• Continuous playback of a DVD on a loop.

  I have a DVD (not a commercial), I want to play on a continuous loop. I searched the Windows Media Center (which fortunately plays my DVD), but could not find a "continuous playback" or "repeat" option. Am I missing something? If WMC can do it, anyone know of a freeware that can?

  The free VLC Media Player can do it if you set the start and the end points.

  Bottom left of the main window, you will see 4 buttons in a row and if you

• Other sites YouTube and Netflix continue playback after the tab is closed

  If you watch a video on Youtube, Netflix or another site, and you close the tab, the audio continues to play in the background. Restart the browser resolves the issue.

  Solution: This problem has been resolved in Firefox version 13.0. If you are running an older 13 Firefox beta, please update on the output channel.

  If anyone still has this problem, please answer this accurately.

• TCP continues playback of the RT system

  Project:

  I have an AVR32 Board, which collects data continuously and sends it to a PC. The PC communicates with the AVR via LabVIEW for data processing and for example metrics. So far, I used a RS232 connection and processed incoming data through the VISA driver. But since the serial connection is so slow I want to now go to the TCP/IP protocol.

  Current state of work:

  With the connection in series, I checked the COM-port buffer every n milliseconds and processed data in a queue later. So basically my VI has checked if the PC has received something and processed immediately.

  Problem:

  So I tried to create a similar VI with TCP read and I thought I have neededed immediate mode. I wanted to do this since it is a continuous data stream with a custom protocoll where the package sizes vary. But while wireshark told me that data packets arrive, I can't read them in LV

  Basically I have the same problem as this guy But unfortunately he already worked on it without lighting poor bastards like me . So could you please help me with this?

  OK, I might have figured it out by myself. My problem was that I had to specify how many bytes to read. My VI received packets as soon as I said to wait 1 byte to read.

• Continuous playback stop

  Using the trial version... is there a time limit on projects?
  
  I can slide 11 and playback stops. If I press the button in the preview, it goes to the next slide. From there, some slides automatically go to the next slide, some stop and I have to go forward.
  
  I recorded in demonstration mode. It's all there, I just can't get to preview or publish so it will play all the way through.

• Why not continuous playback between folders?

  Why should I choose Play All if I want such a function? Very irritating given the multitude of files and you want to choose this path in the middle piece of record and to have at the beginning of the first track in the first folder.

• Saving data during monitoring continues to supply

  I started to learn the LabView recently and I worked on this small code. The idea is to monitor the power supply voltage and data current and Records in a spreadsheet when there is a change in voltage/current continuous playback or change voltage by the user.

  I used a structure of the event to add the worksheet if there is a change in the value of voltage/current. But through execution to highlight, I noticed that the code continues to monitor the voltage/current and therefore does not re-iterate until the voltage is changed manually by the user.   Put the writing to the file inside the structure of the event.  You will also want to put a value of timeout for your structure of the event.

  DataFlow 101: A loop cannot iterate until all the code inside it is complete.  This structure of the event is sitting there and you wait to change the frequency, or press the stop button.  In the meantime, nothing else in this loop can run again.

  If you mean when a video stops playing and shows an animation while it loads more of him to continue playback, this is called "buffer".

• An event cannot be on the threshold of voltage

  I am collecting and drawing a tension unique channel and must have a break in the proceedings until the tension goes back to a certain threshold.  I made a loop as shown below that I think will work, but it feels weird I have a continuous playback in a loop - wouldn't be reading some other function?  Is it possible to use DAQmx Edge if I'm NOT trigger measure?  I'm new to labview and don't know if there is a more common way for what I think is a frequent task.

  Research in the specifications of this device, it seems as if she has no redeclenchables tasks available to it. However, when I saw the application, it seems you do not seek to collect DAQmx data all the time, but rather use it to trigger the State of your state machine architecture. For this kind of application, what you have seems to be a nice way to compare values.

  However, I have noticed that your DAQmx task continues to run for other States. This may cause the DAQ hardware buffer overflow because it does not read all the time. I recommend starting the task just before that you will need to check and then stop the task before moving on to the next State. This will decrease the load on your DAQ hardware, so as to avoid some errors to occur.

• W530 Quadro K2000m and Premiere Pro CS6

  Hi all

  I have a W530 with i7, interal Q K2000m, 32 GB of ram and 3 disks (ssd, 2 hgst 1msata 7 k 1000 1 TB in the other two bays). I don't know if I have a problem or not, but:

  (1) the CUDA acceleration is enabled. So we are OK in the present.

  (2) when I put together a few clips together, although the rendering is yellow, after a few seconds, the videos start to get restless. So, I wondered how this because I'm only editing a 720 p timeline and I have not filed anything yet. Just deforms stabilizer on some clips and some of them (given that I photographed at 60 p) are slowed to 24 p.

  (3) when I run GPU - Z, I see only a GPU from 8 to 15% charge rate.

  (4) because I can't reverse time and stabilize at the same time, I've stabilized a clip on another sequence and then nested this sequence in my main sequence. Now, when I reverse this nested sequence... I get a blank screen UNLESS I have kill hardware acceleration and switch to CPU only (this seems to be a problem of Premiere Pro)

  (5) I did everything possible to make sure that the Quadro card worked. I turned all "(Performance NVIDIA graphics) in the NVIDIA Control Panel." I installed the latest NVIDIA drivers before yesterday. I even flashed my BIOS to the latest downloadable from Lenovo's System Update.

  Am I missing something? Or is the card just underclocked and underfed on purpose? Why can he not run more than 15% of the load when the clips are jerky during playback?

