  • Windows 7 Build 7601, the copy of windows is not genuine. It has been true for about 3 years already.

Hello. A week ago, my phone displays a message saying that my Windows is not genuine. I bought the brand new laptop and I installed win7, it was all working fine so far. At first, I thought it was just a bug, so I tried to update, but the updates do not install. I saw in some discussion above to check under my laptop for a joint, but it disappeared and I can't read the number to legitimize my copy of Windows. It also displays a message in the lower right corner indicating "Windows 7 Build 7601, the copy of Windows is not genuine." This question annoys me because it slows down my laptop already slow, and I can't work normally like this. Help, please.

EDIT: I'm not sure how to find the Diagnostic report that is often required to determine the problem, so no instructions would be useful.
EDIT 2: I forgot to mention that I've scanned with 3 different anti-virus, I think they have removed all the malicious files, I had, which was maybe 2 files of average risk. Scanned with Norton, ESET and Kaspersky.

I bought a Lenovo T510 with Windows 7 Ultimate genuine pre installed on 03/20/11.  The product ID is 0426-OEM-8992662-00497. Ive been using it daily for over a year with all of the problems until this morning. When I turned on the laptop I received the message that my copy of windows 7 Ultimate can be false, even though I received an update of windows on 06/07/12 How is that? When I tried returning product key he still came the same. What I do, and how can I solve this problem?

    Your windows is not genuine.

The key of product in use is the infamous Lenovo OEM SLP key blacklisted. This key has been blacklisted before Windows 7 came out and has never been sold.
You will need to buy a full edition of genuine windows or return to windows, your computer comes with that.
  • Windows does not allow me to update the drivers for my Nexus 7 (USB port)

I'm having a problem connecting my Nexus 7 compressed (version 2013) to my desktop. I've successfully connected to my laptop. The two computers running Win 7 (64).

When I plug the USB cable in my office, says Windows is to install the device driver software. After a short interval, it pops up a message saying that the software has not been installed correctly.

So of course I went on Google Nexus web site and downloaded the latest version of the driver and unzipped the file.

I opened the Device Manager. The Nexus is not listed, but under "Portable devices", it a "MTP USB Device", which I think will turn out to be the Nexus.

I right click on this point, then "Update Driver Software", then "Browse my computer...". "and"Search for driver software in this place"(and of course, I've come to the place where my file downloaded and unpacked.

    Click "next".

INSTANTLY, I have "Windows has determined the driver software for your device is up to date. It seems there being no attempt to load the new driver. I maybe trying to load the drivers in the wrong place?

FWIW, I checked to see if there are group policies that would prevent Windows update drivers, but there is not. I'm not aware of the problems of updating all drivers.

I even tried to copy the drivers in my laptop, without success. When the Tablet is connected to my laptop (with success), it appears in device under portable devices-> Nexus management, but this does not happen on the desktop.

This who should I try next, please?

  • Reinstalling Windows XP not to proceed with the final stages of a few

I am doing a clean reinstall of Windows XP Edition family on a 80 GB hard drive in a Dell Dimension 3000.  I use a Dell CD labeled "Reinstalling Microsoft Windows XP Edition - SP2 - CD" family.  I chose to not to partition the disk and to the screen in the form, I chose the slowest option ("format the partition using the NTFS file system") to scan the disk for bad sectors.  The installation went well, through article 6.6 ("in the network settings screen, select Typical... step 4 in the present guide "):

    http://support.Dell.com/support/topics/global.aspx/support/KCS/document?&docid=DSN_179256&isLegacy=true#Issue4

and through the point 45 ("after a certain time Windows will finalize the installation... ") in this guide:

    http://xphelpandsupport.mvps.org/how_do_i_install_windows_xp.htm .

I wasn't paying attention, but I guess the next step, mentioned in the two guides, reboot, occurred in fact since I am now at a desktop computer with a background image familiar XP ('Bliss' of display properties - Desktop).  The Start button is in the lower left corner, and the time is in the lower right corner.  Recycling Bin icon is on the desktop.  I can click on start and show the menu start and navigate toward and beyond the Panel, for example.  Windows Explorer is functional.  All text and icons are larger than they should be.  The last step to occur, I think, was the dialog box came the display settings.  I clicked 'Yes' for Windows 'automatically fix the screen resolution and color depth settings.  Nothing noticeable has happened, and here I sit.  I don't remember see the Welcome to Microsoft Windows screen.  I've seen certainly not screen turn on the firewall, or the activation screen or the screen "How this computer connect to the internet".  Is it possible to get the installation to resume from that point?  I hope that it is not necessary to return to the beginning, but if this is the case, I should start by booting from the reinstallation CD in Windows Setup, or should I wipe all this without success install and start with a clean disk?  Thanks in advance for any help and for this long post by reading.

