Confused Flash Player + AIR Sys specs

HI - the specs say 2.33 GHz processor and 1.6 for atom netbks - my laptop is 1.3 GHz dual core, so I'm not able to use Flash Player + AIR? There are so many phones out there less 2.33 GHz I got this confused - help please - thank you.

We will not keep him from moving, but the experience might not be great.  Our system minimum requirements are intended to something that you will get a decent modern content experience, such as 3D games immersive Flash and playback of video-based high definition H.264.

    Hello

    This can help you:

    Download and run the Flash Player Uninstaller, as Flash can get damaged.

    http://helpx.Adobe.com/Flash-Player/KB/uninstall-Flash-Player-Windows.html

    Then download and install Flash Player; After unchecking installing Chrome and Google toolbar option:

    http://get.Adobe.com/flashplayer/?promoid=BUIGP

    If the problem persists, you may want to ask in the Forums of community Flash Player:

  • Confusion over versions Flash Player installed (8.1 Win, Opera, IE, FF, Chrome etc.)

    Latest browser Opera nagging guard update me Flash player (Note: real page, install flash not fake!)

    The 'about' page at http://www.Adobe.com/UK/software/Flash/about/ tells me that 18.0.0.203 is the most recent.

    In Opera and Firefox it I have a newer version installed that is actually installed.

    You have installed 18,0,0,205 version

    In Chrome and IE, he says:

    You have version 18,0,0,194 installed

    What's weird here, it's that it's Opera and Chrome that share the same rendering engine, and IE and Firefox are doing their own thing.

    And I thought that Chrome has provided its own Flash Player, and if Opera is using the version of the Flash Player system, shouldn't it be the same as IE?

    Confused. And no, I have certainly not any malware or virus, and Yes, my system/browsers are all up to date.

    Hi digitaltoast2,

    I can understand your frustration and confusion.

    • Google integrates the plugin PPAPI in Chrome and all updates are distributed by Google as a component or an update of Chrome update.

      • Google is to denigrate the NPAPI plugin and have it turned off by default, although you can always activate manually, at least until Google completely disagree with support NPAPI in September.  See https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/6213033?hl=en for more information on activation manually the NPAPI plugin
      • Google has recently so, same as if you manually install the PPAPI plugin, it doesn't show in the list of plugins in Chrome disabled version no embedded Flash player in Chrome.
    • Firefox uses the NPAPI plugin
    • Opera can use a plugin NPAPI or PPAPI, however, it has been my experience that if you install the NPAPI plugin opera (not Flash Player) will post a notice of the latest version of Flash Player is not installed, and invite you to install Flash Player, which will install the PPAPI plugin. If you have installed NPAPI plugin, it might by why Opera is you inviting them to install (again).
    • Internet Explorer: From Windows 8, Microsoft integrates Flash Player in Internet Explorer and all updates are distributed by Microsoft via Windows updates.
      • If a Flash Player update to Internet Explorer does not appear when you run Windows updates, you can check the Microsoft security advisories and see if it is in the list.  If so, follow the link to the specific KB page where there will be a link to download the update of IE.

    The latest versions for all platforms and browsers listed at the http://www.adobe.com/uk/software/flash/about/.

    18.0.0.205 is the latest beta version, released earlier this week.  If that version is installed on your system, it indicates that you are in the channel of beta, as opposed to the output string. To return to the output channel, download latest beta displayed at the bottom of the page http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/flashplayer.html uninstaller.  Then go to get.adobe.com/flashplayer with Firefox and Opera to download and install the latest version of Flash Player for these versions.

    Hope this helps to clarify the confusion.

    On the opening of google, I get the message: "ATTENTION!" Your Flash Player can be updated. Please update to continue"- by clicking on ok I am confused to download Flash Player Pro site? What is an Adobe product? And why, even if I have the latest version of flash player I received several times the message?

    This isn't a message that provides Adobe, and I recommend that you do not click the link. It seems you may have malware on your computer.

  • Flash Player is not installed, even though said installed on MacBook Air. Can you help me please?

    I have a macbook air. My computer crashed 2 days ago and since I rebooted it, since 2 days I have ' plugins blocked» I installed, update... what he said I needed, although there was an option to pay for additional stuff I didn't pay. but the update was installed, didn't work. I uninstalled flash player and reinstalled twice, he still considered blocked. I closed and restarted twice, after uninstalling and after installation. No luck. I get a check for installation message that it is not on my computer, or I don't have the right to run. I read something on the search for programs on IE... but I use safari. I need help please.

