Conflict between 10 Reader and Acrobat 9 Pro, but Dreamweaver does need Acrobat?
I was trying to understand why Adobe Reader 10 would not print a simple PDF of a page containing only text information distributed by the federal Government. I found a message about this in the Adobe forums where the person said, they should not have Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro and Adobe Reader 10 installed at the same time. Well, I think I know that remove Acrobat Pro is dangerous, because when I installed Adobe Dreamweaver CS5, spy said that acrobat 9 Pro should be installed first before Dreamweaver CS5 would work. Anyone understand this? Maybe I should remove Reader 10 instead and just open and print PDFS with Acrobat? This is what has worked with the Government PDF I just mentioned.
To meet the side of DW, DW doesn't have Acrobat for nothing as far as I know. Acrobat is installed before the rest of the suite (assuming you have more) because Acrobat has never been a real part of the suite and is on a completely different life cycle than the rest of the suite. That's why no CS 5.5 to include Acrobat X. And it is true what you've heard that you should not mix Pro and reader. Is there a reason that you need Acrobat Reader X on your machine? Was there really a leader out there who does not open in version 9?
If Acrobat gives you bad I recommend to uninstall the version of Player X and let the pro version. Due time we are out there, I think it unlikely that a version of CS5 will be released and the integration of Acrobat X suite do not take place until Creative Suite 6 is out.

Installation of Reader and Acrobat is not recommended. If I were you, I remove all traces of both and reinstall the one I want to keep.

Acrobat Reader is just a viewer/reader PDF; It cannot modify or create PDFs.
You will need Acrobat Standard or Pro to extract pages from a PDF.

My requirement in the broad sense of the term: I develop a VISITORS Info. Adobe interactive form, I have Designer 8.1 and Reader 9.0 in my Windows 7 laptop. When I checked the menu EDIT-> properties-> compatibility, its form Adobe XML File (XDP)
When I opened this interactive form to VISITORS in a browser, right click and PROPERTIES-shaped, then I saw the "PDF Version: 1.6 (Acrobat 7.x)" (pls. Let me know what is the right forum for me to post my questions)

No, you don't need a LiveCycle Designer to create forms. Acrobat is able to
by doing this.

New York requires the fulfillment of its RP-5217-PDF form for all real estate closings. The form automatically generates a bar code. My office uses Apple/Mac computers and the barcode appears in all versions of Adobe Reader and Acrobat Pro before DC. DC watch version the form without a bar code. I thought it was resolved in the continuous version of Acrobat and Reader, but maybe not... You can report the problem here: feature request/Bug Report Form
A workaround would be to upgrade to XI player for now. I agree this is a major issue and hope Adobe will solve it soon.

I always check manually (and daily) for updates. A few weeks back, I checked for updates of Adobe Reader 11 and found nothing, but found only adobe Acrobat Reader DC listed. I assumed it was the newest Adobe Reader 11 and downloaded and installed Acrobat Reader DC replacement. No problem, very well.
Moving fast until today when I checked the updates to the Acrobat Reader DC, and I found an update for Adobe Reader 11 (Version 11.0.11). So, what is the difference between Adobe Reader and Adobe Acrobat Reader DC? Should I stay with Adobe Reader? I'm confused! (Thanks a lot).

Adobe will continue to publish updates of Player 11 for a while, but they will not be security update.
DC is actually version 15. Or 2015. Depends on how count you.

Reader and Acrobat issue weird display
Hi all
I had this problem for a while, but it's finally get the best of me. The question is the contained part of the screen splits diagonally from the lower left top right. The left is "fuzzy" while the right is not affected. Sometimes the blur will start immediately and move his own (gets worse as you progress down to the right). The other way that happens if you drag highlighting, select, scroll etc. It can often be reset by clicking to select the entire page, but often always starts again. I had this problem on 7 of Acrobat and Reader 9. Since I've updated both Reader and Acrobat 10 the problem still exists.
I'll try to make a movie screenshot and upload it if it would help. Please let me know any other information you might need.

An update on this issue. I disabled the accerelation 2D in Reader and Pro. Problem solved.

I converted MS-Outlook 2010 e-mail folder (and emails) into a PDF portfolio. When I have Adobe Reader X R-clicked, selected, I got and error message "To display the contents of the Flash technology in this PDF file, please install this version of Flash Player that supports Adobe Reader and Acrobat". I get the same msg when I try to open it with Acrobat. He worked the week last in Adobe Reader. I have the latest version of Flash Player installed. The portfolio opens when I click on < more >, but the Index is missing and I can't get to the first email. PC platform. Anyone else having this problem? If so, how to fix?
You are running Internet Explorer by chance? If so, the Flash Player you have is NOT in need of Adobe Reader and Acrobat. If there is a link in the message, use that, rather than assuming that you already have Flash Player. If this does not work, let us know.

Jeff, you made me think a little more about it. I just completely removed Norton security Suite from my computer and the download worked. I have now reinstalled Norton. Previously I tried to disable the firewall, but which did not allow the download. Sorry to you and thank you for evil.

I followed the instructions to set up the home between my Mac and iPhone sharing 6, but I don't understand all the music on my iPhone
I have confirmed:
(1) devices are on the same network
(2) I am connected to my AppleID with the same account
3) are my OS up to date (Mac 10.11.2) (9.2 iPhone)
(3) I closed iTunes and the App has reopened(4) I turned my iPhone off and rebooted (and confirms the foregoing)
On my iPhone, I see in my music library, different ' kind' listed (e.g., classic, recently added, music of the 1990s, etc.) but they are all empty.
Im hoping to see the music I have in iTunes on my Mac and play these songs on my iPhone.
IM thinking, music that would be shared from my computer to my phone will be on the cloud?
(I did not all default to add my music in the cloud at the moment).
