Confused about the layout of the table of contents

I work in FM7 and I go through the manual for help on the table of contents page layout. More precisely what I can't understand is how to group entries in a list generated.
I work in a book with a number of files; I'll have a TOC, LOF and MANY. In the table of contents what I want to do is entered from the Section and chapter group. In other words, I want in my table of contents:
Section xx
Chapter xx
Section
Section
Section
Chapter xx
Section
Section xx
etc.
I also tried to understand the inputs on the reference page to see if I understand the grouping of the way in which they are displayed on the page.
Question - how do I? Do I need to format the entries in the reference page? Or is it another place. (This applies also to my LOF and BATCH)

Will you put a paragraph of the Section of each chapter title? If so, that is the problem - there should be only one paragraph of Section heading, in the chapter where the section actually starts. Succeeding chapters located in this section should not have a Section title.
That's where you mix and match with the concept of "clustering" and the functioning of an Index.
TOCs of work by selecting the actual paragraph for each specified tag - FM is not "roll up" all paragraphs in the Section title even if they are the same.
If you need to have the text of the title of the Section repeated on each subsequent chapter early, I suggest make you a new paratag, for example "Section Repeater", and then not include this tag in your table of contents, of course. There are other methods to repeat the content, too, as the use of variables and markers, but let's not too confusing thread immediately.

Concerning
Dba_segments indicates the space allocated to the segment while expdp indicates the size of the exported data, so if you had a table with a measure of 1 MB, but no data, dba_segments would 1 MB and expdp would report 0 bytes.

Confused about the extension of the Sprite class
Howdy-
I learn programming with object oriented ActionScript and am confused about the class Sprite and OO in general.
My understanding is that the Sprite class allows you to group a set of objects that you can manipulate all the objects at the same time.
I explored the Open Flash Chart code and note that the main class extends the Sprite class:

What this lets you do?
Also, on a related note, how to draw, say, a line once I extended?

A number of things.
First of all, I would not use this approach in your table constructor. Setting the width and height only makes sense if you adjust the width and height of the existing content, and the table (Sprite) does not at this time here. If you want to give the table a 'size', you could do it like this:

Confused about the notion of VLAN
I'm confused about the VLAN. I thought that the notion of VLAN was this computer on different VLANS were not suppose to be able to communicate with each other. I am setting up a 6248 and for me to get DHCP to work, I need to enable ip Routing. When I turn the routing ip, all computers on different VLANS are able to ping each other. Characters Czechs corrupt in the Table of contents
Hello world.
I'm working on a project large enough help in Czech. This isn't something that I started from scratch, I took during a colleague who recently left our company, so I don't know much about how it was done.
The project is made of 3 elements, resulting in 3 CHMS which are then copied into the same folder with other CHM using some sort of algorithm.
Once all of these files (CHMS 4 in total) are copied to the folder Help software, they are shown as a component only when you click the button in the software - which means that you see a table of contents complete with chapters of each 3 files).
The problem is when I compile the individual CHMS, I get the message " " "characterparameters HTML help a not supported for the selected language. Do you want to continue? »
If I continue, the file is compiled and when I open it, the table of contents seems ok. However, when I copy with the other files and open in the software (a program of type CAD) some characters are replaced with something else:
I use Robo help 10 and the police in the files is Verdana. I read on another thread than the police could be the problem, but I don't know how to change in all files (except perhaps to Internet Options in the chm directly?)
My regional settings are also defined in Czech when I compile the file, so it shouldn't be a problem. However, whenever I compile, I get this message and corrupt characters are displayed using the software.
Can anyone help with this?

From my experience, namely character such problems can sometimes more an art than a science. This is what it looks like anyway.
A few issues involved can be:
- Language for non-unicode programs office must match the output of the Control Panel, in the dialog box language and region , on the administration tab, make sure that the language of non-unicode programs is set to the target language.
- Language settings in RoboHelp - under file | Project settings, ensure that you have set the language in HR in Czech for all projects. In addition, in the pod of single Source Layouts, right-click on the output and choose Properties in the drop-down list, and language , make sure that it is set in Czech.
- Encoding of characters in the file itself - open the file (in this case .hhc) within a text editor like Notepad ++ and in menu coding , check its character encoding. By experience, it must be on encode them in UTF-8 encode in UTF-8 without BOM.
- Character encoding in the tag XML - also in Notepad ++, check the coding in the first tag line 1. My hhc file that we translated into Czech, it is set to

