Content loaded in tabs

When I click on the cross to a new tab, an aol page will load automatically. How can I customize what is loaded in this tab?

This is because the new tab url is set to http://freedompop.aol.com//?mtmhp= & tb_uuid = 74554E47A8AACE28D0185B452B1C8547 , by some addon or program installed on your computer.

You can change it.

(1) in a new tab, type or paste about: config in the address bar and press ENTER. Click on the button promising to be careful.

(2) in the search box that appears above the list, type or paste newtab and make a break while the list is filtered

(3) double-click the preference browser.newtab.url and enter the desired value:

   Page thumbnails (default) => about:newtab
   Blank tab => about:blank
   Built-in Firefox home page => about:home
   Any other page => full URL to the page

Press Ctrl + t to open a new tab and check that it worked (it should take effect immediately).

This started when "ask.com" hijacked my browser. I can now load my selected home page, but can not get the tab 'option' to appear automatically as well as my other sites selected in the tabs above. Firefox uses a vertical bar ("|") in order to separate several home pages.
    You can check the setting of the home page to see if the subject: preferences page is included among the home pages (| subject: preferences #general).

    This can happen if you click on "use current page (s) ' to set the home page and about: preferences is open in a tab.

    Delete the sessionstore.js file possible sessionstore-# .js files with a number and sessionstore.bak in the Firefox profile folder.

    Delete sessionstore.js will cause App Tabs and tab groups and opened and closed the tabs (back) to get lost, so you will need to create them again (take note or bookmarks).

    Version 5.0 on a MAC doesn't let me switch between tabs. Can I open a new tab, but when I try to go in a different tab, it shows me just the content of the tab opened most recently. Help!

    In addition, pop up blocker works for a while and then stops working. I have to close and restart Firefox to make it work again. Help!

    I had the same problem, but with Firefox 4.0. My first thought was last updated to Firefox (after of course restarting FF), but it did not help and I had the same problem.

    Among others, I had an extension installed and enabled called tile tabs 4.10 I thought could easily create this problem. I went in my Add-ons Manager and disabled, restarted Firefox and tabs worked properly again. Unfortunately, the extension of the tile tabs is my favorite Firefox Add-on and I use it almost every day to manage my web tasks. I went to the page Add on for tile tabs and saw that there was a notice that version 4.10 did not work properly on Mac OS and install version 4.9 of the extension. I saw that they had a new is not-yet-seen version 4.11 who has tackled the problem of Mac OS, installed, and everything seems to work properly.

    I have no idea why all of a sudden I had this problem as I don't had not updated Firefox or the extension of the tile tabs recently. Also, obviously this could not solve your problem, especially if you have the module installed and active. But our problem started at the same time for both of us it seems based on your post time, so its probably not a coincidence.

    But its worth a quick glance and you can check other extensions if you don't have the legs of tile that might be the cause of the problem.

  • How to reboot can I configure Firefox to re - automatically load the tabs I had open when I stopped?

    Every morning when I do a soft start to clear the cobwebs out of my brain of the PC I have my boot settings automatically load 6 apps. Firefox is a. Then I go on a toolbar start tab and click Open all tabs and it loads 4 tabs for me.

    I am trying to automate the loading of the tabs

    I use Firefox 4.0. The previous version was a function that was asked, when you closed Firefox, if you wanted the tabs you have open at that time to arrange the next time you open Firefox.

    It's kind of way to jack-leg to get the tabs open on the re-start, although it was still irritation...

    This issue does not seem has happened in 4.0.

    Is there a setting to always call the question?

    Better yet, is there a setting to always have the tabs / a group of tabs always open at startup?

    Example-in my case I load Vonage Sharefile, then 2 home page tabs.

    This allows me to keep my poor brain organized during the day because I'm multitasking in Firefox and other applications, and telephone and other.

    I thank in advance.

    One of the changes in Firefox 4: by default Firefox 4 does not display the warning "Save tabs and exit" then to the closure of several tabs, but it can be turned on again by changing some preferences.

