They will be different...

Directory keeps your roles, participating details and their properties

While the engine maintains the request instance data.

so - it's OK, that both are required and different!

you move in the right direction :)

  • Enterprise BPM - can see the deployment

    Hi all

I'm new to BPM and I am deploying bpm company and I hope that someone could help me

I have installed and configured all the necessary elements (weblogic server, enterprise bpm, bpm studio) and I configured and I created a directory of bpm service, bpm field, etc. (using the Setup Wizard)

I'm trying to deploy a sample proyect. I followed the guid of the admin and I deployed using process administrator-> projects, deploy etc (I used the smart option publish)

How can I access my deployed application?

I've accessed the application workspace (while I have administrator privileges and I can see all deployments using the admin account) and I don't see my deploy :(
Am I missing or something wrong?

Thanks in advance to all :)

    Hello

In the web-based Administration tool, add a participant 'test '. Assign this participant all roles within your process.

Connect to the workspace by using the new participant. If it does not try to start and stop the engine of the process Administration tool.

    Hope this helps,

  • Enterprise BPM - Ant not recognized

    Hi all

I am new to using Ant and I try to use within the company of BPM.

I followed an example ant tasks during the installation of Enterprise bpm. It is located in the following directory \OraBPMwlHome\samples\interop\AntTasks.

The first step is to define an environment variable called ANT_ARGS = - lib c:\OraBPMEnterpriseHome\lib;c:\OraBPMEnterpriseHome\ext

then I must be able (after modification of some files to point to my batabase, etc.) to run the application of the Ant.

But I have "the Ant is not recognized as internal or external command.

I know it's related to environmental variables, but I don't know what to set which directory.

Is it necessary to install ant? Because I think that the Ant is installed during the installation of enterprise bpm, but I can't run. Is there anything else I need to do?

I also followed the Oracle BPM 10.3 Ant libraries - reference documents, but he talks about the environment variable called ANT_ARGS-lib = c:\OraBPMEnterpriseHome\lib;c:\OraBPMEnterpriseHome\ext (nothing new)

Any help will be really appreciated guys, I hope you can help me

All of these things you mention is possible with ant scripts.

  • How to activate the PAPI-WS in Oracle Enterprise BPM v 10.3?

    Hi all

I use Oracle BPM admin Version 10.3 and don't get a checkbox 'PAPI Web Service' inside the "BPM Web Application" tab. Please help me find how to activate the PAPI-WS...

    Thank you and best regards,
    Ankur Oswal

If you use Oracle BPM autonomous, start the BPM Admin Center-> click 'Configuration'-> 'BPM Web Applications' tab-> click on the check box 'PAPI Web Services '.

If you use Oracle BPM for WLS, you don't have to do anything, and the box is not in the 'BPM Web Applications' tab.

  • «Configuration manager Enterprise failed due to the ff...» 11 g/windows 7

I get this error message when you use DBCA to create a database. Help, please! Study on mine for OCA.

Error message: "the business manager configuration failed due to the following error: listener has not elapsed or database service is not registered with it.» Start the listener and register the service of database and rerun the wizard of Configuration EM. »

    I did the following:
    (1) earphone Checked properties service and that the path to the executable file was

    DriveLetter:\app\product\11.1.0\db_2\bin\oracle.exeoca11g

I have change the path above for what is indicated below:

    DriveLetter:\app\product\11.1.0\db_2\bin\tnslsnr

    I've updated: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\OracleOCA11gTNSListener
image file to reflect the change.

I received the suggestion above of a blog. Not sure if it's good or bad, but it seems logical. However, it did not solve my problem

    (2) I executed the script of the emca in db_home/bin as suggests the warning message in the DBCA Wizard. Restart my PC. Still no luck.

    (3) I have open DBCA to verify the database (via del) is created, and yes it is.
I open 'EM and tried to log into the tool as the user Sys/sysdba. I have the username and/or password are invalid error message. URL: https (strike-through) localhost://158/em/console/logon/logon
I can connect to SQl more as another user sys/sysdba but in EM.

The command that you use is

    >
    $ cp /media/sf_TEMP/*.zip/home/oracle/media
    >

As noted above, if you have any experience with Unix, it is a steep learning curve

    Hello

If you want to create or configure Enterprise Manager console, follow these steps:

    • Set ORACLE_HOME environment variable
    • Set ORACLE_SID
    • ORACLE_HOSTNAME environment variable set. Use the same value returned by the command "hostname".
    • Run the emca (Enterprise Manager Configuration Assistant).

