Connect button in the web content viewer.

Issue, within the web content viewer is there a way I can add the sign in button in the header, I noticed washingtonian has done this, and I searched everywhere and couldn't manage to find information about it.

I've provided the link for your reference.

http://www.Washingtonian.com/Tablet/index.php?WV=s%2FWashingtonian%2F0 5bd042e967b4b25a5e0942b4f879a5a%2FJuly_2013%2FCover.html

The "Sign In" feature in the web viewer is currently only available to DPS Enterprise Edition with active direct payment accounts and only allows access to the readers who have purchased subscriptions or questions directly from the Publisher (for example, not on the app store). This feature is not available in the Professional Edition accounts.

To enable the connection to the web viewer, you must provide the team DPS with the 'Integrator ID' and 'ID' of each production account where you want this feature is enabled. The DPS team will establish a preference in the back-end systems that display the Sign In link to these accounts, the next time the page is loaded by the web viewer. The best way to provide this information to the DPS team is through your Adobe representative or the customer service.

  • The web content viewer consumes well DPS downloads?

If you enable the social sharing through the web content viewer, each person sharing (or views) an article uses a download folio of your DPS account credit?

Each view consumes 1 / (number of items in your folio) a download. So if your folio has 10 articles, every article you read will consume 1/10th of a download. If your folio has 100 articles, every article you read will consume 1/100th of a download.

  • Collect data through HTML form using the Web content viewer?

I have a folio that is perceived through the content viewer Adobe, built with Digital Publishing Suite. I have a registration form where I'll need to collect responses from people and their contact information. I have a HTML file that I placed in InDesign, and rail shape. But how can we content submitted through sending form through my email? I need a PHP file as well?

If you create a form, for example, with action = "mailto:[email protected]" method = "POST" all elements inside the form entry will be enters the body of the message.

However, the disadvantage is that the user will have its own program by default mail which will open (focus) web viewer and try to send the mail + which is more annoying, is that data are in the post office, so that you can not use automatically.

a form to a php file action would be something more useful (and would also be an approach I would do).

  • Create a connection button on the discoverer more / Viewer homepage

    Hello world
I reinstall discoverer from scratch on my server and now it works fine!
In fact, I more the discoverer / Viewer Version 10.1.2.48.18, but inside the main page I don't see the button, create a connection , create once the connection I want to and do not write every time all the details of connection... I don't see the form to connect directly.

I searched on metalink... but I have not found how to add this button to create a connection

    Any help will be appreciated

    Alex

    Hi Alex
The option to create connections is available only if you have installed an application server hand full with a data base of infrastructure, thus allowing Portal, SSO, OID and so on.

If you have installed a discoverer stand-alone version, then you will get only the option to connect directly.

    Best wishes

  • Adobe for Web content viewer can display of only 1 article in a folio?

Suppose for example I ran Inspire magazine and had a folio called June 2015, can I create a link to an article within this folio using the web content viewer? Take the structure for example below.

    Inspire (App)

    -April 2015 (Folio)

    -May 2015 (Folio)

    -June 2015 (Folio)

    -Editorial (Article)

-Cover story (postto display on the Web page)

    -Interview featured (Article)

Can I have just a link to this article using the Adobe Web content viewer, or is the folio June 2015 the only thing I'm allowed to link on a web page? Thanks in advance for the help!

    Hi Chris,

Take a look at this article: Content Viewer web Embedding in your web page. Adobe Developer Connection

It describes the URL scheme to access a specific article:

    s////

    .html

    Does that answer your question?

    Thank you!

  • DPS scale content to insert the Web content is not resize on iPhone

I'm the re-use of content iPad in an iPhone with CC 2014 folio. Twitter is the Web content in a scrolling box which works fine on the iPad. I reduced the page to fit the size of the iPhone and with "Scale content to adapt" checked, the content fits on the Desktop Viewer. On the phone, Twitter content is too large for the box, because the scale to adapt content does not change the size of the content of the web. Is there anything else I need to do?

    Thank you

    Beth

I'm not an expert in this particular area so let's see if someone else can add to this, but if you followed Show Twitter content in DPS under the Twitter API news | Adobe Developer Connection, then your web content using a dedicated 'fixed' CSS to put in shape flow.

If you want to resize the content on the device, sure it's display, you probably need to questions from the media in the CSS to make sensitive.

  • How to create URLS to see my portfolio of web content viewer?

    Hello

I'm trying to create URLS to see my portfolio of web content viewer but nothing work

    I have this information:

    My applicationName

    my account ID

    my name of publication

and my articleName (even if for that I'm not sure)

All my items are free, my folio is published...

For more information my folio is in PDF format with a resolution of 1024 x 768

Do you have any idea why it's does not work?

    Thanks for your replies

Rather than tinker together the different parts of the URL, create an application of social development sharing enabled and at least one item set for release. When you share the folio published article, you will see your web viewer URL.

  • Cannot use the back button on the Web PDF pages

I Windows 7, Internet Explorer (IE) 11 and Adobe Reader DC, all day. Whenever I go to a PDF Web page by clicking on a link in the Google search results and then want to return to the search results page by clicking the back button on the browser, it will not go back. Page PDF just charging once again. This does not occur when I use my browser Google Chrome, when I use IE. It happens with every page PDF that I access from the Google search on Internet Explorer. What can I do to be able to use the back button on the Web PDF page?

Google made a diversion when you click on a search result. You can see if you right click on a such result and select Copy link location, and then paste. Is not the real address - the web site, but a link to a page of Google.com. So when you click on back after going to her, you can end up on the same redirect page, which automatically will then take you to its destination... Some browsers can handle this better than others, but it is not related to the PDF file you open.

  • Text of the article shows only not in the preview of the Adobe Content Viewer

    Hello

None of my article text shows preview Adobe Content Viewer. There is no missing fonts, I cut down all InCopy links and updating of the articles and the folio. Do I have to use certain types of OTF fonts? Or is it a setting I'm missing?

    Thank you!

  • Stuttering in the v22 content viewer

I came across an apparent oddity randomly in the essay on a viewer v22.

I have a several page article. The first page is a full screen MSO with two States - loops MSO and autoplays, but isn't swipable. Article is downloaded in PDF format.

When I slide up on my iPad 3, article stutters as I drag. A fast moving upward on the screen advances to the next page; but a typical sliding movement produces extended wriggles page.

In debugging - reduction in the size of ASM is smaller that full-screen has no effect... I get him even Wiggles. Interestingly, if I download the article as a JPG page does not wobble.

(I've reproduced the problem by creating a new article and a whole new folio as well)

Nor is the shimmy of page when I opened the PDF original folio in the publicly released v20 App.

This seems limited to the v22 Content Viewer PDF format.

    Hi Mike,.

I checked with one of our testers, and she has also seen this behavior. We have a logged bug, I hope we can solve this to v23.
