You can try to climb the PIm.getInstance () to BlackBerryContactList instead of the contact list.

You may need to change the AddressBookArguments.ARG_COMPOSE of AddressBookArguments. ARG_NEW.

the keyboard does not have to return the system to the standby mode

Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit system.

The fundamental problem is that, after working properly for more than a year and a half, this Win7 machine suddenly stopped enlightenment of the mode before using the keyboard a few months ago. It still immediately responds to a mouse click, then dysfunction of the keyboard was only a minor inconvenience. The keyboard is equipped with a PS/2 connector, the mouse uses a USB port.

However, several times lately the keyboard did not return after the awakening of the system; It is a biggest drawback. Each of these three times the keyboard had returned to normal after a reboot of the operating system, using the mouse to manipulate the Start Menu. I noticed nothing otherwise askew with the keyboard at any time, which suggests that this is not a problem with hardware keyboard. I would like to know how to get the system back to normal.

I don't know if the following is relevant, but it is similar:
There is a card audio semi professional, with its own control panel software, installed in the computer. With the exception of the occasional limited testing, I do no audio recording here, but I often work on audio recordings downloaded from other sources. Thus, the audio card is really only reading used mode.

A few months ago a question arose on the settings of the control panel to monitor a recording against existing tracks. Under Win7, the map control panel is configured differently that in previous versions of Windows, if the answer was not immediately obvious.

I worked on the necessary configuration changes in Control Panel of the card as a test to determine how this follow-up. I may also changed some settings in the console Windows, but I'm not sure. Unfortunately, unlike in versions previous OS, the Windows mixer table affect use of the sound card and it is possible that I got all inputs muted in the Windows mixer as a general precaution.

Put the system into "sleep" (in the Start Menu) is done several times during my normal day. After running these tests of control, I found that the card does not work after that system was return of the mode 'sleep'. Immediately after the trials I reset control panel of the sound card for my normal use. All seems OK for audio operation was normal except after public awareness of Sleep Mode.

Audio playback seemed normal in all applications. Programs appear to progress successfully through a recording during playback. I could not find any audio settings that seem to not correct. The Device Manager said that the card was working properly. Restart the normal audio returned BONE, as it does now (most of the time) for the keyboard.

I played with things for two or three weeks. I've posted questions on some audio related forums, but no suggestion had no effect. Finally, I was ready to uninstall the card its and its drivers, then reinstall, when I remembered on the System Restore Points.

I found there was a generated system restore point made a few hours before I did my test of the monitor-the-new-record. I used the restore point and the audio card to return to normal, the awakening with the rest of the system.

The only thing I could say to be uninstalled by the restoration of the system has a few updates of Microsoft Security Essentials. I immediately did a manual update of that, to ensure it would not be any effect on the audio. Audio worked properly since registration, including, but I have not retested monitoring check against existing tracks.

It was shortly after the keyboard problem has started. In this case I don't know what it is changed on the computer that could have led to the problem, but it seems not unlikely that some settings in the registry system is again wrong.

If you have similar issues using internal and external keyboard, then I recommend you to run a recovery process that would fix the laptop back to factory settings.

After this check, if your BIOS is up to date.

Try using another browser (Google Chrome / Firefox) for a test to see if the keyboard problem still occurs. If it is not then the issue could be a problem with Internet Explorer. What version you have installed? (IE6/IE7 or IE8)

The same thing happens when you type in a document when you use Microsoft Word or Open Office?

I have recently encountered problems with my keyboard and touchpad. But first I turn to the most pressing is the keyboard problem. Sometimes, when I booted my computer a few keys alphabet such as r, o, m (seemingly random keys) do not respond. This problem started with my arrow keys but since moved other keys. I tried to reset my PC that did not help much, so I uninstalled the keyboard driver via the thinking Device Manager I easily find a nd downlaoad and install new drivers from HP support or elsewhere. So the problem, I could not find the drivers for my computer, I searched for the last 2 days and I am always unsuccessful and very frustrated, I can't use my keyboard and now I do all my typing via the on screen keyboard, very taxing to say the least. Windows Update, it is a week downloaded Microsoft Mouse and keyboard Center. Apparently it did not install correctly on Windows 7. Messages of two windows now pop up when you start. They are the exact same messages one above the other which must be clicked off the coast. Here's the exact message:

"There is a problem with the installation of the mouse and keyboard software Center. To resolve this problem, you must remove the mouse and keyboard software from the Center, and then rerun the implementation of centre of keyboard and mouse. For more information on the point to add or remove a program see Windows Help. »

Message meaning, but the action of removing the software is not possible. In the list of programs highlight Microsoft Mouse and keyboard software Center and you receive only one choice. This choice is Uninstall, with no choice of repair . Microsoft is lazy, or finally reached being just plain stupid. When you click the installation here is the screen that opens:

"Setup cannot continue because one or more of the required installation files are missing or corrupted. Rerun Setup from the CD-ROM of the software or any other facility reliable source. »

If you cannot uninstall or repair the screwed version, then when you try to re - install, it won't let you move forward, and stipulates that you already have the software installed and it will not properly work, or will not uninstall or repair it properly. You're essentially stuck between the hammer and the anvil. I don't want these two double messages showing when I start my computer.

