Yesterday I was watching Housos, and suddenly my audio to cancel on my headphones,
I have out them to see what is going on and the speakers work perfectly.

so I try to mud autour with the cord as normally (the headphone is weird, only allows me to use the right side of the headset, no matter than the ones I use)

so I rebooted my laptop, used different headphones and tried to look around the audio sound/material.

Can someone help me please, I need to use right now and don't know what to do: L

    Hello

You said you used different headphones so I guess that it s not a malfunction of the headphones.
    Can you confirm this?

Usually the first check should be done in sign of-> sound-> the Read tab

After connecting the headset, with an additional inscription (helmet) should appear and you should be able to mark this as default device.

Where this is not possible, you should try something related to audio driver.
First go to Device Manager and expand the area called + sound and video games controller. +

You will find two entries. Remove it from the list.
Then go to devices of zone system. Search for high-definition Audio and delete also.
Now its time to restart the laptop.

When the system restarts, Windows OS would recognize deleted devices.
Wait that the devices have been recognized.
Then plug in the headphones and check if you can use it properly.

  • Pavilion DV4: Laptop plays sound through headphones but not by internal speakers

Audio was working fine on my laptop, when suddenly the laptop would not play sound with internal speakers.  If I plug in headphones sound is fine.  Execution of control panel of configuration/sounds shows 'Speakers and dual headphone - IDT High Definition Audio CODEC' enabled and set as the default device, as well as "independent double headphones" (enabled by default but not) and 'SPDIF (Digital Out via HP docking station)' disabled.  What can be wrong?

Cure the problem by uninstalling the CODEC driver, then restart Windows then reinstalled, and now things are ok again.

    Hello

I think that must be the PIN code while trying to connect the two devices.
If you will be asked to go through the code, you must put 0000 (4 x zero)
You can only connect a BT (portable) device that supports the A2DP (AV) features.

  • No sound from speakers and headphones, maybe not its output?

At least two weeks now, I tried to find a solution to my windows xp computer after having no sound. I don't think it's my codecs, drivers or the speakers that I have recently reinstalled my drivers and codecs and it may not be my speakers because I use headphones anyway. I used the utility of windows troubleshooting and solving audio problems. I used 13 common sound problems and they and it still does not work.

    Solution

The problem solved with a reset of the full power of the laptop.

Stop and remove the battery, probably outside during the night.

Connect the backup battery, turn on the laptop and and you should not get the noise as usual.

  • Headphones do not work on win XP

Hi, I can not my headphones to work more. I have a laptop with windows XP and they used to work, but since I got a new hard drive (installed by professionals) they have stopped working. When I plug in, the sound always comes from the speakers. I tried the sound tests I found in the control panel / sound and it works very well, for example, I can hear the sounds on my headphones. I tried to update the drivers and windows indicates that they are updated. I also put the earphones as a default value, but still nothing...

    Hi Justpurple,

    • Have you tested the headphones on both the plug on the laptop?
    • Have you tested the headphones on another computer?

Check and make sure that the headphones are not defective, the headphones on another computer to test.

Make sure that the headphones are not connected on the line (headphone) jack of your sound card or computer (unless you want to be listening with headphones rather than speakers).

If the headphones work correctly on the other computer and then run the troubleshooter of playback of the sounds from the link below and check if it helps.

Your office is frozen?   If not, stop or reboot can wait for something to finish - you close all open applications?   Allow you your system to connect to the internet (these pesky background downloads or you are not always aware of synchronization)

As for hard shutdown - with button / stop

Have you held in the power button for about 15 seconds to stop hard - otherwise he's asleep.

After unplugging - press and hold the power button in for 15 seconds to evacuate the power of mac - that can help.

Thank you very much. Would be a new instal OS solve these problems?

If you mean a new facility on a reformatted drive or a system recovery using recovery of the manufacture process, Yes, certainly, unless it's a hardware problem - but then you learn nothing about what caused the problem in the first place and so how do I prevent it from happening again.
    WRT your mistakes: -.
    1. nothing to worry about, as most of the machines do not have parallel ports today (unless yours does?)
    (2) it is difficult to talk about this, without more details-, but because they say "dependants", rather that "unload", it can probably be ignored.
    (3) it seems normal - I've seen a lot of PC with this error, and apparently nothing wrong. -It is important only if you are connected to a domain server
    (4) the service (I think) is a result of system crash, rather than a cause of the grip.

It seems that the cause of this will remain a mystery.
My earlier concern about SR doesn't work not just because of problems still standing stop - but back your data first, so that if the worst happens and you cannot start the system later, you can go to plan B.
As Lorien says, try a back system restore to before the problem started - although at 2 months, I would worry about the stability of the system later. Since you already said that you are willing to do a reinstall if necessary, give it a whirl :)

    Hey everybody,

I was with my Dell Inspiron 7559 this weekend and suddenly stop the audio of my helmet. I had no problems during the first month I got the laptop and audio still pregnant works very well. When I plug in the headphones the dialog box also don't watch not asking questions on the audio device connected to the port. I know the headset works on my phone, and I tried uninstalling the Realtek audio driver and using the native driver. Nothing seems to work. Someone at - it suggestions? I'm grateful for any help!

    Best,

    Cameron

    Hi mammothus,

    Thanks for posting.

Have you tried another set of headphones?  The 7559 decision-making is a composite, which means that the headphones and microphones can be inserted into the same taken.  So if your current headphones are not lining up with the plug, so they will not show.

Some customers have tried a different approach by purchasing one of these dividers, which seem to work pretty well, and they are inexpensive.

Please post back with your results.  Thank you.

    Kind regards
