Copy of list of contacts of Smartphones Nokia blackBerry again BBBold

Is anyone know how can I copy/transfer a vast list of contacts from my old Nokia N70 to my new BlackBerry "BOLD"?

You have installed PC Suite?

You must export all contacts in a file whose extension is .cvs

and when you have the file, you must open Outlook and import the complete file

How many contacts you have?, because if there are not too much, you can copy all the contacts on the sim card in Nokia phone and change the SIM to Blackberry and copy contacts from the sim card

with the use of the Desktop Manager, you can make a selective backup and restore

Make a backup of your device first, using Desktop Manager > backup. Close at the end Office Manager and disconnect it from BlackBerry. Get DM here http://us.blackberry.com/apps-software/desktop/

restore from upward. Follow this KB if necessary http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB10339

  • Contact of Smartphones Corrupt blackBerry causing problems with the rest of the contact list

    Hello
Tried to use the search, but I got nothing helped.

I have a corrupted contact that I can not remove or change. This contact is about 25 in my list of 567 and accordingly, all the apps that need to access the list of contacts do not work, as they cannot read beyond this corrupted contact. Vlingo Yes, WhatsApp, etc.. Do not work properly.

Someone has an idea of what I can do to fix this?

Well, problem solved, with the help of the @blackberryhelp team. The team has accompanied me through a fresh re-installation of DM, which allowed me to finally sync with Outlook. However, what really solves the problem has roll me back pour.337 that magically gave me back my contacts. I then wiped the device (after saving everything, of course) and re-installed. 448 and PRESTO! all my contacts were there and accessible to the operating system once more. Long and frustrating road, but at least with a satisfactory ending.

  • Contact of Smartphones Block blackBerry? Anyway?

Is there a way I can block a contact on my phone to stop the SMS or call? Because that person is really irritating me! to it to stop annoying me asking but it won't go away! In any case I can block?

    Thank you.

    Hello

What I did to make this contact out of my address book and check the box that says "except a message of" Contacts!  That is what... You are only able to receive texts from people in your contacts.  So if so-and-so mind with texts, just take out your contacts.  Is what is strange, he asks specific addresses... but do not give you space or the option to put them there.

I did the method of John Doe and it worked for me

    * Update * I think I knew how to do a specific address!  Where it is written "specific address" press the menu button and choose 'configure the exception' > new menu button and choose 'Add a phone number' try that!  See if it works

  • Contacts transfer Smartphones BB blackBerry to the computer at home

Hi - I have a new Blackberry Curve 8900, which is loaded with contacts. I backed up the files on the handheld PC via Desktop Manager 4.7.

How can I read/use the Contacts on my PC at home? Can I open the file with DM4.7? If not can I fill out an address book in Outlook Express? I don't want to "sync" my address book Outlook Express this with BB contacts. I wish I had the contacts of BB as a stand-alone resource on my PC. I think that I could create a new (empty) address book in Outlook Express, but I can't understand how to transfer from your cell phone to the PC.

Thank you for any light on this question.

    -Frank

Frank, Hello and welcome to the Forums of Support BlackBerry.com.

Yes, you can use Outlook Express (and I'm not very familiar with OE), but yes as you can.

Understand how to create the second profile of OE, as in OE.

Then using BlackBerry Desktop Manager, click SYNC and open it. In the clock > configuration you can find options to set the program in which the sync function connects... together this and you will be ready to go.

  • Synchronization of Contacts of Smartphones from blackBerry, but no timetable

I'm trying to sync Outlook with my BB calendar.  My Contacts from Outlook synchronization works very well, but nothing for the calendar.  I went back to the Desktop Manager and removed from the database of device like suggests one of the posts earlier, but now I have no entry on my BB calendar, but still without success on the synchronization.  The only thing that I see, it's that when I setup for the calendar in the Desktop Manager on the Outlook user profiles tab. It does not show the various calendars that I receive under Calendar Options on my BB. I rechecked the Desktop Manager settings, and it is set for a two-way synchronization for calendar.  I use DM v4.6 If that makes a difference.

