  Hello

  I'm having a problem with my iPhone 5 after the last update. When I touch the icon 'more' in contacts to ad a new the contacts app one breaks down (disappears) and I see my home screen. The same phenomenon occurs when I try to put a number on the keyboard then hit add to the left of the number. I couldn't find any workaround to add a contact.

  Everyone knows about this problem? Any known fix?

  Try a forced reboot. Hold down the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons at the same time for about 15 seconds, until the Apple logo appears. You won't lose anything.

• Permissions contacts problems

  Hi guys,.

  I've been putting upward with it for some time, but as a result of not being able to remedy, I am tender hand to the community.

  After El Capitan have reinstalled several times, I get the same problem again and again in the 2 accounts, that I have the installer on my iMac - I am unable to make any changes to my Contacts. When I try to insert a new contact, change an address, add a phone number or e-mail to an existing contact, etc., he seems to accept that the window is open, and then when I quit the app and reopen to check, the news update is missing. Same thing happens if I try to change the domain names (ie: 'home' to 'John' for example).

  I can add / edit on my iPhone (6 - last IOS), but even if the two devices are connected to iCloud on the same account, the iMac is not up-to-date.

  The problem seems to be that the Contacts app itself on the iMac has locked me (& account iCloud?) outside.

  

  If I try to change the permissions, I can unlock the padlock of apps, but as soon as I try to make changes I get...

  

  • I am an administrator of two accounts: Yes

  I'm usinng of Russian language on a phone.

  There is a problem after that I made a reservation to copy on my previous Z Xperia, then tried to trasfer the data of my new Xperia Z2.

  Everything was ok, except for contacts: instead of cyrilliennes letters it shows hieroglyphics, so I can't make and compare contacts.

  Contacts in English - are still ok.

  Who can help?

• Windows Live Mail Contacts problem...

  I could use some help.  : )

  Background: I installed Windows Live Mail on your laptop Windows 8.1.  Apparently somewhere during the process of adding additional e-mail accounts - Gmail account more specifically he asked do you want to include contacts.  I said yes!  Error!  It resulted in each contact showing 2 times on my Windows 7 laptop running Windows Live.

  Question: I have now each contact in my list of contacts twice.  It says 'address book' under the name and can be edited.  The other has no indication, and my best guess is that it's the Gmail account contact.

  That's what I see on laptops respective...  1.) 8.1 portable Windows - people shows only 1 time contact.  (2.) for laptop Windows 7 - Windows Live shows each 2 times contact

  Tried: 1) software, Windows Live has two contacts.  2.), remove all contacts in Gmail, Windows Live still has these two contacts.

  I'm at a lost how do I solve this problem...  Thanks for your help.

  I do not believe that your explanation of how this happened is quite accurate. If you add an e-mail account in Windows Live Mail, there is no question of whether contacts should be included - email and contacts are completely separate processes in Windows Live Mail.

  If you see contacts in Windows Live Mail, which are not ' of address book ", then you must be signed in to Windows Live Mail with a Microsoft Account (which could be your Gmail account). If this account is connected to Google, Google contacts will eventually synchronize with Windows Live Mail. You cannot change these contacts in Windows Live Mail.

  To break the connection, click on the rightmost button on the home Ribbon tab and select view account information. Sign in to your account again, and then click permissions.
   
  1. click on services and applications Manage.
  2. click on Edit in the connected Google service you want to remove from your account
  3. click on remove this connection completely.
  4. click on Remove.

  Back in Windows Live Mail. Click again on the button to the right and select sign out of Windows Live Mail. Wait a few minutes, and then click New and connect. Check your list of contacts.

  I have all 85contacts added for the last 2 months (the last time I've updated my phone) on my 9810 who does not sync with gmail contacts since then.

  I tested what is working/not working not:

  -Add/Edit/Remove contact the 9810 sync with gmail.

  -Add/Edit/Delete on the PB contact syncs to gmail. Changes on the gmail contacts will appear on 9810.

  -Add/Edit/Delete on the Android phone contact syncs to gmail. Changes on the gmail contacts will appear on 9810.

  So I tried to empty my contacts using the RSET trick in the contacts option. Disable/enable the option contact synchronization and BIS. I also tried to delete this account gmail from BIS and reinstall. When I re-installed, I received this email:

  Here is my solution:

  So I put day to V7.1.0.746 and back! The only problem is that if you enter only the name of a company, it won't sync until you write something in the name (necessary to repeat the name of the company).

  I just got a Storm 2 a few days ago and so far I like it a lot. At the Verizon store they transferred my contacts on my new phone and it worked very well. Today, although when I turned on my BlackBerry I had duplicates of many of my contacts, and some have been removed. In some cases, each of the entries under the same name had different phone numbers listed under them. I have no idea of what has past and it really seems to be no what he made model. I have the phone set in place with the Director of office for Mac but I've not implemented to synchronize contacts. I had it sync my email contacts but I did it the day I got it and it was no problem until today. Any suggestions on what may be happening or how to fix it?

  Open the contacts/phonebook > menu > filter > uncheck the Gmail contacts.

• Classic blackBerry contacts problem

  I'm new to BB10.  I used pro app contracts to destroy more duplication, but I noticed on some of the contacts I could have an address or a number - but your e-mail (same thing) is listed twice... personal email and another email.  Even with the phone numbers.  It is not on all contacts if this help and don't know why.  Is there a way to fix/stop this without delete manaully and hope that the synchronization does not return?  Thanks in advance.

  Yes, the device will connect the contacts he sees being the same in all of your contacts list. If a Facebook contact is also in your list of Twitter contacts it can link them and display the associated e-mail addresses. You can unlink them but then you have duplicates in your list of contacts when you scroll.

