Content error message corrupted
I have a small business site, which continues to be the "content error corrupted". I have read a lot of information on the support forums about it and tried many bugs, but have not been able to find the exact cause of the problem. I decided to post a question given that the page will load sometimes properly, but when I click on the button reload error occurs. If I can use ctrl-F5 again the page loads correctly. I can't determine if it is a problem with the Web page code, or something in Firefox. Advice would be greatly appreciated!

Files missing or corrupt error message
Pavilion g4 with Windows 7
Try to open Microsoft Office library files, I get the following error message: "this program is unable to run because of missing or corrupted files. Contact the manufacturer of your computer. "Also, seen in the library, Microsoft Office files do not display their characteristic icons (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.). All cultures view the Red page, icon. However, when I open the files of their respective programs, i.e. all first open MS Word and then open one of the files affected by the program, they open without difficulty. I would be grateful for views on the resolution of this problem.
By 'Library' you mean say Windows Explorer instead, or you want to say in the Documents folder in the library section?
What version of Microsoft Office is installed?
Icons expected loss means that files have lost the link with the program which aims to open. It is quite easy to repair.
Follow the tutorial found on this external Web site to associate Microsoft Office files with MS Office programs.

Hello
1. What is the exact error you get when the installation fails?
2. What is the video game you are trying to install?
3. are you able to install any other game?
4. are you download the game on the Internet or you have the disc for the game?
5. what version of windows is installed?
You can try the steps.
I copy the contents of the disc to a folder on the computer and try to install the game folder. Check and verify the results.

Hello
1. are you able to boot into Normal mode after receiving this error message?
2. the problem occurs in safe mode?
3 have there been recent changes to the computer before the show?
I suggest to follow the steps provided and check if it helps.
Method 1: How to perform disk error checking in Windows XP: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/315265#method2
Important: when running chkdsk on the drive hard if bad sectors are found on the disk hard when chkdsk attempts to repair this area if all available on which data may be lost.

c:\WINDOWS\Prefetch\TASKMGR.exe-06144C13.PF corrupted
I ran Dskchk several times and I still get the error.
Is it possible to replace or repair the file.
I also run Microsoft securty Scanner with no detected viruses.
A word on what to do?
In what circumstances this error comes up?
When you run chkdsk (not dskchk), did you use the /F switch (i.e., chkdsk/f)? Otherwise, errors are detected only and not fixed.
The files in the Prefetch folder are used to improve performance. As a general rule, you should leave this file only because Windows XP will periodically clean older files. See http://www.edbott.com/weblog/2005/06/one-more-time-do-not-clean-out-your-prefetch-folder/
On the other hand, although empty manually the Prefetch folder will cause a temporary decrease in performance, doing so may be justified if there is a corrupted file, as in your case. See http://support.microsoft.com/kb/915163/en-us
Thus, if running chkdsk /F (you'll have to answer Yes and then restart) is not fix things to the top, go to C:\Windows\Prefetch and delete the offending file. If you are unable to remove it, after return and report you receive the error message.

Original title: my computer is corrupt and needs fixing!
I received calls from a person in India who said that they are Windows services centre telling me that they have received the error message saying that my computer is damaged, and they want to help me. But I have not received any error message on my screen. When I asked them how they got my number they said it's from the database of Windows. The number they gave me is 02921252715 and when I called the number of the person on the other end told me that they are a company called Windows e-solution, independent company and is not attached to Microsoft Windows. What should I do? Are these authentic calls and approved by Microsoft Windows?
