control scan

Hello.

I am currently working on an air application for - office who manages documents. I thought it would be great to be able to scan documents directly from the app.

Is it possible to do this with as3?

Thank you

you want to run a (peripheral computer) scanner from your air application?  If so, you can start the application that handles normally entry using the nativeprocess class scanner.

Hello @chuckg7kc , welcome to the forums

I've read about the software problem that you encounter on your system Windows 8.1, as printing software does not work for you, and you see the error "the HP Imaging device cannot be found". I have some ideas in mind which may help you!

Perform an uninstall of level 3:

If the software has been downloaded and extracted to your system:

    1. press Windows key + R and type %temp% enforcement and press enter

    2. Locate and open the folder starting with 7z (example: 7zS2356) (if there is more than one, choose the most recent folder)

    3 open the Util folder

    4 open the CCC folder

    5. run the L3uninstall.exe

    6. once the uninstall is complete, restart the computer

7 run the Accessories\ System Tools Disk Cleanup

    8. download and install the latest version of Adobe flash player

    http://www.Adobe.com/support/flashplayer/downloads.html

    9. try a clean boot that turns off all startup programs. Disable all firewall and anti-virus too and try the installation again.

10 download the drivers and full software features: here

    11. once the printer is installed, go back to the clean boot instructions to re-enable the startup programs.

    Good luck

  • 6700 WIRELESS SCANNING

Printer is set up wireless and print very well.  I can't scan to she and I watched so many options that I do not know what way to go today.  I need a simple solution. :-)  I tried to install and reinstall using the USB, and the configuration and restart and pulling on the cord to restart and it still says the feature is not enabled - open printing software and select the scanner actions control scan-to.  What software?  HP Solution Center, it cannot work because the device is not said is installed.  So I follow that and run it and still get the same thing. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr It scans using the USB stick very well. :-)

    Hi Marcy,

Welcome to the Community Forum of HP.

I'm sorry that it makes you crazy.

I was reluctant to pick it up because I suspect that you have already done this... However your post does not specifically say that this is the case.  I will take a decision on the assumption there is only chance which suite will help.

    You can try:

    • Unplug the USB cable from the printer

Control Panel > set display icon > programs and features >

Scroll to the bottom to find the printing software > right click on the program > Uninstall

    • Restart / reboot the computer and connect

Install the full functionality for the printer software:

Install full software features - OfficeJet 6700

Because you are able to run the printer wireless, I would say that at least for now, you do not connect the USB cable.

The instructions (above) is an example of using the Printer Wizard (officially the Solution Center).  After you install the full feature software, the Printer Wizard shortcuts should be on your desktop.  Try to use the Printer Wizard to scan shortcut.

I hope that remove and then installing a new copy of the updated printer software printer Support pages can solve the problem for you.

  • imageFORMULA CR-180 check the log file to scan

    Hello

I work with an imageFORMULA CR-180 check Scanner and when executing a good amount (longer than 100) of the controls, I noticed that the scan control stops and a pop-up window appears on the Analysis ToolPak asked if I would like to replace my log file and start over.

The software that I use is called "Utility scan for CR-180II" and the log file contains the information of MICR line controls scanned, as well as the date of the analysis, and the location of the file to the images captured from the parser.

Log file options under "Options-> MICR data parameters.

What I do, it is by clicking on ' no, I want to overwirte the file ", stop the scan, moving the log of the 'old' file, restart the scanning and backup to a new log file.

Is there anyway to work around this problem and record continuously in the same log file?

Is there a memory limit on the scanner?

This is the Web page of the scanner that I use:

  • Win 7 and HP PSC 1200, scan save as has no option .pdf

With Win XP the scanner control was with interface s/w HP which had the Save as PDF option.

With Win 7 PSC 1200 auto-installé ok. Control scan is via Microsoft Scanner interface

gives possibility to scan Documents, but save as a .jpg, and .tiff etc but no .pdf option.

For documents, pdf files are standard. A to convert .tiff .pdf using Zamzar separately.

How can I control the scanner using the interface of the HP software or add save as PDF to Microsoft Scanner

    Options?

You can try to download and install the software HP for Windows XP in Windows 7 via the compatibility mode.  In addition, the problem is the scanner stopped being taken in charge by HP at the level of Windows XP.  Do you have a generic "included" with Windows Vista/7 driver after that, and that's all.

There are a lot of alternatives and even free third-party applications that you can use with your scanner and HP generic driver provided to scan directly to or convert to PDF format.  I don't have particularly in mind - but you should be able to find something that fits your needs.

  • Two main problems; can be combined (display/activeX controls to image)

I first noticed the issue several weeks ago, but I can't determine any single event that triggered (for example no virus, no software installation, etc..) Since that time I was pulling on my hair, searching the Internet to find answers, answers MS Search, book search for answers - without success.  I am now trying to put this as a presentation at the forum, and I'll switch to FireFox immediately after, because no clear solution seems to be around.