• XPS 12 + two S2340T for three monitors have contact problems

  I am testing a configuration of business as part of our R & D in the field.  I'm running a Dell XPS 12 8.1 Windows.  Last week, I ordered two external monitors S2340T for use with my setup.  In the past, I was able to successfully run the two external monitors for a three monitor Setup.  When I plugged in the first S2340T, everything worked fine. When I connect the other, I lost the ability to screen on the first.  On the second, when I touched the screen, he was interacting as if I touch the screen of the PC clean, despite the fact that he was it running correctly as extended desktop. I finally found that each monitor must be running with the USB cable (I found this in a forum of the year, even if the instructions I received still makes no mention of the need.) At the moment I touch on the screen of Mobile PC, as well as the first S2340T (monitor 1) that I am connected.  The other I'm connected (screen 2) takes any action contact and is the space in the mobile PC display.  If I disconnect 1 monitor, monitor 2 will work perfectly, as expected.  If I plug then 1 monitor, it won't work properly, allowing a contact immediately to show as a touch control on the laptop PC screen (thus imitating the question I had when monitors were reversed). I completely replaced the Dell drivers, even those it says is up-to-date.  I've disabled and upgraded.  At this point, I don't know what to try next.  Dell has recently told me to update my Bluetooth driver for a separate issue and immediately after, I lost the Bluetooth connectivity option and my Bluetooth mouse functionality. After you run an update of the driver from Dell, I lost my Bluetooth receiver on the laptop.  Fortunately, I've seen it before and all I have to do is to re - install the VPN we use SonicWall Global VPN client software.  Restart the system and my Bluetooth is back; but now neither monitor reacts to the touch on the scree, each monitor shows the point of contact as being on my Dell XPS 12.

  Try this...

  * Unplug the two computer screens
  * Reconnect the two monitors by USB 3.0 only (do not use DP or HDMI)
  * Use Windows to configure the monitors in extended mode and save this configuration
  * Go to the control panel
  * Contact search
  * Tablet select configuration - installation
  * You will see a screen that says "Touch this screen to identify it as the touch screen if it is not the press serigraphy tablet PC enter to move to the next screen.
  * At this point, press enter
  * This message will move to one of the external screens
  * Press the screen near the message until the message "press on enter to move to the next step in your configuration to compete."
  * Press enter
  * At this point, if only using a screen external, you will be on the tablet settings screen and you can close it. If you use several external displays, the original message will be then posted on other external display
  * You will see a display on the other monitor that says "Touch this screen to identify it as the touch screen if it is not the press serigraphy tablet PC enter to move to the next screen.

• Weird problem with Qosmio F50-108 - power power button

  I have strange problem with button / stop on Toshiba Qosmio F50-108 - pressing the power button won't start the computer. Now, the computer starts only when I press the first button to the right of the power button (Toshiba button Support).

  It's as if the buttons have been activated. The power button is still able to stop the laptop or put on standby when you press on, but it no longer starts. Recently, I had my laptop on the service, but I put t know if it has been opened or not. Is it possible that the problem is hardware related or is - this serious just of system configuration?   If the laptop was on the service, please call them and explain the situation. Start button / stop is only the button that can be used for the specification of switching on and, as far as I know, it cannot be changed with certain parameters.

• Contacts Outlook of Smartphones blackBerry vs BB device

  I was victim of a different Contacts problem after update to the last version of my BB.

  1. many of my contacts, used like rabbits.

  2. when I deleted one of the instances that each of them could be erased.

  3. I deleted ALL that my contacts have been wiped out.

  4. I entered a 'new' old contact, and he suffered the problem of multiple entry. I gave up counting at 34 copies.

  5. I deleted one instance and they all disappeared.

  6. I dropped.

  I was away from my office and was unable to sync my contacts (v. 5.0.0.1015).

  Other problems:

  1. I tried to Resync and found that BB would add EACH deleted entry since I bought my BB.

  2. now, when I tried to Resync, not worrying about mistakes, I got a 0x8004fb3 error. I'll watch this one now.

  The 'Solution' is to come back to the last good system software. All the problems have disappeared and I didn't have to go 500 + contacts to find space in one of the 3 email addresses.

• Apple TV remote turns on randomly 4th Gen Apple TV

  I have a 4th gen Apple TV for Christmas at work. It's pretty convenient, but it's a very weird thing: the remote control sends signals randomly when nobody is in contact with it, in fact, nobody is there, everyone is metres from the remote control. Since Apple TV is connected to my TV which is capable of HDMI-CEC, it also turns on the TV. Sometimes without any model, when we sit in the corner opposite of the same room, or at random times of the day or even at night. Sometimes I go out in the middle of the night to check on our little girl and I see that the TV is on. Apple TV will switch to standby after a certain time, but since it does not send SIGNAL to the TV via CEC, the TV stays on. Sometimes I stop the movie I'm watching something and when I come back, film runs and minutes. This causes me a real headache, not to mention that it also adds the power bills, especially when we leave for a weekend and I come home that the TV is on...

  Did any of you ever heard, or it's a faulty remote with a contact problem around the buttons that need to be replaced? If the first case, how can I fix this, if the latter, will change any Apple retailer for me? There is no Apple store dedicated to Christchurch, New Zealand. My employer has ordered hundreds of Apple TV Online.

  I don't have to assume that someone else uses one of the old silver remotes close to Apple TV or if someone could play a joke on you with a distance more or the Apple remote on their phone app.

  There was a small number of reports related to the buttons on the remote apparently stick and sending several times the same command, but I don't think I've seen all the reports to work intermittently on his own.
