  You can not use NI Tuner tuner 5601 (no traditional DAQ support) but use the driver of the ACCA and use it with external digitizer option.

• Frequency control of NOR-9476 on the cDAQ-9188

  I am using a cDAQ-9188 with a NI 9476 module, and I would like to control the frequency of the digital signals that the module was released. I tried to use the example of Pulse Train digital continuous with control of the frequency, but impossible to select the 9476 since there is no internal counter, and when I change the 'Digital output' task, the frequency control disappears. Is it possible to use the internal counter of frame to control the output frequency of the 9476? I need to get out a range of 0 to 1 kHz.

  Most of my program would output a digital signal of a certain frequency every second in real time from a given table. For example, if I have an array of [10, 20, 15, 100,...], it generates a model of up/down of 10 cycles per second for a second, followed by 20 cycles (with a shorter period) for a second, then 15 cycles per second for a second, and 100 cycles per second for a second.

  I tried to use avoiding to do, but it was very slow, with a delay of 63 ms between each cycle, when I wanted a 1 ms delay.

  CDAQ-9188 has 4 counters built in, but you cannot access it by using the NI 9476-, but the NI 9401 module can access the built-in meters.

  The good news is that you can always generate your pulse train, using counters, it generate on the PFI lines on the chassis itself and not through your module.  If you need to generate more than a pulse train, or use all four counters, you will need the module NOR-9401/9402.

  In order to get the speed, you will need to use the capabilities of hardware counters timing.

  I took a peek at the library you're working. You can access the Panel to edit costrol as usual, then in order to update the properties like color, you can switch to editing of control mode. In doing so, you are correct when you say that there is no way to color to change, however, keep in mind that you are trying to update an image, so it is not supposed to be editabel. Furthermore, I suggest you right click on the component you want and select import in the file, and then replace the background with the plain color image you want. It will work.

  When flying the Stearman PT-17 on free Microsoft Flight (2011), control of the aircraft do not have enough "throw" (movement), to make, say, a loop or a roll. How to adjust for more movement? I didn't see no provision for that in the 'Options' under 'Orders of aircraft', "Game controls", "Gameplay", nor anywhere else. I use a mouse for control. Where to go to set? Thank you!

• Problems burning discs with toast

  I have problems burning discs using toast. I had with my old Toast 10, and the problem persists despite an update of Toast Titanium 14, so I assume that the problem is with my mac and not the toast. This happens with all types of disks, but is less common with data records that are not too big. I receive pop-up messages such as: -.

  Sense Key = MEDIUM ERROR

  Sense Code = 0x0C

  WRITE ERROR

  I have defraged my drive and controls with TechTool Pro, but it does not help.

  Any ideas?

  This error is a response is received from the reader, by Toast.   This means that the drive has reported a class specific (key) and error type (code).  In this case, involving a class of errors appearing with the recording medium and the specific error returned is a clerical error.   This means that the write failed.   Why writing has failed is not returned, neither the player nor the Toast in particular knows that.

  Apply current patches for your version of Toast, if you are not already underway.  This may correct the incompatibilities with some kind of recording media and some readers work.  There is much more variability here with the media and readers than most people imagine.   Try another drive for registration.   Try different media - an any other brand, preference.    Try a cleaning optical media disc.   Dusty heads can cause this type of error.  Definitely try record to the low speed allowing the unit and the way, too.

  So - if the above fails, please report the problem and specific recording media used (it can be data saving these settings on optical, data supports that aimed to help the reader to adapt to specific media) and the optical drive model, for the folks at Roxio.

  Defragmenting disks and technology tools and the rest probably aren't relevant here, unfortunately.  (I don't remember offhand if a failure to get pretty quickly the data on the disk - defragmentation is intended to address - indicates an error in writing or not, but I wouldn't bet on that there is correspondence sane with any of the optical device errors.)  Optical drives are basic devices and semi unreliable in general, no two revisions of the firmware on the optical drives are never the same and sometimes not even two disks with the same firmware revision, optical drives getting harder and more fragmentary with age, and optical media itself can be wonderfully flaky.   That to have written more than a small optical recording software.)

  Sometimes you can find that information on the compatible readers in the user manual.
  Maybe you will find some info.
  But generally, all devices and compatible readers, you can order from the Toshiba service partner in your country.
  It is important that you go buy a car with a csel/slave/master settings right because if the disc has wrong settings of the BIOS will not recognize the device.
  I would recommend to contact the ASP and control player of these guys right here.

