Confusion of Adobe Application Manager of connection...

Hi, I was wondering if anyone can help.

I downloaded Indesign with Adobe Download Assistant at trial, but it asks me to log in with Adobe Application Manager to complete the installation - but my Adobe ID login (I have connected to successfully in order to start the download of the program) does not work...

How can I reset the connection of Adobe Application Manager?

(I work on a Mac)

This isn't ask your Adobe ID, but your computers administrator password.

  • Adobe Application Manager cannot connect :(

    Hi all

Maybe someone will help me support is not

I bought a new laptop running 64-bit Windows 8. Then I installed the following software to my creative cloud subscription:

_ Lightroom, up and running fine

_ Photoshop, installed in trial mode, as he could not connect, well, I thought it was a temporary bug and leave it in the trial.

I couldn't update my final test software such that he asked to connect to the internet and enter the Adobe ID.

After a long discussion with a technical support agent Adobe it me to Photoshop to uninstall and reinstall once more. 'Ideal' that I can't download now even Photoshop like Application Manager wonder Adobe ID at the beginning.

After another verry long discussion with little support technical agents the only think that they can say this is probalbly a problem of language (Polish) and gave me local contact supports the team in Poland.

I'll do it, but I'm sure that's not the source of the problem.

    For info:

I'm not on a protected network, just a router and a DSL modem, even directly connected to DSL AAM cannot find internet connection. Even on a different network in a different place.

Even with the firewall and antivirus off MAO doesn't work. There is nothing in hosts. I am borrowing the server licenses adobe as indicated by the agents.

So everything works fine only shit AAM find a way to find my internet connection.

Oh and for the final, a second computer connected to the same home network have the same creative cloud liscences running, updated and works well.

So if anyone has an idea of what I need to do to not sue Adobe for 3 days lost to seek the solution I'll be happy to read it here

    I just can't work.

    M.

Ufff it works! Technical support in Poland helped to get directions for a solution. Thank you!

    Now I explain how:

Probably a process in Windows 8 blocks Adobe Application Manager that cannot connect to the internet.

A quick solution is to create a new user account and install all software of this account, as the programs are shared you need not use all the days of the account.

It is a solution for a while as each month what MAO will try to connect and check if your license is still in place.

In the end, I have to check all the processes one by one and disable one who blocks the AAM, which will certainly take me a lot of time

But for now I have a working software... Finally...

How much money will I get Adobe for this tip for debugging? A discount will be welcome for 3 days lost here :/

  • Adobe Application Manager is unable to connect to Internet

    AAM internet error.jpg

This is the message I get whenever I'm trying to connect to Adobe Application Manager to save my Master CS6 Collection programs.

I already had my host files verified and they agree. I have a stable internet connect and my clock is correctly set to the correct time zone. And this isn't a problem user; I disconnected and used a temporary admin login and it still doesn't work.

If someone could help, it would be great.

And if anyone understands this, my previous case is 0187191111. This gave me by a customer service agent before I chatted who helped me before.

So I found the problem. I need to install the certificate because he was being interrogated by the computer. So I just install the certificate in the store he recommended him.

Now I am able to sign very well.

  • Adobe Application Manager Confusion

The first time I run the Cloud Creative CS6 Adobe Application Manager, he asks me to install applications. If after I have install an application, then quit MAO, then restart it, it checks the updates for the applications that are already installed. But I'm more able to install NEW applications with it. Where now do to install new applications, as opposed to updates. It confuses or I am.

To first download Adobe Application manager manually from the location:

    Mac: http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/thankyou.jsp?ftpID=4774&fileID= 4438

    Windows: http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/thankyou.jsp?ftpID=4773&fileID= 4437

Later if you still experience the problem. Rename Media_db, PDB and OOBE folder.

The path to the files above will be:

    1: OOBE

Windows: C > Program files or program (x 86) > common files > Adobe > OOBE and rename the folder in OOBE as (OOBEold).

Mac OS X: Macintosh HD > library > application support > Adobe > OOBE.

Note: The library will be hidden in the version of Mac OS X 10.7 and later you can access the hidden library IE root library by in the Finder, choose go > go to folder.

In the dialog box go to the folder, type ~/Library and click OK to access the hidden library.

    Media_db 2:location, the pdb files.

    Windows: C > Program files or program (x 86) > common files > Adobe > caps

Mac OS X: Macintosh HD > library > application support > Adobe > plugs.

