Hello
The error "the network adapter could not establish the connection" comes usually when there is no network connectivity or if the listner is not configured properly.
Are you able to connect to the same server using the same information identification but out of ODI?
Thank you
Fati

Problem connecting to the Windows error reporting service
Whenever I try to check for solutions in the Windows 7 Action Center, I get the following error message: problem connecting to the Windows error reporting service. Some of the reports can not be uploaded to the Windows error reporting service. Please try again later.
This problem began to appear a few days ago, even if I did not any changes to my computer. I do not have any firewall (with the exception of the default Windows Firewall) and all my other programs work very well on the Internet.
Any ideas what could cause the problem?
Problem solved.
I actually had to purge all existing reports by using the disk cleanup utility.

Connection to the server error
Hi all!
I am trying to connect to an ESXi server with vCLI.
The run command is:
vicfg - nics.pl - Server < ESXserver > - list
I am invited as a user name a password.
Then the following error message is echoed:
Connection to the server error "https://< ESXserver >/sdk/webService ': maybe host isn't a vCenter or ESX server"
This occurs regardless of the order.
I have four 4.1u1-ESXi server. I patched this server this morning of 348481 to 381591. All orders of vCLI works fine on the other tree. They are all 348481.
vCLI version: 4.1.0 - 254719
I downloaded and reisntalled the newest vCLI I could find and still get the same error.
I can't navigate to https://< ESXserver > either. It works fine on other servers.
Any ideas?
You can test this host? Maybe you made a mistake when you configure the network settings on the esx host...

Thanks for the help in advance.(ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = TCP)(HOST=localhost.localdomain) (PORT = 1521))
Try to edit listener.ora by:
(ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = TCP) (HOST = HOST_NAME_OF_YOUR_DATABASE_MACHINE/OR TRY USING THE IP ADDRESS OF THE DATABASE SERVER MACHINE)(PORT=1521))
Just try to edit HOST = value line above. You must use HOST_NAME_OF_YOUR_DATABASE_MACHINE or IP OF the DATABASE SERVER MACHINE.Host name can be obtained by the hostname command on the database server.
With localhost, no one can connect to the database remotely.

get the "Connection to the MDEX error" error while trying to open the micro browser
Hello
I use short tools and Framework 3.1.0 and MDEX 6.3.0.
While trying to open the Workbench UI browser mic to create configurations of page template, I get message drop-down according to:
Connection to the MDEX error. The data service associated with this editor is not properly configured.
Please guide the if you have the slightest idea.
Thank you
Ben MilotI set up different RecordSpotlight editor to use a short instance successfully. What I did is to change apps\ [your app name]\config\editors_config\services\dataservice.json with search short configuration file updated, save the file and run apps\ [your app name]\control\set_editros_config.bat to apply the change.
To check, you can run apps\ [your order of name]\control\export_site.bat app to export the configuration of your site, updated data service configuration should manifest in the XML of the exported site.
It will be useful,

Unable to connect to the internet, error: default gateway is unavailable.
Original title: help
whenever I use my computer at some point I will get a message that I'm no longer connected to the internet, windows diagnostics will do its thing and fix it, but it keeps well back, he says my default gateway is unavailable. Thank you amber
Hi amber,
Let us work together to solve this problem.
Please answer these questions:
1. what is the accurate and complete error message that you receive?
2 what is the make and model of the computer?
3 you have any third-party antivirus installed on the computer?
If please try these methods and let us know the results:
Method 1: Reset WINSOCK TCP/IP IPv4 and IPv6 TCP/IP stack.
Follow these steps to know how to do:
a. press Windows + R keys on the desktop, to open the dialog box run.
b. type cmd and press ENTER to open the command prompt.
c. type these commands and press ENTER after each line:
netsh winsock reset catalog which resets the WINSOCK entries to
default values of the installation.
netsh int ipv4 reset reset.log that resets the TCP/IP IPv4
battery installation by default.
netsh int ipv6 reset Reset reset.log IPv6
Stack TCP/IP to default installation.d. restart the computer.
Please visit the following link:
How to reset the Protocol Internet (TCP/IP)
http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/299357?WA=wsignin1.0Method 2: Disable temporarily an antivirus installed on the computer and see if the problem is resolved.
Important note: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you need to disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network, while your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.
Please get back to us with the results and any other questions you may have about the Windows operating systems. We are happy to help you.
