  Hi guys.

  As you know in 10 anniversary update windows, you can switch between outputs sound when the headphone is plugged directly from the sound icon in the taskbar, but it does not work as it should. If the headset is unplugged then the sound comes from the speakers and they are plugged in when the noise is coming from the headset and I can't select speakers. It shows two devices, but when I select one of them the speakers are selected. Also I tried to playback devices, but still, I can't put the headset as default playback device.   If you remember, I had problem with the IDT driver after upgrade to windows 10 and other updates. I'll be back to tell you good news. Finally, I solved the problem partially and I'll explain what I did.

  Today, I found that there is some audio drivers in the microsoft catalog site, so I went out there and looked for a codec high definition audio. A list came and saw that there are three tempo IDT Audio driver that are compatible with windows 10. They are all IDT Audio driver version 6.10.6504.0 and they are made in 2015. I downloaded all the drivers of three and tested. The first two of them does not solve my problem but the last which is "Tempo driver update for codec IDT high-definition" made in 08/05/2015 with 13.1 MB did the job. I must mention that you need to install this driver on generic windows sound driver for good results. If you install hp IDT drivers probably do not get good results. After installing this driver now I am able to switch between outputs audio (headphones and loudspeakers). The driver can detect my headset exactly as what it is. He shows me an output until I plug in my headphones and it then adds another exit in the helmet. I put my headphones or internal speakers as default playback device which I couldn't do with other drivers. There are just two problems that does not matter much to me, and I can't ignore them. The first is the light of the button mute on the keyboard does not work with this driver which is not very important, and the second is that there is no Equalization of beats in this driver and instead there is an audio driver IDT, which is very similar to the equalizer, but it beats not affect only the internal speakers the headphones that is more important to me because the sound via the headphones is very clear and good. If there was some ablity to HP to change this driver and add audio beats and allow also the light on the button mute then it would be perfect. The link for this driver is here:

I hear the sound very well on the speakers of the laptop, but when I plug my headphones, I can't get sound in the headphones and not on the speakers of the laptop. My old laptop Inspiron does that very well, but it won't. Any suggestions on this... a framework that I did put right or something?

  Laptops that have its IDT have a framework for "Helmet of Communications". Which allows communication as Skype through the helmet, while the regular audio continues through the speakers.

  

  However the 14 Alienware has audio Realtek who doesn't have this feature, I think.

  Here's what's happened so far:

  When I plugged the external speakers were first, I was asked to choose if I had plugged a headphone or speakers. I selected "speakers" and then also, perhaps foolishly, choose "do not ask me again".
  Now, I can't to this selection again.

  -Reboot
  -Try different headphones, try them on other devices
  -System Restore (not, for some reason any)
  -all settings via the sound control panel

  Basically, I think that I am looking for a way to disable the internal ATAPI Jack when the external Jack 3.5 mm is used.

  I am aware, there was a similar thread some time ago, but the problem may be slightly different and perhaps due to the fact that I chose "do not ask me again". At least, I hope this isn't a hardware problem...

  Don t think there s hardware issue.

  Try this:
  Connect the headphones.
  Go to the control panel-> Sound-> playback tab
  Here, you should see the speakers and headphones.
  Now choose the headphones and set this default value.

  I am a user in advance, but this got to be one of the funniest problems ever. First, I had 2 headphones with microphone.

  1. An old helmet specified with microphone
  2. A new headphones A4Tech HS-100 with microphone that I just bought

  Problem:

  • Using the new helmet I bought, when I plug the microphone (pink jack even) it works, but also when I plug in the headphones (same headphone jack), the microphone no longer works (cannot receive all the sounds, even if it is detected clear as already plugged) and only the work of helmet.

  The most funny thing is:

  • The old headset works fine when I plug the microphone (jack Pink) and headphones (headphones) to my ASUS N81V laptop.
  • When I plug the microphone on my laptop and plug the headphones to my iphone, the microphone and the headphones work!

  I have a similar problem with my netbook a built-in microphone running Windows Starter, that's how mine to get the fix:

  Control Panel - his - recording tab - click on Configure button - set up micro - Configuration of the Microphone Wizard.

  I have a windows 8, R HP notebook PC series. I can hear the sound form both the speakers and headphones. Under the playback devices, it has Digital Audio HDMI (audio high definition device not connected) in which there is a small red arrow and the other is the speakers (device realtek high definition audio by default) in which there is a small green check mark. All disabled people and devices that are visible. Under record there are micro (device realtek high definition audio by default) with a small tick under it and then there's stereo mix (compatible audio Realtek High definition) in which there is no sign. Identical to the former, all enabled and disabled devices are visible. Both playback and recording, the two above devices are activated.  No other solution to this problem that I have read on this forum works with me because I do not have these options or simply his does not work.   the computer knows its their and it shows his work but ive tried several pairs of headphones, including the new ipod with the remote, I tried an old pair of speakers that have no other energy source that 3.5 mm cord all work witch on my i pod, I also tried pluging in a splitter first and also an adapter to use a guitar cord pluged amp in an another apapter back down to 3.5 mm a little stupid and redundant but I didn't lie when I said I TRIED EVERYTHING I could think maximum\ read forums\ many watch on youtube.

  I am new to Apple as a client so still getting used to the phone and it's features.

  I recently bought the Iphone 6 s more and I noticed that when I charge it and it is turned off or turned off it does not show the battery charge or how much the battery has charged as in an Android phone or when you turn off your phone and charge the battery sign appears showing the percentage that the battery is charged.

  P.S I know the battery percentage look something available that only works when the phone is turned on as in when the phone is turned on.

  The 'volume' is a hard disk, a partition on a hard drive or a storage as a USB device.

  OS X automatically saves your document frequent while you work on it. If the volume of the device / it records on a summer formatted to allow 'versioning', you will be able to use Time Machine to open previous versions of your document. If it has not been formatted like that, you get the message see you, and only the current version of the document will be saved.

  First of all, make sure that you're connected Administrators account to do.

  How to change a drive letter to change an existing drive letter on a drive, on a partition, or a volume, follow these steps:

  1. Sign in as an administrator or as a member of the Administrators group.
  2. Click Start , click run and type compmgmt.msc .
  3. In the left pane, and then click disk management .
  4. Right click on the drive, the partition, the logical drive or volume that you want to assign a drive letter to and then click change drive letter and paths .
  5. Click change .
  6. Click assign the following drive letter if it is not already selected, click the drive letter that you want to use, and then click OK .
  7. Click Yes when you are prompted to confirm the drive letter change.

  The letter of the drive, partition, or volume that you specified is changed, and the new drive letter is displayed in the appropriate drive, partition, or volume in the disk management tool.