• Disable the identification of network cams

  I use LV2010 with 2 USB cameras. The cameras are controlled as NOR-IMAQdx devices and everything works fine.

  However, there is an irritating behavior:

  LabVIEW is always looking the intranet for all connected devices. In my company are more than 10 cameras identified that are used by other colleagues. Sometimes the order of the cams is changing and I must identify and choose my own USB cam again. In addition, I think that IP-scan waste some time. The loading process takes much more time as soon as I understand IMAQdx SubVIs.

  My question: is it possible to disable the search for other IP cameras? I have not found any know how inentify the cams of the USB only.

  The suggested EnabledIPCameras reg key has a spelling error. After playing, I discovered that EnableIPCameras works. Thus, the d was wrong. Thank you, Chris!

  Disable the ping of discovery does reduce not only for both IMAQdx list VI cameras drastically. And I use it now to check that all my USB webcams work well.

  For your information, a comparison of the first start-up of my times in milliseconds:

  EnableIPCameras = 1 DiscoveryTimeout = 1000:19082ms

  EnableIPCameras = 1 DiscoveryTimeout = 0:18082ms

  EnableIPCameras = 0 DiscoveryTimeout = 1000: 1077ms

  EnableIPCameras = 0 and DiscoveryTimeout = 0: 79ms

  So, thank you Chris and Gunther! With the two tips, I was able to minimize the wait!

  Sorry about crappy experience when looking for help. Unfortunately, it's largely out of control of OR being a Microsoft product Help Viewer. Well, not completely outside the control of NOR, since NEITHER will pass finally to another form of assistance other than .chm, requiring the use of this viewer. But it's an important change affecting all products nor, not only CVI, and it is not a simple thing to do in the short term.

  That said, even though the search has many limitations, it should allow you to perform partial searches. For example, if I search for "navigation", we find topics with "Browse".

  In all cases, you can find more information on the control of 'Functions in the file' in help. Unfortunately, the help of the ADE is mainly organized by window/sections and that that control is a part of (the toolbar) does not help associated with it. But I'm agree with you on the fact that, unlike other controls in the toolbar, the control's behavior is not completely obvious and so somewhere in the table of contents it should probably be a help associated with it.

  This function is not list include functions defined in files that are not in the project. The phrase that you specified in the release notes (' LabWindows/CVI creates information consultation of source code for the functions that are declared even though they are not called in the project") does not really mean what you think, it does. This phrase refers to a change in behavior between 2012 and 2013: in 2012, if you add just a function prototype to your source code, but never to set the function, it is not in the source code browser. In 2013, however, it is included.

  A service pack should be available very soon, somewhere in the coming days.

  I try to use a new model player NOR SmartCAM VBAI 2013 - previously we have used VBAI 2009 API - and connect, inspect, and achieve results (specifically ID matrix read and pass the status).

  The c# code sample uses VBAIEngine object.  Not clear how to connect to the camera.  An example that I can operate with the camera would help enormously.

  I'm sorry. There is no chm or online documentation for the API .NET VBAI. We currently provide some examples.

  The API is relatively easy to use, and the examples provided with VBAI show how to use most of the functions.

  For the complete list of functions and their prototype, double-click the NationalInstruments.VBAI.200x reference in the sample project, to see the Assembly in Object Explorer.

  From there on, tyou can extend NationalInstruments.VBAI, click on VBAIEngine and see the list of all methods and their prototypes in the window.

  Same for NationalInstruments.VBAI.Enums and NationalInstruments.VBAI.Structures.

  Sorry I don't have a better answer for now. If you have questions about some of the methods, feel free to post again on the forum.

  This just started happening the last two days.  I tried to add the url to my list to activate in Internet Options, also to accept the list for windows firewall. I rebooted and restored.

  It is annoying when I can't access Web sites on my PC.  There is no control parenting, nor is it a reason to be since I'm 57 years old, single, live alone and have no children, and not to mention that this isn't a single adult site. This is an auction site.  The same thing happens on a site of sports too.

  I understand how it could be frustrating when things do not work as expected. Please, I beg you, don't worry I'll try my best to resolve the issue.

  1. what operating system is installed on the computer?

  2. what version of Internet Explore do you use?

