  Hello! My volume icon disappeared from my taskbar.   Sorry for not providing the complete steps to change the registry keys in my previous suggestion, below are the steps:

  Step 1: Modify the registry keys:

  1. press the Windows key + R key.

  2. in the search box of command run, type regedit and hot OK.
