configuration of the firewall granulated on e4200
Hello
I'm trying to configure a linksys firewall 4200. I wish I could close or open each single port of protocols/incoming/outgoing. It doesn't seem to be a simple way of the e4200 Web interface, y at - it another way to accomplish this?
Google does not seem to provide me with a lot of alternatives.
Thank you
Kind regards
Linksys devices are devices. They don't allow you to do that (unless you install the 3rd party firmware like dd - wrt).
Check Cisco Small Business.

Can I use the same NTP server configured in the firewall to guard
I configured the NTP server in my VCSC Expressway it synchronized correctly, but I'm unable to configured in my VCSC Gatekeeper with the same NTP server address that is configured in VCScExpresway.
Please suggest
Hello!
You use in.pool.ntp.org. This isn't a single ntp server, there is a pool of servers,
then you might see different ntp servers, and they can also change and sometimes
It can also happen that yo will get a limit down.
If I get him here, I have for exmple get:
$host in.pool.ntp.org
in.pool.ntp.org has address 113.30.137.34
in.pool.ntp.org has address 119.226.101.131
and a little later, I got:
$ host in.pool.ntp.org
in.pool.ntp.org has address 123.108.225.6
in.pool.ntp.org has address 125.62.193.121
In any case you want to configure multiple NTP server addresses.
So, if you want to use this area (India):
* You must configure these three host names as described here: http://www.pool.ntp.org/zone/in
* See who works for DNS resolution (which may also be the problem here)
* you have a suitable internet access
* see that the firewall is open to 123 to any host on the internet
* If you are not in India use a different area
On the VCS under Maintanance > tools > utilities you could for example check if you can resolve DNS and traceroute/ping external hosts on network.
The other option is to find at least 2 NTP servers you know and that you can use and set up.
then you could lock the specific IPS in the firewall, otherwise it should be open to all.
Its also not hard to set up your own server NTP, incidentally.

Configuration of the firewall on VCS via command xconfig rules
Hello
We have all the days of the "bad guys", how want to use our VCSE for calls to PSTN numbers.
It is possible to configure the firewallrules via Xconfiguration or only on the web page?
Thank you
Stephan
Actually, I just re-read your post and it seems that the firewall rules are not what you are after, but rather call policy (CPL) Scripts. Firewall rules, could be used to stop or allow to use specific IP addresses to connect to a service that runs on your VCS - such as SSH or HTTPS, not really for the filtering of the calls.

I'm trying to access the port through the Windows Vista firewall. When I open the firewall Panel and try to change the settings. The hourglass disappears and will not show the screen for changes. So you can not close the firewall Panel. Only way to get rid of it is to use the Task Manager and end task. Any ideas?
Hi wolfpackertom,
Present on the computer some third party software may hinder the process.
I suggest you try the following steps:

Configuration of the firewall Cisco Telepresence MCU 5320
Hi all.
I searched all the documents of the MCU again, but I found nothing on the ports it uses.
Help me
HI Sandra. The 5320 MCU is the same as 4500 MCU.
Incoming ports
- FTP - TCP:21 + transient (dynamic rather than fixed) used TCP ports for passive mode
- HTTP - TCP:80
- HTTPS - TCP:443
- H.323 - TCP:1720 + ephemeral TCP ports for incoming calls
- SNMP - UDP:161
- Outgoing calls to H.323 involve ephemeral ports TCP connections TCP TCP:1720 and a certain number of ephemeral TCP ports
- Outgoing SIP TCP calls involve connections between the TCP ephemeral ports and TCP:5060
- Outgoing SIP TCP calls involve connections between the TCP ephemeral ports and TCP:5061
- Outgoing interruptions SNMP are sent the ephemeral ports UDP Port 162
- Media (including audio and video, FECC messages) are ephemeral ports from ephemeral ports UDP.
- The products acquired Cisco TANDBERG/Codian and gateway series series Cisco TelePresence allocate the ephemeral ports between 49152 to 65535 *. It is possible to change the ports on which these products receive and establish connections. For example, by default the Codian products Cisco acquired listen port 1720 H.323 calls and connections to port 80 web browser, but these can be modified (go to network > Services).
Keep in mind this MCU does not support the streaming or conference me and have either the GK aboard. If these ports are listed.

I have an iMac of 2012 with a 27 "screen cannot enable the firewall?
There are two users on my iMac, my husband and i. checked to see if the firewall was on. It was not the case. Tried to turn it back on
the machine wouldn't let me. In permissions, there is a user ID remote listed 95 while I of course 0. I'd be

Windows Vista can not launch problem of checkers: try to re-launch your game. If the problem persists, it may be network with the server problems or a problem with the configuration of your firewall. Please check your firewall settings by visiting the Open Ports FAQ.