  3 have there been recent changes to the computer before the show?

  Please go ahead and follow the steps mentioned and later a update on the State of the question.

  Method 1: Start Internet explorer with the mode without modules and check.

  Click Start, all programs, accessories, System Tools, and click Internet Explorer (No Add-ons).

  If the problem does not persist in Internet Explorer (No Add-ons), then it is one of the Add-ons at the origin of this problem. Please follow the steps below to locate the problem the weak module:

  a. restart IE normally.

  b. click on tools.

  c. click on Manage Add-ons.

  d. disable add-ons by clicking on them one at a time to highlight and then click Disable.

  e. reactivate modules one by one and check with what add-on, you get this error message.

  f. turn off the add-on at the origin of the problem.

  Important: Reset Internet Explorer to its default configuration. This step will disable also any add-ons, plug-ins or toolbars that are installed. Although this solution is fast, it also means that, if you want to use one of these modules in the future, they must be reinstalled.

  Follow these recommended steps and after if you still experience the problem.

• App says "SD Card not supported" and "SD card dead."

  When I try to access my 64 GB wireless connect drive, using the application, I get an error red at the top that says "SD Card not supported." It gives me the opportunity to reach a "refresh" - like icon. When I do, it says "SD card dead." It does not allow me to change the settings of the player, nor can I see the contents.

  If I try to connect the disk with my computer, the web browser simply says that it cannot connect to the page.

  When the player is connected to my computer, I can read and write files perfectly fine, it immediately mounts and storage information is displayed in the window management drives in Windows. It is just like normal, like a flash drive.

  The wireless network is displayed correctly, that my computer and the phone are able to connect to the wireless network. However, it is not able to read/write/access to the drive.

  The App also shows that the battery level. It won't show the phone storage space, or it will show the space remaining on the disk.

  Edit: It also just started something really weird. After being plugged into my computer for about 10 minutes, the light starts to Flash quickly and would act as if it was to be disconnect and reconnect the computer for about 15 seconds. And then he stopped. After 10 seconds, he started to do it again. 15 seconds later, it returned to normal and haven't done anything since.

  It had exactly the same problem happen to me and I was about to give up, but finally had a breakthrough, so I made an account just for this post.

  Format the Stick wireless by using the tool "HPUSBDisk":

  Just choose your player, select the "Fat32" filesystem type, uncheck the "quick format" box and click on 'start '.

  Allow the formatting process complete and you should be in business.

  I tried many other methods, including those proposed in the forums and SanDisk KB and it's the only thing that actually worked.

  It is worth noting that when this problem occurred in the first place for me, it's following a format of the WirelessStick (16 GB) on a Windows PC. Following this format, I got exactly the problem that the OP has been/is seen.

  I'm UST wondering if anyone knows if I should be able to download a protected file in RealAudio (.rax) on my Sansa Fuze (it's looking doubtful, but I am trying to hope).  I bought without knowing a song in this format and Windows Media Player nor my rocket seem to recognize it.  It is a great disappointment.  All information on this topic would be useful.

  BDB thanks for your comments.  I have some good news to report, if.  It may depend on where you buy the song, but I understood how to operate with the best buy digital music store where I bought the song.  There is nothing difficult; just a matter of the use of their synchronization interface with rather than go to WMP or simple drag-and-drop.  Peace is restored in my little world.

  I get this pop-up error message "Microsoft Windows Search Indexer stopped working and was closed" and I can't get rid of it.  I tried to go to control panel, Indexing Options and Reindexing, but that does not solve the problem.  I always get this error message.  Any help would be appreciated.

  My first try at a fix would be SFC, then re index again. The error control player would be next.

  1) right-click the icon of the drive in r explores(the application of the computer at startup)

  2) click on properties of
  
  3) click on the Tools tab

  (4) see error checking

  The System File Checker tool

  To determine if the problem you are experiencing is caused by one or more system files that are used by Windows Vista, run the System File Checker tool. The System File Checker tool analyzes the system files and replaces incorrect versions of system files by using the correct versions.

  To run the System File Checker tool, follow these steps:

  1. click Startand type cmd in the box start the search .

  2 right-click cmd in the programs list and then click run as administrator.

  3. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type your password or click continue

  4. at the command prompt, type the following line and press ENTER: sfc/scannow

  When the analysis is complete, test to see if the problem you are experiencing is resolved.
