conflict between and cable h and 802. 11 b / g?

Is there a conflict when a laptop has an active Ethernet cable connected and available wireless 802. 11b / g connection? If so, what technology would take over?

Thank you.

Hilarious. No network connectivity"is" based solely on the type of connection!

It is a simple matter of the ip routing table ("netstat - rn") and which order you connect you and if an ip address is assigned, etc.

For example, if you are using wireless network and then connect a wired cable to an active network and get a DHCP address, without disconnection of the wireless network, you will actually be connected to two networks. The default gateway (route 0.0.0.0/0 in the routing table) will have a metric is lower for the connection that came second, or the wired connection, which means that all traffic not intended for your local (directly connected) wireless network or cable network subnet will be sent to the default gateway of the cable network.

I use it to my advantage in my consulting work using cell phone or wireless network comments for my route fault for my client VPN (etc.) works, while being able to print locally, etc. This isn't the safest way of doing things, but it works and answer your question, I hope...

However, my computer said that there is a conflict between my "Flip on Long Edge', 'Letter' and"Borderless printing"paper size options. Is it possible to have it all at the same time?

    Hello

Automatic duplex printing requires your printer increase its margins for the duplexer inside the printer to retrieve the page and flip it around.  It is a function of the printer and can not be changed therefore you cannot print without margins in auto duplex.

    Hello

Having a firewall protects your computer can cause problems system, slow, etc., such that there is a conflict between them.

This normally happens if you have an Internet Security Suite, which includes its own firewall, protecting your computer and have Windows Firewall enabled, too.

What Antivirus program you have installed?

And what program give you this advice?

And you are using a 3rd party Firerwall?

Zone Alarm is an example of a 3rd party firewall.

You can disable the firewall of a Suite Internet security within this program.

Here's how to disable the Windows Firewall:

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/turn-Windows-Firewall-on-or-off

But before you let do us know what Antivirus you are using to ensure that you receive a message authentic on this firewall problem.

And you must also have an antivirus installed for the same reasons.

    See you soon.

    Hello Terri,

Thanks for posting your question on the Microsoft community.

Thank you for details on the issue.

This problem may occur because of damaged or incorrect network settings.

I would suggest trying the following methods and check if it helps.

    Method 1:
Run the network troubleshooting and check.
    Reference:
Using the troubleshooter from network in Windows 7
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/using-the-network-troubleshooter-in-Windows-7

Note: You can run utilities times 'Internet connection' and 'network card'.

If this does not help, use method 2.

    Method 2:
Reset TCP/IP and check the issue.
    Refer to this article:

  • Conflicts between the 'Éléments' and 'CC '.

When installing CC, I came across serious problems. The German support he blames to my network, but this was not true. My admin has discovered that there is a conflict between 'Photoshop Elements' and CC. As a precaution, we also uninstalled 'First 11 Elements'. After the installation of CC has worked well.

There is of course no need to have 'Éléments' as well as 'CC Photoshop"on a single computer, but for my a few videos YouPorn 'Premiere Elements' was quite enough. Anyone know if it is possible to reinstall 'First Elements 11' on the same computer with 'Photoshop CC' and "Lightroom CC"?

  • Conflict DS_Open and Microsoft WebBrowser ActiveX?

In the last days, I found a problem (or some kind of conflict) between the DS_Open and Microsoft ActiveX WebBrowser.

On my PC (Win XP Pro SP2, CVI 6.0 with a later installation of the ICB RTE 8.1), it is easy to reproduce the problem:

-Download the example from here dsweb.zip

-If you run this example everything should work properly

-on the IUR add a Microsoft Activex WebBrowser

-compile the project and run it

-When you press "Get Web Page" you have a fatal error in function RunUserInterface()

    could someone help me?

I don't know about the problem of the icon. You can check the appearance of these files when you open the default directory in Windows Explorer. It's probably something specific system - but I'm not sure.

On the other issue - I think it's because of conflicts of threading model. Try calling

    CA_InitActiveXThreadStyleForCurrentThread (0, COINIT_APARTMENTTHREADED);

as the first call in main() before calls to DS_Open or LoadPanel.

I want to know what is happening in both scenarios, if the device that I use with 802. 1 q is Cisco and if I am running with other devices of the seller as HP.