Configure the firewall on the esxi host 4
Team Kia Ora
I built an esxi host 4 on a piece of the material I had to hang around, as you do!
I'm eager to open ports in firewall on the host. I can't tick all the ports incoming and outgoing, I need tab of safety profile VC client (configuration of the host), and then select Properties. Also the esxcfg-firewall command is missing, even when I use a UMA VMware to place orders RCI to the host, there doesn't seem to be available. ?:|
See attachment "... - nzwlg - stack - 1.png".
On esx 3.5 or esx 4, I use the host configuration SecurityProfile tab, select Properties, click on the appropriate ports and in and facts. This feature seems to have moved/missing?
Also, strangeness, is that I have another esxi installation 4 which has the parameters display correctly under the Securityh profile | Properties tab. ? (attachment "... - nzwlg - pile2.png")
Any help greatly appreciated and have a great week! =)
ESXi have exhibited extensively in terms of services. All software tools to use must specifically support ESXi.

Cannot configure the firewall using vSphere client (access to ESX 4i)
I can't acess the firewall by using the client vSphere connection to a host of 4i ESX. I select the host & gt; configuration & gt; Safety profile & gt; and it flashes firewall briefly, but then watch as services (two) (VMware vCenter Agent (arrested) and NTP daemon (started).
Clues? I restarted services (and the host itself).
ESXi should be behind a firewall because there is no firewall integrated its own.
If you find this or any other information useful or appropriate, please consider giving points.

Regarding the firewall in RV180W/RV220W
Thinking of getting a RV180W or a RV220W for my home office. E4200 before installation and other models of consumption but the first to use the class Affairs (interested support VLAN to keep home & office LAN separated for example).
So the question with the firewall in these units... is the SPI firewall already out-of-the-box configuration? All that I should be concerned that differs from the security configuration in the patterns of consumption such as E4200?
Thanks for your advice.
Rob
Hi Rob, the firewall is configured by default. In this regard, there is not any necessary changes to 'Add', only to take away some or customize if you need specific services.

Firefox Beta 36 requires to define the parameters of the firewall to startup every time
Beta 36 for Firefox from a few days ago asking to add an exception to the OSX Firewall to startup every time. Even if I accept and enter my administrator credentials. Also if I add Firefox to the standing of firewall settings. He never asked me before the latest beta version.
I use 10.10.2

Some problems occurs when your Internet security program has been implemented.
trust the previous version of Firefox, but not more acknowledges your
update as being approved. Now how do I solve the problem: to allow
Firefox to connect to the Internet- Make sure your Internet security software is up-to-date (for example, you are using the latest version).
- Delete Firefox to list your program of programs approved or recognized. For detailed instructions, see
Configure the firewall so that Firefox can access the Internet. {web link}
Thanks for the reply, but it's fixed now with a new beta 37.0
The previous version of Firefox has not solved even after that I removed and then Firefox again added to the firewall exceptions list.

Have used firefox for ages w / no problem - this morning, firefox will not have internet access - modem and the router are fine, inernet explore what access very well. Firefox is configured to use the system, not considered proxy settings 'no proxy', has not worked, checked windows and Mcaffey firewalls, not found something that should be blocked. Have restarted/rebooted everything
This has happened
Each time Firefox opened
This moringing - last successfully used there - 3: 00 children asks that they "did nothing...". »
User Agent
Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 8.0; Windows NT 5.1; Trident/4.0; .NET CLR 1.1.4322; .NET CLR 2.0.50727; .NET CLR 3.0.4506.2152 .NET CLR 3.5.30729)
They did something with firefox 3.6.8, which upsets the McAffee Firewall currently. Since the upgrade, I get the firewall Alerts pop ups. If you click on the block (which could have your children), then Firefox will be blocked completely.
If you dig in the McAffee Firewall tools-> program authorities, you will likely find that Firefox listed as "blocked."
On my machine, the entry is for 'Free' only and I now get alerts. I think they will disappear if I switch it to "Full". But I'm reluctant to do this, why a browser should accept incoming connections, why this change has been made and what benefit is it for us as users?

Removal of the SBS 2011 server how to migrate DHCP and DNS services to the firewall
I have a small client that has an old server that comes close to falling; its off primary runnign the disk space and must often be restarted. they do not need the server and it was decided to remove the server and use a working group with NAS drive for their records. They have a sonicwall firewall that can handle all DHCP services. All computers have disjoint form field, all profiles will migrate the workstation's local user accounts. all work, printing, file sharing and internet services. When the server is stopped, after about 10 minutes the network goes down and I can't even log into the firewall.
How I got out of shape services DHCP from the server to the firewall? the firewall has active DHCP and the range of rental contract is configured correctly, but cann no PC connect when the server is off.
Im trying to finish this tomorrow so if anyone can help me tonight it would be very appreciated...