    • Record of the tabs was not removed from Firefox 4, but it works a little differently.

      • By default, Firefox 4 will not ask to save tabs, but instead it will always save your tabs in the output. You can restore the next time by selecting "Restore previous Session" in the history menu, or by pressing the button restore Firefox's default homepage.
      • Note: This was a decision by the developers. On this forum, we are all volunteers without compensation here to help other users. Develop them and employees of Mozilla/Firefox rarely, if ever visit here.

    Also, make sure that you do not erase "Browsing history" when you use clear recent history:

    To display the message "save tabs and exit" when closing multiple tabs, you can do the following:

    1. Type of topic: config in the URL/address bar and press the Enter key
    2. Accept the warning message (promise to be careful)
    3. Open the preferences/list page
    4. Filter = browser.tabs.warnOnClose
    5. If its value is set to false, double-click top (in the lower panel) to toggle its value to true

  • 'do not load the tabs until you have chosen.

    Is there a solution to 'do not load the tabs until you have chosen? No tab should never load in the background (until this tab is selected). BarTab worked for previous versions, but not in 38 or 45 or 49. What is the solution?

    Meanwhile found heavy BarTab and BarTab Plus (and this last seems to work very well really do not load anything in tabs in the background until this tab is selected, even for the session manager charging many tabs). https://addons.Mozilla.org/en-us/Firefox/addon/BarTab-plus/ Saved your suggestion with gratitude (a nt he finds me, all thx) and will try as soon as necessary.

    Also found a replacement for old Download Statusbar: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/s3download-statusbar/

    However, comparing performance with FF21, new versions are all a lot more nits, especially with many tabs open. Assuming that the web is now standardized and programming has optimized, he does not know why this is, but am not an expert and guess where miss me a lot. If I had something to say, I suggest you go back to FF21, to treat everything that has happened since then as learning experience, avoid Chrome & IE errors and build a better browser, but it's probably naive and a joke in your eyes, although there should be power users that guide the development, developers or average users ;)

  • Add a tab dynamically in C++ or QML (with QML existing as the content of the tab)

    Hello

    I'm trying to dynamically add a tab in an existing TabbedPane.  I am able to do that through C++ with:

    Page* page = Page::create();
    Tab* tab = Tab::create().title("title").description("description");
    tab->setContent(page);
    app->tabbedPane->add(tab);

    .. .but I don't want to add an empty Page.  I want to instantiate a document QML existing as content tab, in the same way that I defined the first tab in QML:

    Tab {
         id: defaultTab
         objectName: "defaultTab"
         title: "title"
         CMLocationView {
         }
    }

    Is this possible in C++?  In QML?  In both?

    Thank you!

    In QML

    TabbedPane {
        id: tabbedPane
        ...
        attachedObjects: [
            ComponentDefinition {
                id: pageDefinition
                source: "asset:///UI.qml"
            }
        ]
        function newTab() {
            var c = "import bb.cascades 1.0; Tab{}";
            var tab = Qt.createQmlObject(c,tabbedPane,"newTab")
            tab.content = pageDefinition.createObject(tab);
            tabbedPane.add(tab)
        }
    }

  • The difference between the "All Content" and "Discussion" tabs on the new forum?

    Hello

    Anyone know the difference between "All Content" and "Discussion" tabs on the new forum?  They seem to be the same.  I'm confused.

    Petey

    Petey,

    If I was part of the beta update of the forum, there were certain that we could not effectively test more aspects (such as the ' Like'), that some liked it but others did not. This kind of thing happens.

    In addition, now that we have the full version, and all servers are synchronized, there are probably things that beta testers not to experience. We all will learn in the process too. Also remember, much of the new forum software has been provided by Jive, and although many of us have commented (advantages and disadvantages), only a lot could be addressed. He was not quite want to do a beta on the Adobe software, like there was a full and distinct layer between the two.

    So far, what I see seems close to what we have seen a few weeks (months?) ago. Now, I need to really put the real software to the test, to see what has changed from then on, until now.