I think that the trunk cannot be established, but the doubt raised in my mind is because I read in a forum where they mentioned that ISL will be more rule 802. 1 q and trunk will settle using ISL for communication. Is this true?

Kindly explain to me the process of junction between the appliances with ISL and 802. 1 q, when it is connected to the whole.

    Thank you for your time.

I just wanted know what happens when two switch running on different protocols, when connected to form trunk.

If switch 2 is directly related, layer 2 will not come to the top.  It's two people with a talk in English and the other party can speak Klingon.

The other way around this is to put a "translator" in the Middle, like another switch.  You set this switch to talk to ISL to another ISL switch (catalyst 3K) and talk about 802. 1 q to an another 802. 1 q (such as switches Catalyst 2 K).

  • Are there conflicts CS6 and CC?

Currently, I have CS6 and am very happy with it. Essentially, at the time of the purchase, I was not interested in renting my software and choose rather the CS6. However, I have looked with interest on the features of CC and have considered try them. I got two completely opposing views of friends. The first was a warning that if I installed and tried the CC versions, they eradicate or at least interfere with my current suite CS6. Others said they had heard that this was not correct. As long as these completely separate programs (apples and oranges), we wouldn't interfere with each other. I could change with the CC version morning and CS6 version in the afternoon. There will never be a conflict. It makes me very nervous. I asked this question to Adobe sales staff and they said that they simply did not know. I need to be assured that my CS6 package and a new version of CC will not cause conflict between them. Without that assurance, I'll stick with my CS6 that satisfies me.

CS6 and CC are separate, and you can use a

On my new WRT1900ACS (ACv2, loaded with the latest firmware 1.0.0.169041) I want to force the two bands in 802.11n only, but I can not because the choice of "802.11n only" does not appear in the drop-down lists.

The only choices that appear on the Wireless tab are 'mixed', '802. "11b / g only", "802. 11 g-only", "802. 11 b only for 2 .4GHz' and '802.11ac only', '802. 11 a only"for 5 GHz.  It's as if Linksys has decided to remove the 802.11n choice from the graphical interface at some point.  Why?  I want this option of return.

  • AP1200 with clients 802.1 b and 802.11 g

Is AP1200 supports clients both 802. 11B and 802.11 g at the same time?

    Hi Philippe,.

    The short answer is Yes, the series 1200 AP with a G radio can support clients both b & g at the same time. Be sure to correctly configure data rates to not to exclude clients b. Take a look at the info;

With the Cisco Aironet 1200 Series, a single access point can operate a radio for 802. 11 b / customers g.

    This doc.

    http://www.Cisco.com/en/us/products/HW/wireless/ps430/products_data_sheet09186a00800937a6.html

In a few years, WLAN evolved from proprietary systems with sub-Mbit/s capabilities to standardized offers running at as much as a combined 108 Mbps data rate. These high data rates are available in two band 2.4 GHz with technology 802.11 g and Band 5 GHz with 802. 11A technology. 802.11 g provides backward compatibility with 802. 11b devices, but is limited to three channels, overlapping in the band of 2.4 GHz. 802. 11A provides no backward compatibility but supports up to 23 channels (depending on local regulations). For compatibility backward and high capacity, suppliers of WLAN clients are migrating to dual band 802. 11a / g capable of client machines.

  • 1242AG support both the 802. 11A and 802. 11 g?

    Hello

I have 16 1242 PA 802.11 G running with b and g of the clients connected. I want to use 802. 11A for Cisco 7921 cordless phones. This access point take all both a and g at the same time? How can I achieve this?

    Thanks in advance.

    Khyber

    Hi Khyber,

    The AIR-AP1242AG supports the 802. 11A and 802. 11 b / g at the same time.

You just have to put in place a different SSID for phones and attach it to the 802. a 11-interface. Then you can samples 802. 11 a-interfaces.

You can also use the same SSID for all. But it is recommended to use separate SSID for data-customers and non-customers-voice.

Oh, and you need to sign one or two antennas for the 802. 11 a-interface, too, of course.

    Welcome,

    Sebastian

    Hello Horst-

Yes, you can do this by creating an "identity" store sequence and fix the two AD and the data store is internal to it. Take a look at the link below:
