  Here's what I've done, I've duplicated a workflow canned and have made adjustments in the workflow to automate an available to the virtual machine. the workflow that I duplicated is 'Create simple virtual machine', I kept all parameters with the exception of vmResourcePool. When I go to run the workflow, the error message above is displayed. I don't have pools of resources in my group, I have to have Pools of resources to provide for vco? I hope not. I wonder if there is something I will never forget in my workflow. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  The API we use in 'Create Simple Virtual Machine' - createVM_Task() - creates the virtual machine and attach it to a pool of resources, it requires a resource pool parameter.

  I also noticed after the fact that my hard drive is pointing to the most recent snapshot rather than to the parent.

  I think if I edit the .vmx file and change it so that it points to the parent would be the load, but then I will not lose the clichés?

  I like to keep at least the most recent roll in parent company snapshot.

  Hello!

  Thanks for the reply.  Unfortunately, a part of the problem is that the data store was running out of space.  If I didn't have space or time to try a clone.

  I did a reboot and after that has been able to update the CID to get the right string after I changed the hard drive to point to the base file, power, created a snapshot, turned off and pointed to the hard drive in the last snapshot.

  But there was a corrupt, one in the list since my VM corrupted after all the snapshots consolidated (+ 6 hours later).

  I didn't have a lot of time to continue to troubleshoot or try a clone on another virtual server, we have little space so I started from scratch.

  Fortunately, I discovered that my backups of the data have been very well, I so reinstalled Windows and started from scratch.

  Thanks for the suggestion though!

  Hope this helps someone else because I just watched as he went to work, and I don't know if a clone would have gotten it going or not.

  I just got a new computer with Windows XP Pro Service Pack 3.  I'm the only user & my 'Phil' user account has administrator privileges.  All of a sudden, when I open Windows Explorer, I see records of the tree (left) that I don't want.  I see the files that are on my desk, and other.

  Shared documents (from 'All Users', which is not on my desk)
  Documents of the administrator (which isn't on my desk)
  Several files that I keep on my desk
  In addition, I see "Logitech QuickCam Communicate STX", which is a program & should not be in the tree on the left side.

  I must have done something when I copied the folders & files from my old computer on my desk.  But I don't know what I did.  Is there a registry entry where I can hide or delete these folders to be seen on the left side of Windows Explorer.

  Don't know what to try.  I think it happened after that I have almost everything (files, shortcuts) copied from my old computer (also WinXP Pro) to my new from a backup, but I'm not sure.

  Thank you for taking the time to help. I have thousands of emails to gmail that I continue to delete. I have configured thunderbird for this e-mail account and it's sunchronized and up to the date. If I delete the mails in gmail now, I don't want have disappeared them from thunderbird. Basically, all the mails that I remove to the gmail trash and is it shouldn't be deleted from thunderbird.