    I got it fixed with a personal link gave to someone else with the same problem. The link was problematic... I had to use it 3 times... but finally I found the download for version 15.0 on my computer and finally I installed it and finally things work again. The problem seems to be related to having to find the version 15.0. Nevermind, I lost two days trying to do what should be a simple update.

  • AIR feature in Flash Player (3D)

    I need to target Flash Player 11 for 3D projects, which means that I'm fighting to keep some important features of AIR for Android:

    NativeApplication.nativeApplication.systemIdleMode = SystemIdleMode.KEEP_AWAKE;

    NativeApplication.nativeApplication.addEventListener (Event.DEACTIVATE, DeactivateDevice);

    NativeApplication.nativeApplication.addEventListener (Event.ACTIVATE, ReactivateDevice);

    I get the error:

    1120: access of undefined property NativeApplication.

    Or that if I try to import the class manually:

    1172: definition flash.desktop:NativeApplication could not be found.

    Is it possible to have the best of both worlds? And if not, how do I get the things above, another way?

    Turns out everything I can still use AIR for 3D if I set the rendering for "GPU" mode - even if I compile as 'direct' in the descriptor of the app.

  • How to determine running AIR or Flash Player?

    Is it possible to determine at run time if the code runs the web/flash player or AIR version?

    I created an AIR application, but I also want to make sure the application can run on the web. There are some APIs not applications no PNEUMATIC, so I need to change the code when the code is running in a web browser. I want a simple way to determine if the code is running as a standalone application inside the flash player or AIR.

    Is there a simple Boolean variable to call to determine if the code is running in an AIR application?

    I found a few ways to do this:

    ================================

    #1-check to see if an AIR command can only be called.

    var bSupportsAir:Boolean = true;

    try {}

    NativeApplication.nativeApplication.systemIdleMode;

    } catch(err:Error) {}

    bSupportsAir = false;

    }

    ================================

    #2 see if the playerType's desktop

    var bSupportsAir:Boolean = (Capabilities.playerType == "Desktop");

  • Capabilities.version returns the version of the flash player in the AIR?

    Capabilities.version returns my version of flash player, "WIN 10,1,53,64" and not the version of AIR in my air application. The Flex 4 States of reference, the "information platform and Specifies the Flash Player version or Adobe® AIR® . I guess that this behavior is a bug, then. How can I get the version of AIR by program within AIR?

    My version of AIR is 2.5.1.17730.

    Thank you

    Hi Mark,

    To get the version of the AIR runtime try it please:

    NativeApplication.nativeApplication.runtimeVersion

  • Air applications require Flash Player?

    Well, this question may sound silly, but you please help me with my basic doubt. Applications created in Flex (AIR application) requires Flash Player on the client side or simply install AIR on the client side will do?

    No, just the AIR runtime is enough. Air application uses the airglobal.swc for compilation.

  • 32-bit Flash Player on 64-bit Sys

    In dec. I downloaded the update of Win - 10 for my laptop Dell 5521 with an Intel i5 CPU 64 bit processor. I checked the version of the new Win-10 and it shows 64-bit. When I go into the sign at the entrance says Flash Player 32, it is just a generic label or am I a flash drive 32-bit on a 64 bit system?  Is it still important?  As expected, I am having some problems with the new OS and I'm just trying everything I see that seems wrong.

    Hello

    The item that you see in the control panel is just the Manager settings of Flash Player, which is a 32-bit application and allows users to manipulate the various Flash Player settings.  Player flash itself supports both 64-bit and 32-bit operating systems.

  • Problem installing Adobe Flash Player for Mac Air (Yosemite)

    I got a message saying that my Adobe Flash Player is out of date. This seemed strange because I had been to access the videos of the previous hour without any problems. I went ahead and opened the Mac version download of the Adobe site setup. Installation began, and after the entry of a password to Admin, the download has reached 25% almost immediately. Unfortunately, it's been blocked 25% since then. I tried to do it again, removing the download and the re - download the update without success. I've also temporarily disabled my AdBlock and AdBlock Plus. I tried to uninstall AFP so I could start again, but the box that is supposed to tell me what version of uninstaller for download has error message says I need to update AFP.

    How can I fix?

    Edit: I thought I was downloading an AFP for an earlier operating system (I'm under 10.10.2). I made sure to download the latest version of the AFP for Mac possible. The installation is now stuck at 30%. (Just to be clear, I downloaded the package without problem - the problem is with the installation of the program itself stopping at 30 %.))

    Edit 2: I figured out that uninstall the package that I needed (using this page: Uninstall Flash Player |) Mac OS) but after reinstallation AFP, he is still stuck at 25% of download.

    Edit 3: The message "failed to connect. Trying to reconnect"appeared, quickly followed by"the connection failed ". Guess I'll try again.