    Good luck

  • Release tab does not content to display tab

    I use Jdev 11 g, update 2.

    I have a page with a panelStretchLayout. The facet of boot has a component in the tree. The Center facet has a component panelTabbed with 2 showDetailItems, each with different panelForms.
    Manually by clicking on the tabs shows the correct content.

    The tree has a SelectionListener mapped to a managed bean method. When a node is selected, the bean method sets one of the disclosed showDetailItems.
    There are TRP for the showDetailItems based on the tree.
    This code will cause the current become right tab. The problem is that the content of the tab are not also IF this tab was not previously disclosed.

    An example:
    Tree watch departments & employees, the first present the Dept tab selected in the tree, the other presents the employee selected in the tree.
    When the page runs, the Dept tab is disclosed by default because it is the first.
    In the tree, select a Dept. The Dept tab is disclosed and the correct Dept is displayed.
    In the tree, select an EMP. The Emp disclosed but become tab is empty. The shape of the Emp does not appear.
    Select a Department from the tree to reset tabs.
    Now manually click on the employee tab. The forms display properly with the last selected employee Emp from the tree.
    In the tree, select a Dept. Now the Dept tab becomes disclosed but it is empty.

    My first thought was that it is a problem of RSP with children of the tab. But I tried to adjust PRR on the panelForms so that they are updated when the showDetailItems are updated. That did not help.
    I also tried setting the rendering and visible properties for the child (form) tab programmatically. No luck.

    My current code to the selectionListener is:

    public void setSelData (SelectionEvent selevt)
    {
    RichTree tree = (RichTree) selevt.getSource ();
    Salt of RowKeySet = tree.getSelectedRowKeys ();
    Iterator seliter = sel.iterator ();
    While (seliter.hasNext ())
    {
    Object rowKey = seliter.next ();
    tree.setRowKey (rowKey);
    FacesCtrlHierNodeBinding node =
    (FacesCtrlHierNodeBinding) tree.getRowData ();

    String viewDefName = node.getHierTypeBinding () .getStructureDefName ();
    If (viewDefName.contains ("Dept"))
    {
    setSelDeptNo ((oracle.jbo.domain.Number) node.getAttribute ("Deptno"));
    OperationBinding ob =
    (OperationBinding) bindings.get ("setCurrentRowWithKeyValue1");
    OB. Execute();
    } else
    {
    setSelEmpId ((oracle.jbo.domain.Number) node.getAttribute ("Empno"));
    OperationBinding ob =
    (OperationBinding) bindings.get ("setCurrentRowWithKeyValue");
    OB. Execute();
    }

    If (viewDefName.contains ("Dept"))
    {
    panTab.getChildren () .get (0) .getAttributes () .put ("disclosed", false);
    panTab.getChildren () .get (1) .getAttributes () .put ("disclosed", true);

    /*
    empsTab.setDisclosed (false);
    empsTab.setDisabled (true);
    deptsTab.setDisabled (false);
    deptsTab.setDisclosed (true);
    */
    } else
    {
    /*
    deptsTab.setDisclosed (false);
    deptsTab.setDisabled (true);
    empsTab.setDisabled (false);
    empsTab.setDisclosed (true); * /
    panTab.getChildren () .get (1) .getAttributes () .put ("disclosed", false);
    panTab.getChildren () .get (0) .getAttributes () .put ("disclosed", true);

    }
    }

    }

  • Option 'do not load the tabs until you have chosen' missing

    I already have browser.sessionstore.restore_on_demand true (and browser.sessionstore.restore *) and game options 'show my windows since the last time' in general. When I reopen the firefox than only the active tab is reloaded, the others are there with their favicons, but empty. I have to click on each of them to activate then only recharge them. Previously, they were recharged automatically. PS: Please don't tell me how it "can delay firefox." I know. I still want to use this feature somehow in the previous versions of firefox and palemoon. The box has been removed and reset because it was causing some performance issues with taking care of multiprocessu. You can always set it back. For instructions, see section Firefox can load multiple tabs in the background.