RH7 topics in the table of contents report?
I have a project that has 11 different layouts: 2 go to WebHelp, 9 go to Word, with the content variable determined by the two tables of contents and conditional build tags. The customer wants minor changes to a few topics in the Word output. The fastest way is to edit Word documents and source files separately, due to the time it takes to generate a new output in Word and then reformat the content to make it good.
Is there an easy way to know about a particular topic, which ToC (or presentation) he appears in? variants of 114 subjects x 11 ToC = a lot of lists to cross-check!I just discovered a partially useful answer.
In the list of topics RH7, it shows a column called "name of the table of contents. Drag this column as wide as possible, and you can see all the tables of contents appearing in the heading.
After changing topics, I click the Date header to sort by date so that the latest changes appear at the top. Then I see what table of contents that they are, in a view. All what I need now is to print it. I guess there is always a 'Print Screen'! -

I use RoboHelp 2015 and reactive production layout, I need to rearrange these tabs. I want the tab of filtering of dynamic content to be displayed before the table of contents.
Is it possible to re - sequence tab filters before tab table of contents by making some backend work in CSS or code?
Or the other way improved - if we select filters say - sales, then sales related subjects should be displayed (rather extended below - just like the expansion of text).
Is it possible to customize the sensitive provision in this way?

Duplicate sections throughout the table of contents after generating the HTML5 multiscreen output
Use: RoboHelp 10, version 10.0.0.287
Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. click on file > create > main layout (Multiscreen_HTML5)
2 al ' Generate window click on [Save and Generate]
3. wait
4. click on [view results]
5 results show swathes of the table of contents reproduced in other sections. 10 more times to repeat the generation before that the entire table of contents points are correct and I can publish. This is not preventing me from doing the job, but it's certainly a time killer.
Background: I inherited a working version. I did not create it. I have more knowledge of the HTML language, but I'm not a developer. I didn't upgrade beyond RH10 option. I have studied this many times, but have not been able to find a solution. The only other thing I've seen sometimes are error messages related to the toctree.js file, but I still don't understand those. Even when I have not, this past yet, but I have included this error just in case it may be related, although I suspect that it is a separate issue. I don't currently have the line in the js file because this sample is old and I have not seen the question at least a month.
Other Notes: I've seen a few posts on a similar question in the printed version, but, I do not have a printed version. I don't know if that makes a difference, and do I know if anyone in the past that put in place or even where to go to watch.
Try to move the project to somewhere that the path is not so long and generate a new folder.

DESCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT:
- A single RoboHelp HTML project with three exits. One of the outputs is a 'validation' reference that has its own Table of contents.
- Validation reference Table of contents contains a subset of the subjects in the main help system. For example, the help system main table of contents contains a folder named 'Administration '. This folder is not in the table of contents of reference for Validation.
- The reference of Validation is displayed on a public web site. Therefore, we applied the tag "Non_public_info" contained in the topics shared that we do not want to appear on the public website.
- WebHelp parameters are:
- Validation reference TOC
- No map file, no sequence to browse
- Conditional compilation expression: NOT_Non_public_info_AND_NOT_StyleGuidelines_AND_NOT_TRP (we keep our Style rules in the project to facilitate access during development. TRP content must be rejected because it was not released.)
- Exclude non referenced topics of output is selected.
- Search options. Only 'Show Total number of search results' and 'View AND search Option in outputs' are selected.
- After generating the WebHelp, we remove the files that we don't want (RoboHelp generates empty folders, even if the files are not in the table of contents.)
PROBLEM: A search in the help of Validation reference reveals the topics that we think should not be included because the subjects themselves are not in the table of contents of Validation reference. For example, the section "Data quality analysis" is in the main table of contents help, but not in the table of contents of reference for Validation. Therefore, we do not expect the topic appears in the search results pane at all. But he does. When the user clicks on the subject, the "Resource not found" message appears.
Nothing shows the topic Style_Guidelines because the StyleGuidelines label conditional construction applies to the entire folder and the "Style guidelines" book in the main table of contents. (Same thing for the TRP folder).
QUESTION: Why are topics which are not in the table of contents and whose records are not in the project at all appearing in the WebHelp during a search? We need to rewrite the expression of conditional compilation or establish conditions differently. We assume not have topics in the table of contents, not including the topics not referenced in the output, and remove empty folders would be the way to go. Any help is welcome!

