  Problem solved

  I asked this question because I was unable to see what was going on in the event viewer and I couldn't find help in mmc HTML Help. However, now I see what's happening and I can give you a solution to my own question.

  Cause

  If I connect to the computer as a user with administrator privileges, I am able to use the event viewer to create a custom view filter that can be used by all users who have access to the event viewer. If I fix remove a view filter custom Console tree, I can't delete it unless I'm logged in as the user who created it.

  Solution

  1. Log the computer as the user who created the custom view.
  2. Start Event Viewer
  3. Use the right-click of the mouse on a custom view filter selected in the Console tree, open the drop down menu.
  4. Delete appears fourth in the bottom of the menu if and only if you are logged on as the user who created this view.
  5. Select Remove to remove the filter to custom view.

  If Delete does not appear in the drop-down menu, then it may not possible you connect as the user who created the custom view.

  I have a report and I use 3 text fields and a selection list to search in a join of two tables. The selection list is composed of a "list of values" and the parameter is used in the SQL sentence, has a numerical value.
  
  Table of results after the join operation looks like this:
  Field1 Field2 Field3 Field4 (assuming that the field3 is used in the select list).
  21 has this NL 1000
  21 bis as 1001-vb
  33 so 1012 ct
  
  What I want to do is put another pair of the value of the parameter in the select list to let the user choose the "ALL" items mentioned in the selection list, so that the search returns all records without taking this select list-field into account.
  
  Is it possible to do it with SQL and LOV? Do I need other functions? or configurations?

  Hi user630478!

  I always use a selection with submit list and the option to get a NULL value for such things. To solve your problem do the following:

  1.) create two named LOVs. As you have already done and another for all values.
  2.) to submit your selection list must be configured to display a NULL value e.g. it shows EVERYTHING with the value 0.
  3.) create two conditional branches that work with your selection list. Which show normal results, if a user has clicked on a normal value and the second should act only if a user has clicked on the WHOLE.
  4.) write a process triggering the LOVs in your selection from one to the other list. This process should only be fired if the second conditional branch has been activated.

  As I understand it that's maybe what you want to know.

• How do you Format C drive when it is the system drive.

  I want to do a clean install of Windows 7.  The problem was obvious corruption in the boot sector.  It should be sometimes up to 1/2 hour of starting the system with a power indicator light flashes.  I did a reinstall of Windows 7, but the problem remains.  At first I thought it was a power supply problem.   But that was reduced to nothingness.   This computer is used for work only.  There are no other schedules.

  When reinstalling Windows it deleted the old files and put them in a folder named Windows.old.  So, apparently, is not wiping the drive clean.  I want to be able to wipe the drive and reinstall to a bare drive.  BTW, I also had the error message 0 x 80070005.

  I want to just start clean.  Resettlement of not not more than two or more previous versions of Windows 7.

  Once you accept the terms of the license at the beginning of the installation you will be presented with the screen "Type of installation", select "custom (Advanced) type and you then will be able to select the disk setup and presentation or remove existing partitions and create a new one for the new facility.  This short Youtube video explains well: How to Format and reinstall Windows