    Hello

First have you installed the Manager of office with full administrator rights?

On Outlook 2007 are all connectors running?

In the Desktop Manager when configure you the synchronisation Wizard, the device is assumed.

If you configure OUTLOOK access points you want to synchronize. Thus, for example

you select the calendar of the installation, the following screen shows outlook yahoo etc.

You want the perspective. The timing of the device is not mentioned.

You have already deleted the calendar of the device, so we can proceed from here.

Return to the Configuration Wizard / Configuration calendar only, ONE WAY TO DEVICE.

for all appointments, past and future select at least after that date and 365 365 before.

On the BB, go to default SERVICES/The OPTIONS/DEFAULT OPTIONS / ADVANCE CICAL (calendar)

and CMIME (electronic mail) must be your primary e-mail address. Once it's settled.

Synchronize Outlook for the calendar of the device. You should have all the appointments on the BB.

Don't forget to go back can install 3 WAY sync for all entries in the installation wizard. To test, add - WE

appointment in Outlook, and the other on the BB on different days, try the sync and make sure that the two new elements

are synchronized. (Personally I always install DM so that all adds and deletes I have very well.) This keeps all the problems

    manageable)

    Thank you

  • Contacts blackBerry Smartphones Nokia and Motorola conversion in Blackberry contacts

I got a deal of my new carrier for two new BlackBerry for the price of a more expensive. So I got a 9700 "BOLD", then my wife receives a Pearl 9100. Now, previously, we used two different phones, she was using a Nokia 3500C (GSM), while I was using a Motorola KRZR K1M CDMA (). I tried port both of our lists of contacts from phone above.

First, I tried to copy the contacts to my wife in the Nokia SIM card. I then put the SIM card in its new BB, and it would not read the SIM card. I guess that's because BB is locked to a specific carrier. My carrier unlock our phones until we've been with them 3 months, that use me at the moment.

Then I simply imported contacts into our PC with Nokia Software and then saved your contacts file to *. CSV format. I also did the same thing on my Motorola, with the Motorola software and also recorded one *. CSV file. When I tried to read the two contacts in the Blackberry Desktop Manager, he returned with an error:

Error has occurred. Error code: 0 x 80040057.

    See the documentation.

I think it has something to do with some of the fields that exist in a phone but not the other. I would have thought that their Intellisync software would know how to take care of this? It's the exact message even if I don't speak of contacts from the old phone to Motorola or the old Nokia phone.

Same thing when I try to import the calendar entries too.

This KB, provides a sample CSV (bottom of the KB, a link)... This might be useful in your quest.

Hmmm... It's confusing... "recreating the e-mail address? You mean the e-mail account? I'm not sure that I understand your question and so all I can do is guess again... and I'm going to guess that the KB above is also, for that matter.

  • BlackBerry smartphones help me restore my list of Contact BBM BB 8520 (curve 2)

Hi, just the recent I sync my Blackberry to my contact yahoomail account, since then have not seen my list of Contact of BB; its asking me to restore it through 3 options: pls, guide me now I need your leader perfect & sincere, I don't want to lose these contacts. The options are
1: restore by using the e-mail
2: restore using a backup of the device file
3: restore by using a backup file of media card
But pls I did nothing as back up front, pls, what can I do? I need your quick practical tips. Thank you very much

What is your list of contacts for BBM?  If you have registered your email with BBM on a prior device, then using your address e-mail should bring back your contacts.  If you made a backup on your press card or device of BBM, then you can use this method.  If this isn't the case, then you must restore from a previous backup made with the Software Desktop BBM.  If you don't have those, then you can be out of luck.

The latest versions of BBM surveys use BBID to backup contacts and it is all automatic.  Make sure that the device has the latest version of installed BBM.

  • LIST of CONTACTS blackBerry Smartphones

I tried to add contacts to my contact list. After I added one, I press 'save', then it goes to my list of contacts and says "no contacts". What I am doing wrong?

Looks like a filter can be activated. Address book, click the wheel and go to filter. Clear all that is checked. If none of your contacts are associated with a filter, it's probably why you didn't see anything in the address book