The table of contents does not control what ends up in the output for output online. All content tagged and tagged content which is not excluded by the expression of construction will be included. The parameter 'Exclude topics not referenced output' more exclude all subjects which are not in the table of contents AND are not related to any topic which is included in the output.
On the other hand, for the print output the table of contents control which is found in the output. I think that it will fire a lot of people.
If you generate the help and that you do not remove the unwanted files, do you still have the error? If this isn't the case, you know that the topic is referenced somewhere in the content of the reference of the Validation.
Here is the help of RH11. I can't imagine it would have changed, but you could do a search to verify a second time for RH2015.
Exclude output not referenced topics
Select this option to exclude any topic that exists in the project, but is not the default theme in page layout or is not referenced table of selected contents, index or sequence to browse, or any referenced subject.
Note: RoboHelp shows the topics not referenced that are excluded from the output in the output view module.

Topics by opening the first occurrence in the table of contents
Background: I created HTML5 Responsive help using HR 2015 for a web application. I organized the Hep role, then pages with these roles, users can access, and then by the tasks users can perform on this page. In many cases, a subject is listed under multiple roles and reuse and efficiency, I just dragged the same theme in the list of the topic in the table of contents as appropriate.
I also used the text conditionalized on table of contents by role level. Using the example below, I have conditions for physician, nurse, and Patient, but I don't think that this is part of the issue well. Conditionalized roles were created for filtering purposes.
Question: I have the overview topics that include hyperlinks to headings in red in the example below for each role. When a user clicks the hyperlink in this topic of presentation, he brings them to the FIRST occurrence of this topic in the table of contents, not the link that is associated with their role. When a user with the role of the Patient is in the topic view of their role and click the hyperlink 'Research for patients', help opens on this subject, but the "Searching for patients" in the topic role of physician in the table of contents on the left is highlighted. Not a show-stopper, but it is confusing for users.
Also, we had originally planned to use the filter feature to filter role help topics. When I filter to view only a specific role (nurse) and do the steps above, by clicking on the Preview 'Search for patients' hyperlink opens but there is no highlighting in the table of contents because this first occurrence is hidden in all the subjects physician.
Note: This problem does not occur when I generate the content as WebHelp.
What I want to do: When the nurse click on the hyperlink for 'Research for patients' of their overview topic, researching topic of patients is open and the search for patients is highlighted in the table of contents under the nurse, not the first occurrence (doctor).
Questions: Is this a bug or is it repairable? And is it possible to fix it without creating the specific role of topics such as finding doctors for Patients, nursing research for Patients and so forth? I tried to delete the table of contents and start again, but the problem persists.

My opinion would be that this is the expected behavior. My theory is that there is no information within the syntax of hyperlinks. A hypertext link is encoded such that when you click on it, you are taken to the landing page, as if sending the message "find the page named
and post it by the specified parameters. What is happening is that the hyperlink goes to the first instance of the HTML page in your table of contents (.hhc file). There is no intelligence, he doesn't "know" that you are in the doctor or the nurse section - section he knows only that the page specified in the table of contents is listed in the file and thus, it only takes you there. The syntax of hyperlinks don't "know" where you are in the help system. Master Pages are part of each document.
You can import master pages from another document (i.e. a ' model') in your current document using the file > import > Formats... option and select layout from the list (deselect all others).
If you have changed the current TOC for the problem of the Page Master on the left, then simply save the file and use the Edit > update book option for that OCD regenerated by using the new page templates.

As you do this is by creating folders in the project manager, then create new topics in the files or move the existing entries in the records.
If you work exclusively in the project manager, you are only able to move a single topic at a time. If you want to move a swarm of topics, open the pod of the list of topics and you can select as many as you want. Then drag the subjects selected to the folder on the project manager pod. Be a little careful when you drag. Often the mouse will pass over a tab at the bottom of the basket, and this can change their minds about you.