For some strange reason, I think that this software is not properly tested to work on Windows 7. I never install driver updates provided in Windows Update, but my wife has checked the box as an optional update. Big mistake!

I, too, have the same problem as Mr. Butler, w2 further complications:

(1) assuming that it was a Win Update that caused the problem, I went to system restore to restore to an earlier time and was shocked to find that, even if my Protection system is activated, it was never a restore point created.
(2) in addition to this annoying pop-up message, I have now lost everything except text in all my applications (Word, Publisher, etc.) and my browsers. No display no graphics.

Problems with the help of the keyboard of the computer.

Hi all

Before anyone asks, I checked on several threadS already existing and followed the advice here, and nothing has worked. I'll briefly explain what these were, but first, let me describe the problem. NB. my knowledge of the correct computer terminology is limited, but I tried to explain it all my best.

S key

AS you can probably until my S button works, but unless shift caps lock is enabled it will profit from "95% of the time. Surprisingly, it didn't when I typed in ' then comes. After restarting my computer, it won't happen because on the first 2 - 5 times, I press the of ', and then stops, past at random during anything I type. Also, if I'm holding down SHIFT and pressing on the ' key, nothing will come on the screen. Finally, sometimes by pressing on the ' key will lead to nothing on the screen.

NumLock key

Another problem is that whenever I have a browser open and press the NumLock key, it works as if I am pressing F11 and makes the screen go full-size.

SHIFT key

When I go to capitalize some letters - including, possibly not exhaustive w, z and x - by holding down the SHIFT key, nothing letter will appear on the screen.

Keys combined

A number of keys, for example 0 key, hyphen, equalS, hooks and back SlaSh is combined to make the following respectively:
- 0 (zero)
- ---] (dash)
- 0 = (equal)
- [------(Hook)]
- ---] (Crochet)
- # (back SlaSh)
It of extremely frustrating and makes extremely tedious typing assignments.

No secondary function for key 2

If I want to use a double apostrophe or the at sign, I have to change the input language to either Americans or the British, press SHIFT and use the apostrophe key. Pressing SHIFT and 2 key results in nothing.

Attempted SolutionS

These problems have persisted for about a week now, and I've tried a number of things, such as MS FixIt (which found no errors) running, run a clean boot and uninstall a reinstallation of the keyboard. I use a laptop Acer ASpire 5253 G model and have Norton 360 installed, active and ran several ScanS. So far, nothing has worked, and I'm not sure what to do. I doubt also that it is a material also issues, as all affected keys work though having some with impaired or deffective operation or the problem is not present all the time (as with the s key).

If someone could offer some SolutionS, that would be greatly appreciated.

Satellite A660-133 - Vibrations when I use the keyboard or a touchpad

I have a Satellite A660-133, when I use the keyboard or the touchpad I can hear a lot of vibration from the stop of the laptop. I think that this is not normal, but actually the same model showed in the shop does the same thing. What do you think about this?

I m not Satellite A660 owner, but a friend told a. He never spoke to me such a problem expect that s a great notebook with powerful hardware and he likes the design. I agree with him that s a great notebook from Toshiba!

Anyway, if you think that it of not normal, you need to contact a service provider authorized in your country. Guys can check this problem and maybe you need a new keyboard, but this can be exchanged under warranty.

I get the error "this operation requires an interactive window station" during the installation driver for a new (working) Microsoft Wired Keyboard 600. I tried to disable my Avast! anti-virus program entirely to restart my system in selective mode with only Windows running programs to install the keyboard. None worked.

The selective mode does not work. And Device Manager shows the device with the yellow triangle icon. With the code 28 error. "This operation requires an interactive window station.

I'm using Windows Vista Home Premium (32 bit)

Also the comfort curve keyboard 2000 from Microsoft that was previously used with this system can no longer install into any usb port. It only works in the USB port it was previously installed. IM happy that I can still use this keyboard, otherwise I would be even more crazy. Usually, I am not asking these questions, I'm the guy 'tech' at home, and I tried all possible options. This topic made me rage a little, because: Microsoft Keyboard on a Microsoft Windows computer does not work. I mean, what the hell.