  You may have noticed I'm a little frustrated... but hey... I love the machine, so I hope I'm missing something I can put in place for any good conduct again.

  PS: All the captured elements are in the 1st HDD on the main Bay and the scratch/preview disc is the 2nd HARD disk on the CD player. First runs from mSATA SSD (Plextor M5M 256 GB)

  So, I went to 'the' extreme and uninstalled first, re-installed and reinstalled the NVIDIA drivers (latest of the NVIDIA site) with the 'clean install' checked box and now everything works as it should.

  That being said, still have a bug and it has to do with Premiere Pro:

  Sometimes, the first 'game' of a sequence may not be smooth. If you have one of these situations, the first clip on your sequence can be a bit choppy, the second get choppier and when you hit the third or the fourth, continuous playback sound but stop visuals.

  All you have to do is drag the needle at the beginning, or anywhere where you want to start playback and play again. Fluid reading happens.

  So my card made no effort (~ 15-20%) on the yellow line clips (those who do not need to be "rendered") and it can ALSO play smoothly on excerpts from the red line (those who, ideally, should be made for smooth playback) that being said, I managed to get the card work until 65% by putting more effects in the clamps. It would seem that the card can be slightly under-utilized (perhaps... and maybe it's a first thing) because the thing 'first play choppy playback'.

  I saw a video comparison between the first and Sony Vegas... Vegas seems to be better optimized, then maybe I'd be looking to move to in the future. With Lightroom as another experience that I have, it would seem that some software Adobe isn't taking advantage of all the resources available to it. Capture One, on the other hand, really good.

  ALSO, as a final note, my BIOS is on Optimus, and I see no difference between it ON and OFF...? ...

  As a final note, I really appreciate the 530... not least because of the possibility to have the 3 internal drives but also the screen that I have installed in it (B156HW01 v7) which, like the V4, generoud AdobeRGB coverage and can match almost my NEC monitor. Until some new jobs come with screens with this color gamut coverage, I can't feel very tempted to spend.

  However, as I want to "lock when you press on" for fixing buttons (Boolean controls), I can not all their share values. I don't want to "switch when you press on, as is a two UI bad (in my opinion) and caused some disorder (once back to the idle state, cannot press any other button)."

  Have your notification send a REAL for the start, data acquisition and a FALSE for when to stop.  When you get the value TRUE, you can set the timeout of your wait on Notification to how fast you want to make your purchase and assign - 1 (wait forever) when you are ordered to stop.  You can simply store this time-out in a shift register.  So then you get data if you got a notification TRUE OR if you have a timeout.

• Software for reading and writing of trigger

  My goal: generate a sine wave for output to a channel BNC-2110 (connected to a speaker), listen to the sound from the speaker generates via 4 microphones (separated by a known distance) and save lag (or the phase difference) between each microphone. The moment in this regard must be very precise, and I'm having a little trouble by issuing a command to trigger.

If I know how long the pulse is + my two departure delays and find yourself, I can calculate the total recording time and finished so samples is good enough. Which should reduce to nothing the need for a while loop?

  The process goes something like this:

  --> Continuous playback playback--> continue reading--> reading of finishing--> output
  Delay time known--> Start--> finishing Writing written

  My main problem is that I don't know how to create a "dependent software time based event trigger", and I don't know how to make sure that each DAQmxWrite/reading is ready to start to go before I have send the trigger for them. Any suggestions?

  AHA! The synchronization problem has been in the task. I had activated the recording and the default directory was not on my hard drive - I wrote continuously on the network! Works fine now.

• In the control loop time interval and simultaneous measurement

  I just started to learn labview so please do not judge my messy programming

  I want to constantly measure certain values (humidity, temperature, etc.) and once a certain threshold is crossed, I want to activate a device. Measure and activating things works perfectly if used separately. If I combine it and measure for awhile (10 samples at 100 Hz continuous playback mode) I get the error 200279 "attempted to read samples that are no longer available.

  If I use (100 samples to read 100 Hz n samples) it measures for some time (interrupted manually after 4 hours), but I recognized that there was a gap of time of half an hour between the timem system and the 'real' time shown in the table.

  Oh, and this isn't really critical time. It is enough if it measures one sample per 5 seconds or more.

  Is there a quick fix and dirty for this?

• Audio reading of LABVIEW (with break and reverse)

  Im trying to build a VI that will play a pre-recorded sound, with the ability to pause, play backwards and go to any part of the audio data and continue playback. (Play in reverse would be a nice feature, but does not really need to be there). Once I understood the procedure, he will fit in with reading video and recorded the data display, so it must be fairly dynamic in the measurement of time of the loop, when added to the output buffer.

  I have what I thought should work (written in LABVIEW 8.6) only I find that the 'writing of audio output' vi is not as expected. My interpretation of the documentation for this vi is that when you enter data in this vi (with zero time-out wired in), he should dump these data in the output buffer and then return to the main program, then these data are playing. However, I find that this does not happen and that the vi takes at least that long to finish than it takes to read data. The rest of the vi is completed in less than a millisecond, then this is definitely the vi that takes all the time. It is causing the sound to be very clicky and sometimes don't even look like a sound vibration.

  I'm using the wrong screws? is there a better way to go to achieve this goal? The VI I wrote is attached. If the sinusoidal signal is set at 500 Hz, it sounds like the sampling frequency is a multiple of this not exactly why it works (Im). If I have the sinusoidal signal set to 501 or 510Hz for example, you hear the problem I described above.

  Just a suggestion.,.

  You could try the windows media player activeX control.  Just load the file you want to play using the nodes property of the activeX control and it does the job remaining.

  I am juice tests the vi you attached and will post back if I have ideas.
