Context Menu icons highlighted in green and program names

I recently ran a registry cleaner. After cleaning, I right click on the icons on the desktop file and I find that the context Menu icons are highlighted in green along with the names of programs associated with them, when I flew over these lines with the mouse.

These icons of context Menu used to be colorful, even if I hovered above them.
How can I fix them?
I'll do a Windows Setup (Upgrade) with the same operating system?
Thank you!
Shore.
Hi Sandra,.
3 methods above did not fix my context Menu icons. I think that the registry cleaner broke my Windows GUI.
Maybe I'll do a Windows Setup (Upgrade) with the same OS.
Thanks again!
Shore.

  • How to prevent the context menu?

    I have a view of the image that has a context menu that are associated with, and I have a slider that is in addition to that view.

    When I set the cursor, if my finger is placed on a spot for a while, the context menu of the display of the image is raised.

    It is very undesirable.  Is there a way to prevent the opening if the cursor is in interaction with the context menu of the image?

    You can interrupt the opening from the popup menu.

    Here is an example of my code, replace 'condition' by your own condition:

    contextMenuHandler: ContextMenuHandler {
         onPopulating: {
            if (condition) {
               event.abort();

    Every thing seems to have returned to normal, but when I restarted my computer all the icons on my desktop and all programs in the start menu disappeared, and yet, all programs are always in: Control Panel > add/REMOVE programs.   I can still connect to the internet by going to-Start > my computer > view > go to the desktop. How to get back all the icons on my desktop. I tried a click right, but in vain. I also ran a scan complete antivirus. any help would be appreciated.

    Thank you Joel S. Before I could put your advice into practice a friend recommended a friend who advised me to do a system restore, which he said he would be happy to do it for me. So look like an easy option, I agreed. It seems to have solved the problem (fingers crossed), but now it seems that I need to format the hard drive. If you have any tips on formatting hard drive I'm all ears. Thank you Owen

  • How to remove context except flyouts menu icons

    I would like to hide the icons of all the context menus, except icons search engine in two flyouts created by extensions Image Search Options and research context.

    I found the css to hide all the icons, but who hides the icons search engine in these two menus as well.

    Which rule are you currently using?

    Maybe, you just add a ' > '.

    It works for you?
    I don't have these items in the context menu that have an icon, so I can't test it.

    #contentAreaContextMenu > :-moz-any(menuitem,menu) > .menu-iconic-left {visibility:hidden!important;}