Vista and Windows 7 updated drivers love then here's how update the most important.

This is my generic how updates of appropriate driver:

This utility, it is easy see which versions are loaded:

-Free - DriverView utility displays the list of all device drivers currently loaded on your system.
For each driver in the list, additional useful information is displayed: load address of the driver,
Description, version, product name, company that created the driver and more.
    http://www.NirSoft.NET/utils/DriverView.html

For drivers, visit manufacturer of emergency system and of the manufacturer of the device that are the most common.
Control Panel - device - Graphics Manager - note the brand and complete model
your video card - double - tab of the driver - write version information. Now, click on update
Driver (this can do nothing as MS is far behind the certification of drivers) - then right-click.
Uninstall - REBOOT it will refresh the driver stack.

Repeat this for network - card (NIC), Wifi network, sound, mouse, and keyboard if 3rd party
with their own software and drivers and all other main drivers that you have.

Now in the system manufacturer (Dell, HP, Toshiba as examples) site (in a restaurant), peripheral
Site of the manufacturer (Realtek, Intel, Nvidia, ATI, for example) and get their latest versions. (Look for
BIOS, Chipset and software updates on the site of the manufacturer of the system here.)

Download - SAVE - go to where you put them - right click - RUN AD ADMIN - REBOOT after
    each installation.

Always check in the Device Manager - drivers tab to be sure the version you actually install
presents itself. This is because some restore drivers before the most recent is installed (sound card drivers
in particular that) so to install a driver - reboot - check that it is installed and repeat as
    necessary.

Repeat to the manufacturers - BTW in the DO NOT RUN THEIR SCANNER device - check
    manually by model.

Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.

  • Windows does not start correctly when some multiple connection for external hard drive USB hubs are connected

When starting, I have 2 USB hubs that connect to multiple external HD.

If I disconnect the hubs, windows always starts very well.

If I connect the HUB, windows delayed considerably the boot (approximately 5 to 10 minutes) and sometimes restarts the PC before getting to the screen of windows login, and after that the Windows logo is displayed during the start-up phase.

Some HD sometimes take to start I hear but why Windows is restarted and all simply just do not excluding the HD or hubs does not not as expected?

    Any clue?

    Hello Patrick,.

If other devices are working well, then clearly the USB ports have gone very well. I would say more that likely you have two defective USB Hub (it happens, I have several other defective in my junk mail boxes!).

Given that the hubs are relatively expensive, I suggest you replace the two hubs with more heavy duty those able to withstand the high external HARD disk requirements. Try Newegg.com and TigerDirect.com, sort by best rating.

The other thing, you don't mention if your hubs / ports are ports USB 3.0 and if you use a card like the adapter link. These configurations can sometimes cause problems, and it might be useful to re - check the different connections.

    Keep me posted.

And thanks a lot for this.

I had put my storage system for a little while, now still use it once I have to improve everything that I think that's it at one point, now I got problems, watch videos of any source with continuous buffering, stop and start the content. I had posted a question on this topic and got the answer, not finished it yet, it error C0000135 envolved. Is it possiable that they are all connected to C0000135?

    Hello Stephen,

1 is this problem limited only by working with Windows Media Center?

    2. are you C0000135 error code of Windows Media Center?

    3. do you get an error message?

Note: Before going any further I recommend to transfer the files to a secure location on the computer.
This will remove also all your recordings programmed, so you'll have to re - schedule them.

Method 1. Rename the ehome folder.
    a. right-click on "computer" and select "Manage".
    b. under "Services and Applications", you will see 'Services' Open 'Services' and stop "Windows Media Center Scheduler Service" and "Windows Media Center Receiver Service".
    d. rename the directory "C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\eHome.
    e. start the service "Windows Media Center Service Launcher" (this will start two other services properly).

    Hi Ivoman,

Keep looking with the methods described in the answer above is one you have found probably only

Update your NETWORK and WiFI card drivers could help as well. Manually review system manufacturer and device