After you rename OOBE, Media_db, pdb files perform the Application Manager that has been downloaded and if the problem persists then:

Create a new administrator account and restart the computer, and the journal back to the new admin account created, login to the account of CCm and then try it will work.

  • Error of Adobe Application Manager

    I have Adobe Lightroom 6 I bought in standalone version. I used it for several months and it worked fine. Now, when I go to open Lightroom (whether a catalog or the program shortcut), I get a dialog that reads;

Adobe Application Manager to start your trial, is missing or damaged.

Please download a new copy of Adobe Application Manager of

    http://www.Adobe.com/go/ApplicationManager

I have not downloaded this because I do not have a trial for Lightroom, I have the full version. Should I even when the application manager or how to fix this? Thank you

    Thanks Mohit

Actually, after I posted the question I had a different dialog box when I tried to open Lightroom asking me to connect. I signed up with my Adobe, ID but then it said my trial was expired. I did not have a trial - I have the full product, but I re entered it anyway with my serial number. My catalogs are still fine but all my presets disappeared and my preferences are reset. Lightroom now seems to work fine.

    Hey,.

    Here's my problem:

2 adobe Application Manager pops up saying that I have to disable the cloud on one of my other Macs to connect on it

    3. I choose the option to disable all other computers to connect to this system

4 adobe Application Manager crashes and I can't seem to open any application

I tried to uninstall the creative cloud together and that did not help a bit.

I also tried to rename the folder "OOBE" in/Users/USER/Library/Application Support / Adobe and Library/Application Support/Adobe and fixing the rights to these files, but nothing changes

    What can I do?

    Kind regards

Enable the Root account once end of confirmation and then try to launch the MAO and check.

OS X Mavericks: enable and disable the root user

(Applies to Yosemite / El capitan way)

How to connect to the Root account:

    1. If you connect from a list of names of users with pictures, click on the other.
    2. In the name field, type: root
    3. In the password field, type the password that you set when you configure the root user account.

  • I have Photoshop CS5 and when I try to launch it after recovering from a crash of the system, I get a popup telling me I have to use Adobe Application Manager.

I have Adobe Application Manager and he wants to give me Photoshop CS6.  I couldn't find a way around THIS so I let Application Manager download and install CS6.  Who wants to be activated but (understandably, I suppose) wants my serial number.  All I have is the number for CS5 so I guess that since I was more or less fed force CS6, that will be fine.  It is not the case.  I went to the Chat facility but told me that they support only the activation problems and/or installation, and since my CS5 (although not functional) is enabled in fact, it's on the forums.  Help?

I finally got things market so I thought that I would return at least to indicate what was necessary in case someone else is in a similar mess.

I had NOT reinstalled CS3 as the two guests and all indications here in the forum suggested that it would be enough just to enter the serial number for CS3.  As it happened in this case - probably because of the goulash that my system has been transformed an operating system crash and reinstall - which would not be good enough.

I reinstalled CS3 and launched so I'm the guest of serial number and has been able to do successfully 'Activé' (see the first picture below)

I wasn't able to get CS3 "registered" (see the second image), but the guest suggested javascript as suspects or internet access, and my presence here in the forum proves neither of those to be wrong. The failure of the connection indicates it may be trying to connect to a resource for activating long dormant CS3 (or dead) at Adobe?

I then restarted CS5 and once I gave my serial number, he was finally happy with any complaint of needing a product calling prior to the upgrade (see third picture)

  • Adobe Application Manager has changed to Adobe Creative cloud?

Hello. I LR6 and PSE13 x 64-bit standalone applications installed on my PC Win10 - earlier Adobe Application Manager himself upgraded to Adobe Creative cloud and put a shortcut on my desktop. I don't want any subscription can I just ignore it and not I connect to creative cloud (or even uninstall it, even if your pages help advise not to do the latter? If I then begins to each application and check for updates, I get the familiar Adobe Application Manager pop up, then why Adobe Creative Cloud installed? There as no mention of what happens before the update to Adobe Application Manager so I'm puzzled as to why I seem to be directed to the CC and, possibly, a subscription model - I am very pleased so far with my own versions thanks! Any light anyone can throw or reassurance that I'm not being forced to purchase a subscription when it is not wanted or needed would be much appreciated.

    Thanks in advance docdir

The Cloud Manager replaces the Application Manager.  I deleted it just for my own peace of mind.
