Hi, this is probably because something on your system has crushed all providers default search in firefox. to recover it please download and reinstall firefox to https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/all/ on top of your existing version.
Since it is a behavior often caused by adware on a system, please also run a scan complete of your different system with security tools like the free version of malwarebytes and adwcleaner.

It seems that if you have enabled accessibility or ease of Access Options in Windows (perhaps keys filters). Without knowing which version of Windows you have, I can't point you to specific instructions, but here are some useful pages:

I downloaded ZoneAlarm firewall. There you install Chrome and choose its search engine when you download. I had heard that it was removed easily later. I have reset Google in the search bar upper at right.
Now Firefox starts OK, but every time I will use a tab to open another search ZoneAlarm window is in the address bar and in the area of research of the Center, and Google search is in the top right search bar. How can I get rid of all ZoneAlarm search everywhere?I have the latest version of Firefox and Windows 8.1.
You can check if you have the search engine of ZoneAlarm file in the browser\searchplugins folder in the Firefox program or in the searchplugins folder in the Firefox profile folder.
You can use this button to go to the Firefox profile folder currently in use:
- Help > troubleshooting information > profile directory: see file (Linux: open the directory;) Mac: View in the Finder)
You can delete the search.json file and the possible search - metadata.json and the search.sqlite files in the profile folder of Firefox to reset the default search engines.
Firefox will rebuild the file search.json from the default search engines in the "browser\searchplugins" folder in the program of Firefox and the searchplugins folder in the Firefox profile folder.

How can I change the order of the sites when you type in the address bar?
I used to type 'go' in the address bar if I want to go to google, so it automatically ends and I just click ENTER after 'go', but lately, one other site took place so when I click on enter I come to the wrong site. I didn't want this site more than google. How can I decide that there will be automatic? It's really annoying!
If AutoFill (browser.urlbar.autoFill = true) is enabled, then you can not get a drop-down list, but Firefox will AutoComplete entry automatically.

Safari now closes when you click on the address bar
Hey all, recently I went to a Web site with a pop - up I accidentally clicked while trying to scroll down around him. After clicking on the pop-up a new tab tried opening that I immediately closed, as well as the 1st original tab open. I have then double click the home button on the iPhone and crept up to close the application currently open safari. But then when I restarted safari, whenever I click on the URL address bar to type something, it immediately closes on my safari. Now, I'm not completely clueless when it comes to try to empty the pop ups, I have delt with the "FBI warning all ' on my and several other phones... so I tried the history of obvious and this compensation that not, but still my safari stops if I touch the address at the top of the page bar.
So far I have tried:
- Double-click on the House, by sweeping up app close
- "Restart iPhone' holding the home button and top 10 seconds
- ' 'Parameters '; Safari. " 'Clear the history data and the Web site '.
- DIssbling JavaScript in 'advanced configuration' for safari
- Entered into airplane mode / click on the address bar - still farm safari down
- Loading of several empty tabs and clicking on their URL
And just to be more specific, if I copy and paste a link I am able to visit a Web site... but again if I go to a website and immediately click on the address bar it will close and restart safari.
OR if I load up Safari in 'Private' I'm finally able to click on the address bar and type websites like Google.com and it works perfectly fine, but if I get out of private and try to type in Google.com, it closes...
Any ideas?
Hey! Disable Safari suggestions in Settings - Safari - Safari Suggestions.
Additional information:
Go to settings - Safari - clear the history and data from the Web site.
If that doesn't work, reset your device. This will not erase your data stored on the phone.
- Press and hold the sleep/wake button
- Press and hold the Home button
- Press and hold both buttons until the display turns off and on again with the Apple logo on the subject.
Alternatively, you can go to settings - general - reset - Reset all settings

I noticed recently that, sometimes, when I chose an entry in the drop-down list after I started typing in the address bar, I would get a different page than I wanted to. It turned out that I was actually clicking the bookmarks toolbar button that has been hidden under the list entry, I thought I was clicking.
Hi, thanks, but disabling hardware acceleration does not fix it. However, I just swapped my mouse, and seems not to happen anymore!

If you see Firefox full screen can you get a toolbar preferred to appear with the address bar?
When you put Firefox in full screen all toolbars disappear. When you hover over the top of the screen in the address bar and appear bar "open tabs. Is it possible to get the toolbar Favorites to appear as well?
If not, is there another way to access the Favorites without having to close Firefox?
You can do this in two ways. Full screen, press CTRL + I to display the bookmarks in the sidebar (repeat to disable).
- or-
in the top address bar, type Subject: config and press ENTER.
In the filter at the top, and paste the following: browser.fullscreen.autohide
Double click it to change from True to False, and then close the tab.
Full screen, tabs and toolbars subsequently remains visible.

Until typing today on behalf of the part of a site or a page that is shown a list of suggestions from my previous navigation. However, since installed 43, the first option is now either visit: xxxx, which is always a site, never a page, or when the string does not have a page it goes to the research: what I just typed.
I would like to disable this, but I am struggling to find the solution for it.
Can someone point me in the right direction please?
You can set browser.urlbar.unifiedcomplete to false to remove the suggestion of visit page from the drop-down list.
You can open the topic: config page via the address bar.
You can accept the warning and click on "I'll be careful" to continue.
