• BlackBerry Smartphones BB App World 1.0.35 missing icon

  I upgraded to BB App World to 1.0.35 my BB 9630 Tour of US Cellular v5.0.0484 running. I looked in the download folder, the apps folder and any other folder icon I have on my phone just for the family doctor who is important, but can not find the BB App World icon. Under Apps, it says it is installed. I deleted and reinstalled several times and did a battery pull VS a restart more than 10 times. The only thing I have not done is format the phone.

I found that there are very few applications that is exclusive to AppWorld. You can see the online catalogue and then look for other sources of supply, including quite often on the developer website.

  We have an app (company) multi-folio which is designed for the iPad and iPhone. The iPad version seems to work fine, but in the version of the iPhone, the gear icon does not work. I couldn't see anything in the App generator that would deny to work.

  I find no reference to the "905" in the KBs public... You may search with more parameters to find something useful:

  Please try a hard reset: turn on, remove the back cover and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning.   Your BB OS is outdated... you need to update... the current version is 5.0.0.1036. Here's what I recommend... Since you are on MAC, which makes it a bit more difficult that the sets of tools to deal with things are much more limited on MAC:
