• Yosemite user model does not

  I have 20 macs in a University laboratory image in the same way, with a user model that I created.  Worked fine for several months.  Lately, the chances that my user model does not load correctly is 50-50.  This takes the form of:

  • the loading dock is generic and does not include my shortlisted apps
  • wallpaper is the default 'Yosemite' image and not the wallpaper that I created
  • or, the mounted drives are not displayed on the desktop.

  

  Pictured above, the bottom image is what I call a wrong profile.  It is in this profile, you can see that the dock, HDD and wallpaper are not loaded; However, things like the Finder and Safari open to the correct location, based on a template.

  I can log in and out of the same machine all day and arrive at a 30 to 50% chance of the model charge properly.  However, I need this number to 99.9%

  Our laboratory is partially controlled by JAMF/Casper to load scripts at startup.   These logon scripts in the form of:

  • load the customer print PHAROS
  • load a "alert of emergency of the University" application in the dock
  • If the user has a folder on our server, xsan, Casper Mont scripts this folder on the desktop (this feature works on our Mavericks stations, but is broken in Yosemite).

  What process occurs when a user connects and the model is pulled?  Is it possible that Casper connect you scripts could be in conflict with the creation of models of the user?

  Solution: The question is a folder called Non_localized, reflect the English.lproj content with this file in template/User.

  I found the problem. I opened 'File' then saw 'save as template' grayed. Having not worked with models, I didn't know this isn't how it's done.

  What I should have done was file > save as > then clicked the drop-down 'Save as template' menu option. It was a simple mistake. Thanks to you all.

• Unable to connect to MKS: virtual machine configuration file does not exist

  Need a little help I'm running the following

  vCenter Server 4.0.0 (build 208111)

  ESX Server 4.0.0 (build 208167)

  I have a computer virtual running WIndows 2000 Advanced and when I try and open the console I get a black screen and the error message following

  "" Unable to connect to MKS: virtual machine configuration file does not exist '. "

  I scoured the data store and all the files of the virtual machine appear to be in place, I thought deletin the virtual machine from the inventory and add the vmdk file, it would be a good idea?

  Remove and add new inventory won't hurt (you could lose data historial for virtual machine), it probably won't solve the problem.

  I doubt, it is a problem with the .vmx file, but you can try:

  -Remove the VM of the inventory

  -To create the new virtual machine (with the same characteristics as the virtual machine that you removed), name it differently and do not add hard drives that it

  -Change the new VM settings and add the existing VMDK virtual machine that you deleted

  -Power on VM and try

  • You should always have your complete file to the virtual machine original intact, in case you need, you will always have your original vmx file to add it to the inventory.

  By doing these steps you re-create the vmx file.

• Parts of model does not allow most of the changes

  Hi all

  I have a strange situation where I have a template, which seems to be configured correctly, but does not display styles (IE - displays the page as if there is no style) and not whether me stick to the content in the editable regions, or apply styles, insert images, etc. - He simply refuses.

  When I do it in the code - amount of the fine, in the design pane - basically just typing hand is allowed.

  Other pages (not based on templates) and other models - are very good.

  No idea what it could be?

• First HP - mathematical model does not

  I have a HP graphing calculator first - so far, he hates 100%...currently, have still another problem with the * beep * thing.

  I'm learning to use it and use the key from the mathematical model... manual says hitting the C button... that shows a choice of different models... well.  I choose the photo that resembles a nth root function...

  The said user manual it will show a symbol @# $@ #% $, but it's not, it shows "NTHROOT" words on the line instead.

  So, how in the heck do I the calculator works properly? It is only the first attempt to do anything on this subject... can't do a squat until now. No understanding of why is it pretty darn difficult to do basic stuff.

  Yes, I know that I can also ysé shift - y ^ X button but that does not solve the problem.

  Thanks in advance for any advice, or should I just throw it out and try a better calculator?

  You see NTHROOT because you have disabled manual entry.

  Press SHIFT home (Settings) and select entry: manual.

  You can also specify if history shows the radical or NTHROOT by turning / disable (respectively) the "Textbook Display" mode, which is on page 2 of the home page of settings.

• I don't have a navigation bar and firefox does not open in safe mode to return to the default configuration. Does not work reinstall. Any help please.

  I have no navigation bar since I closed it to have more space on the screen. It will not re - open. Firefox does not open in safe mode, but immediately opens in normal mode with the new configuration incorrect, so I can't reset to default configuration. I deleted Firefox and re-installed and it always opens with the same faulty configuration. Why doesn't Firefox give me the safe mode dialog box, why can I not re - open the navigation bar, and how I can do those two things, please? Firefox is currently unusable for me without a navigation bar with no access to the default settings in safe mode. I can't search the extensions that I use since I have no navigation bar to go to tools, modules, Extensions.

  Press the Alt key to display the Menu bar, then open view > toolbars and select menu bar and the bar of Navigation, so that they have a check mark.

• HP configuration wizard does not detect my wireless network.

  I have a HP Photosmart C4580 multifunction device for a few years, works as a printer/scanner wireless for the household. In the House, we have an iMac, a Macbook Air and two computers HP laptop.

