Contact of Smartphones old BB curve blackBerry alerts

Can someone tell me if it is possible to port on the 'Contact alerts' my BB curve to my new BB torch?  The torch has not nearly the selection as my curve doesn't have, nor that I used for all my Contacts.  Thanks in advance for any help!

Were ringtones the stock ones on the curve or you downloaded them?

I found this stock ones (easy to watch)

http://forums.CrackBerry.com/F209/how-get-standard-5-0-ringtones-9800-a-512846/

I suggest you put on your space of storage internal (rather than the press card) - copy them to:
Home/users/ringtones /.

There is some restriction on the phone that keeps me change features, formats code or firewall. Hello and welcome to the community!

If there is a latent policy, there is only one way to remove it... and while I can't tell exactly what you hear of "hard reboot", this probably isn't the appropriate method. To check, however, see this:

    • KB30076 How to check for an it on a BlackBerry smartphone policy

And, even if it seems to result in a negative, there is perhaps a COMPUTER policy on board... 'stealth' rare, but they exist. To clean, you must do:

Of course, remember to take a backup before and after restore... but do not make big. One of the saved databases contains policy COMPUTER and, if you restore that, you'll be right where you started. On the contrary, only backup/restore these specific databases that need you, specifically avoiding those that relate to politics. You can find a complete set of instructions in the thread linked to my auto-sig on this post.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones new BB Curve and I now have to re-invite almost 1000 of my BB Contacts. Can I physically go BB and NOT re-invite?

My old BB curve became defective and it was replaced by a new BB Curve. Everything is OK, except for my BBM Chats and Contacts. All my cats are gone, but even worse, I must now re-guest more than 1000 contacts. First of all it is the correct behavior of the BB Desktop backup procedure? Can I do SOMETHING about my contacts? All my contacts have been restored, but I tried to communicate with them, by BB, I am told that the person in question (the contact I am tryining to connect with) DO NOT HAVE ME AS A CONTACT. I want TO re-invite the contact?

As I said, I have more than 1000 contacts and it's very embarrassing to be re-guest by each of them.

Thank you for your support. Bob

Thank you all for your support. My BBM contacts became fully operational further. Thanks again. Bob

  • Transfer contacts from blackBerry Smartphones to a Curve 8330 on a BES.

    Hi all

I am a newbie to BB but recently received for the work.  My problem is trying to transfer the contacts from my old cell phone (Sanyo SCP-7050) on my new Curve 8330.  I took it to my local Sprint store, and they said that contacts can be transferred because the BB was registered on a BES.  The Bluetooth connection no longer works, I guess for the same reason.

I don't have a chance, or there at - it another way, I can enter my BB contacts?  I have contacts stored as individual card (.vcf) and was hoping there is a way to use the micro SD card to load them on somehow.

Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you

Hi and welcome to the Forums!

Since you're on BES, why don't you just DL your vcf to your PC and import them into Outlook? Then BES will be responsible to your BB.

Good luck and let us know!

  • Contacts for editing and synchronization to blackBerry Smartphones

Hi, one made an absolute mess of sync my contacts with Outlook. First I had to change the simm card then I downloaded contacts from my old sim to my BB until the Sim Card has been cancelled. I'm now working with the new SIM card.  I connected up to BB Desktop Manager and tried to sync the contacts in a two-way synchronization between BB and Outlook. The result on my BB is a disaster. I have up to 4 different entries for the same contact. EG email address is an entry, home phone another entry, mobile another entry etc etc.

Is there a way I can easily get the file, say in excel format, so you can modify and merge contacts using my pc and then import the file corrected on my BB?

    Thanks for your help

    The curve 9320 software = 7.1 Bundle 1319 (v7.1.0.398, platform 9.49.0.31)

    Hello

Use of the SIM card which was the original error. The SIM directory is much less robust than the BB or Outlook address book. The SIM directory can have only a 1:1 correlation between the entry and the data... so if you have a name with 3 numbers, the SIM directory ends with three entries total, all with the same name. Therefore, using the directory SIM is not advisable for any purpose whatsoever.

What I would recommend you to do, is to use Outlook to clean your data... in this way, you work in a familiar interface and can get things you like. If it's too tedious, you can analyze the export to CSV from Outlook, editing in Excel and then import back into Outlook.

In any case I recommend the abandonment of your address book of BB... Once you have cleaned the PC data, erase the data on the BB and do a one-way synchronization to the BB with data now purified on the PC of the time.

    Good luck!

  • Copy of list of contacts of Smartphones Nokia blackBerry again BBBold

Is anyone know how can I copy/transfer a vast list of contacts from my old Nokia N70 to my new BlackBerry "BOLD"?

    You have installed PC Suite?

You must export all contacts in a file whose extension is .cvs

and when you have the file, you must open Outlook and import the complete file

How many contacts you have?, because if there are not too much, you can copy all the contacts on the sim card in Nokia phone and change the SIM to Blackberry and copy contacts from the sim card

  • Ringtones of transfer of Torch 9810 curve blackBerry Smartphones

I have successfully transferred my contacts and calendars of my curve for my Torch 9810 using BB Desktop, but can't as my ringtones.  Is there a way to do it with BB Desktop or any other means?

OK, I've figured this out.  I plugged the computer with the USB of the curve and said that it connects as a storage mass, then copied the ringtone files.  I then connected the torch as a USB device and copied the toens to the "ringtones" folder and they work fine.

How to play an old Command & Conquer - Red Alert Win95 version on the current system

    Hi PhillipBunting,

1 Windows operating system you are using?

If you are using Windows 7, you can consult the following link to check the compatibility of the game.

Command & Conquer - Red Alert compatibility

You can try to try to run the game in Windows 95 compatibility mode, and check if that helps. Execution of convenience store compatibility is just a workaround solution, if this does not help, you might need go to the new version of the game.

  • BlackBerry smartphones can not connect BlackBerry Pearl 9105 for PC

    Hello world

    I have the following problem:

After using my BB Pearl 9105 for almost 3 years, I can not connect to PC more (I still menu with choice of 3 options on my smartphone when I connect, but when I click on that option "usb" or "charge", the menu appears again).

In addition, the PC does not recognize my smartphone as a usb device. Updated BlackBerry Desktop Software and the purchase of the new Micro-USB cable did not help.

    I can still load.

Could anyone suggest me how to solve this problem?

In addition, make sure you use only the root USB ports... without hubs (sometimes the front-end ports are hubs... use a rear USB port). And don't forget to try to disable the USB power management in the configuration of your system (Device Manager).

Check also on the incompatible software... it was reported that NTI Shadow Ninja & software can cause a conflict; Remove and reinstall the desktop software BB allows to install correctly.

My apologies in advance if this is redundant - there is no way to be sure that if you have already seen and tried these. Also apologies if all are not currently available... RIM takes their monte and descends at will as they revise things.

I hope that something it is useful!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones add a second blackberry e-mail

Hello. I just got a new blackberry 9300 and set up a new blackberry email. Is it possible to get my old e-mail blackberry on this phone as well?

Since it's your mobile operator who controls which, I have no way of telling for sure 100%. But generally, this is actually the case. Indeed, in my experience, there is no need of these addresses - the BB can integrate almost any e-mail account connected to the internet, so as a special for the BB itself has always seemed superfluous to me.