    $ emca - create config dbcontrol db-rest

    • Follow the instructions.

The configuration in weblogic configuration error.

    Really need help here...

    Thank you

    Kind regards
    Eric Wijaya

    Hi Eric,.

Just checked: you use BPM 10.3.2?

Do you mean the Configuration of directory BPM?

Yes, I want to talk about the configuration of the directory and the configuration of the engine too.

I configure the directory BPM to use BPM Oracle Driver Version: 10-11, which is selected by default by the BPM Setup Wizard, but still have the error of the jdbc driver.

If you use 10.3.2, you will see that there is another driver called: "driver Oracle Version: 10-11" (without the BPM!). You must use this driver. (if you install the last 10.3.2 HF, this driver is the default).

If you do not have this driver, then you are using an older version of 10.3.2. Please migrate to 10.3.2.

    Hope this helps,

  • Oracle BPM Admin Center Configuration

    Hi all

I try to configure the Oracle BPM Admin Center but I get the following can error.plz a response if you have an idea...

    Configuration of Oracle BPM...
    Could not create a schema.
    Fuego
Detail the Cause: an error occurred when performing a database operation:'[BEA] [OracleJDBC Driver] [Oracle] ORA-28000: the account is locked
The database URL is jdbc:bea:oracle://localhost.localdomain:1521; SID = ORCL'

    Please answer if all solutions

    Thank you.

To install the schema, you must provide the user name and password of a user who has the SYSDBA role... try using the user 'system' and the default password is "password" in the case where not modified during the installation of db.

Try to get the password of the user to the 'system' of your DBA in case it has changed.

  • Migrate a BPM Studio project to enterprise server

    Hello
can anyone can help me and explain how to migrate or deploy a BPM studio on the enterprise BPM Server project?

    Thank you

Studio, right-click on the project and continue to export. This will give you an .exp file that contains information about the project.

Assuming that you have correctly installed Enterprise, just open the Task Manager, click projects, select deploy and navigate to the location of your .exp file.

    Its as simple as that!

  • space business BPM 10.3.1 for Weblogic

I just install Enterprise BPM 10.3.1 for weblogic. I have set up using the default setting.
In BPM Administration Center, there are 5 options:
    Beginning
    Stop
    Start the process manager
    Configuration
    output

    Where is the workspace?

    Hey YOU,.

If you deploy BPM on a Weblogic Server, you will find your workspace on the following url
    http://localhost:7001 / workspace

This is because all the jar services are deployed to the WLS. You can control if it is installed in the Task Manager-> drivers-> J2EE jar deployment (or something)
You will find all the pots that are / can be deployed. If you make changes using the BPM configuration Center admin don't forget to re-create and redeploy the jar file.

    I hope this helps.

  • LDAP configuration help

I am trying to configure Oracle BPM Suite 10 gR 3 to use a hybrid directory so my participants may be in LDAP.

I put it in place and it works properly but I need to specify a search for BPM database to look for participants. Currently when I select participants in the process administrator he tries to retrieve all users in my LDAP directory but I want only that it looks like those in a particular context for example OU = bpm, ou = users, o = myorg rather than everyone under o = myorg.

I guess that there must be a property I can specify to do so, but can't find any documentation as to what it may be.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

    Mike.

    Hi Mike

You can try changing the LDAP property file in the directory conf in the installation of Enterprise BPM.
inside the first occurrence of the "parent dn" tag, specify o = myorg, ou = users

  • WebCenter imaging and BPM installation

I try to install Imaging by following the documentation, and I'm confused about an article. I'm all installed on the same host.

When configuration AXF for BPM (http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E29542_01/doc.1111/e14495/configipm.htm#CACBJGCD), step 4 (create foreign JNDI with the Oracle WebLogic Scripting Tool (WLST)) must be made whether the Oracle SOA Suite managed server on a host separate from the imaging machine? And if so, can someone confirm what the variables 'var_jndiURIServer' and 'var_jndiURIServerPort' must be defined on the create-foreign-JNDI.py script? Should they be the server (localhost and port 8001) SOA, the WLS (localhost and port 7001) or server (localhost and port 16000) imaging?

I apologize for asking this because I'm sure it's very clear to everyone!

    Thank you

    Hi Dan,.

    # JNDI settings

var_jndiURIServer = "" # (-t) URI of Oracle SOA Suite JNDI target host

    var_jndiURIServerPort = "" # (-v) URI target JNDI port

I think that variables must point to the name of host suite SOA and the port which is "hostname" and "8001".