  Last weekend I bought a MacBook Pro in lieu of the iMac and a router Airport Extreme Base Station to replace my ISP provided. Since then, I can't have the printer hooked up again.

  All the wireless devices in the House for example iPad, iPhones etc connect the new router without problem so I'm glad that the wireless signal is OK.

  I downloaded the latest HP Setup application and it ran with the printer connected by USB to install on the MacBook. However, even if the USB device is detected when I try to configure it to the wireless, the installation software does not detect my wireless network.

  I tried the following: -.

  -Rebooted router

  -Reset default printer is turned off, unplug the unit and unplugged the cable, left for 30 seconds then reconnected again.

  -Created a new comments system.

  -The router is configured to run g and n network.

  -The network names have any unusual characters.

  -Tried to enter the name manually.

  USB printing is fine.

  Is there something about the installation wizard that can not locate networks?

  OK, on the front of the printer, go to wireless menu and restore the default settings.

  When you start the HP software to connect the wireless printer, make sure that the USB cable is NOT connected to the printer.  Only connect when the software tells you to do.

  Be careful with the comments network, if your computer or printer connect you will not be able to print.

  Well, autoREST rocks just so as to define the modules using templates {URI} developer view REST in SQLDeveloper. However, model routing does not work even with simple routes like Hello /: name or Hello /: name?. Indeed, the first case we generate a null 500 Server error while trying to download the module and the model must be removed manually from ORDS_TEMPLATES, otherwise the entire module becomes useless and view developer REST refuses to connect to the schema.   Try other examples like that of http://blog.cdivilly.com/2015/03/12/ords-3.0.0-rest-plsql-api/ made me understand where is the problem: with a simple "/" as the uri (or a vacuum in order to keep the shorter paths) for the module causes all the issues I have outlined above. Using another model as /api/ seems to work fairly well...

• Model does not.

  An ambiguous title, I know, but that's my problem.

  I created a template. Its in the layout, I want to be in. It has a SpryMenBarVertical.css file and a SpryMenBar.js.

  When I create a 'new model Page' I'm able to edit the body of the page I want.

  However, when I go to save this new model page, I get the following errors:

  SpryMenBarVertical.css

  SpryMenBar.js

  "Copy files to: C, etc, etc, etc.

  I don't know what that means or location, so I just click 'copy '.

  Then I get two of the following:

  "This change should change the code which is locked by a model or a translator. The changes will be rejected. ' [OK] is the only option.

  What I'm doing wrong here?

  What procedure do you use to create child pages?  Looks like you're not doing things.

  FYI: Spry has been abandoned in 2012.  Removed Adobe of PCOC in 2013.

  So, what version of DW do you use?

  Personally, I ditch Spry stuff and replace it with something better.  Spry does not work well with modern devices.

  It does not sync DB to the model or model DB:

  1 FK in model has the DEFERRABLE INITIALLY DEFERREED = YES but ACTIVE and YES = value

  2. in the base of the FK is NOVALIDATE DISABLED

  Sync shows no difference at all.

  Never mind! It's the same problem I had before. David said it was a known problem.

• Tilde key used to turn the model does not work

  I recently got a new mac with cc Adobe installed.

  In general when I want to turn a boss, I simply press the tilde key and manipulate the model, but on this new computer, it does not work. Instead, the entire shape moves, and I'm unable to move the model. Y at - it a setting or something that might have to be adjusted?

  It drives me crazy that I can't understand it.

• Install Esxi 4.1 Dell configuration manager does not find esxi

  When the dell Configurator requires the CD of Esxi, I put downloaded 4.1 Esxi installable cd and it does not recognize.

  Any idea?

  I guess the only thing that can fail is the installation of all the necessary modules.  This, however, can normally be solved after installation.

• The model does not resemble the original page.

  When I create a model, the model ends up looking like a very generic of the original version until I have save as an html file.  Images disappear and the menu bar is missing, but the words that make up the menu bar are stretched across the page.  The boxes, I've built for the content area also disappears so I can't make an editble region.  I know that this is not just because I just watched a video of a guy at adobe and when he creates a model the youtube model looks exactly the same as the page: :// http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V5_-kaDZr6whttp.  Anyone has an idea why this happens?

  File > new model Page.   Choose a template in your current site.

  SaveAs new file nom.html

  I think that what you do is save your template as a new file that does not work because the paths external CSS, scripts, and images are broken.

• Favicons in model does not

  I've created a favicon for this site that I am building. The favicon works on the index.html page, which is in fact a splash screen, and if you view the source code you can see on line 20. But this page is not a page template. Most of the other pages on this site use the same model. The pages that use the template, the favicon line does not appear in the code. But I assure you that this is the model code mode. I tried to cut the model code; record and update all pages of model; Paste the line of code in the page; backup and update again. But that does not work.

  The path to the folder models that happened today when I tried to change the channel but was not paying close enough attention. I tried it so many ways to solve this problem, but using an absolute path and it out of the editable area seem to have done the trick. Guess I'm not used to using the models quite yet. I'm sorta new DW. Thanks to you and Alan to be there.
