part of Geertjan Wielenga blog posts on how start and watch some YouTube videos. It may be easier to get an understanding of how things are setup and then return to the application of WorkBetter to see all of these concepts implemented.

  The hands-on lab on the examples of the JET site page is also a good starting point.

I also had to change the structure of the file xml... .to make it easier. After yo day location of preview... .simply do a preview to see the result.

  And I have another area where I have two managed servers in a cluster that is deployed with the company.
  
  Now, I want to configure Apache HTTP server to make it work as a proxy with the weblogic.
  
  In my current scenario, the proxies of one seed server req in the cluster and that is defined in a jndi.properties.
  
  Now, what should I do if I want to use the Apache
  
  I have the following questions:
  
  1 forget my env, generally how to install and configure Apache HTTP plugin?
  I see that we have already seen libproxy_61.so file in /bea/wlserver_10.3/server/plugin/linux/i686
  
  Do I need to install the patch even then as said in http://www.oracle.com/technology/deploy/security/wls-security/2793.html?
  
  2. While am adding the lines in the httpd.conf file.

  1 so all external requests go to the single domain server with MoreWeb app. In this scenario, you don't need any additional Proxy Apache server. Because the basic concept of the Apache Web server is to route multiple applications on a cluster of managed servers. In your case, it is a single server, you don't need any additional Web front server. Now you have these EJB on another area that is clustered. I guess you use search standard JNDI to access the EJB. So, how do you make sure that only MoreWeb app requests are load balanced to the EJB. As each subsidiary request for EJB must go to MS1 and MS2 as robin in default mode. First request to MoreWeb need access EJB of MS1. Second request for MoreWeb need access EJB MS2 etc. This means in theory, you should have an Apache Web Server before the second area something like that. You have any servlet default weblogic cluster already deployed to the second area. Otherwise use that or care of apache in etc. Then in MoreWeb App when you search the EJB, make sure that you give the address Cluster and the direct port instead of the host/port MS1 or MS2. This Web server should in turn make the round robin for EJB on second domain clustered. When you get the InitialContext object instead of using empty default constructor as new InitalContext(), you may need to use something like InitalContext (aMap) new aMap corresponding to a hash table with the properties for the provider url, etc. etc. You can see the docs for more details.