Please - someone help me; I have tried everything I have seen/read:

Question 1: Some web pages display images without problem (www.microsoft.com, www.newegg.com, www.tigerdirect.com, etc.) while others fail to show images at all and seems more text based GUI based. A good test for this was that several web sites including www.amazon.com , which breaks down to show the book covers, Ted images etc., while other pieces show correctly positioned text and links work when you're floating above them and click.

    What I tried (1):

-During the running MS Internet Explorer for FixIt. clear all the cache (password, internet files, temporary, cookies, forms, etc.); Reseting "default." running a registry cleaner application. After each setting on the net I could find and the similar value, removing all list management web sites. (This is true for both versions of Internet Explorer - 32B or 64B)

Question No. 2: Installation of the safe places known ActiveX control (for example, Microsoft) do not settle. This applies to both versions of Internet Explorer (32B and 64B). To try to understand what is the problem, I even searched the Internet and followed everything I can find.

-Linking MS FixIt for IE; clear all the cache (password, internet files, temporary, cookies, forms, etc.); reset to "factory" by default; Run the registry cleaner application. After each setting on the net as I could find and the value as well. remove all list management web sites.

    FAILURE on all fronts... :(

    Additional information:

After switching to FireFox (if all goes well for only a short time), I followed the instructions to remove Internet Explorer my system.

It did not work... IE (32B and 64B) remained. Not only he remained, he kept what is wrong with it as well. Still no satisfaction.

If anyone can help, I would really appreciate it...

Anyone know of any solution anywhere - little matter how painful?

Please let me know answer here or by sending a private message or how ever best works for no matter what - I'm going to try anything at this point.

    Thank you in advance.

However, this forum does not seem to be technical enough to still offer ideas... I don't know that's the hope!

    Hi Jim,.

I see that you have some problems with the display of the images, and active x controls on Internet Explorer. I'll help you with this problem.

I suspect that the use of registry cleaners could have caused some problems.

    Method 1.

If possible, use the system restore to a date before the problem occurred.

    System Restore: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows7/products/features/system-restore

Important: System Restore will return all system files not as documents, email, music, etc., to a previous state. These files of types are completely affected by the restoration of the system. If it was your intention with this tool to recover a deleted file to non-system, try using a file instead of system restore recovery program.

    Method 2.

If the method above does not help, then run SFC/scannow. After control scan to see if the problem occurs.

I suggest that you can exercise SFC scan and check if that helps. The SFC/SCANNOW command analyzes all protected system files and replaces incorrect versions with appropriate Microsoft versions.

For more information how to make SFC / scan, please follow this link: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929833

    Hello

After reading your description of the error is just one thing you can do. Since your hard drive appears to be faulty, you just have to swap the HARD drive
    and everything will be fine.
Don t you have to do with the BIOS or similar, just put a new and functioning HARD drive in your machine, get it with windows and the machine works again.

  • Analog outputs with different time scales

I use products AO of a card PCI-6731 for an application scan head and I have some difficulties to achieve peak performance, that I need. I am contolling the map with nidaqmx drivers in c ++

Basically, an output controls scanning in the direction Y (which is a line of scanning and is very fast) and the other in the X (increment once per scan line, so much slower). The complication is that both exits start at an external trigger, because positioning is synchronized to a separate data acquisition card.

    Now, what I do is:

-write the scanline for 0 output waveform

-set output 1 to a given position

    -say next Trigger output card

-hangs at the end and stop tasks

What I really want to do, it is just tell him to start with on each external trigger output waveform of scanline 0 and output 1 increment to the next position. So I could do a complete 2D scanner with a minimum of control software.

Any ideas on how I could best achieve this? My understanding of the nidaqmx drivers I don't see an elegant way to do it.

I could potentially do some operations on the done callback, although it makes me a little nervous because the control PC running windows, it is not a real-time operating system.

Hmm I do not know exactly but there are a couple of things (it is close)...

The output frequency of meter in your example 5 MHz (20 MHz, 2 high ticks, weak 2 ticks), which is faster than holders 6731 for a sample clock.  I thought that this would have given a material error... are you looking for errors once the task runs (for example using DAQmxIsTaskDone)?.  There is a DAQmxCreateCOPulseChanFreq if you want to set the clock frequency directly (it will use the appropriate default internal time base).

The task of counter generates 1000 pulses per trigger, is what determines the number of samples generated by the trigger (I assume that you want it to be 1024 aka "numSamples").

The analog output task must either use:

    (1) calendar continuous if the output will repeat indefinitely as several triggers are acquired.

    (2) finishes pitch (N * numSamples) samples where N is the number of lines that you want to exit and numSamples is the number of samples per line.  In this case, the task will end once the lines were triggered.

  • Having trouble getting an Excel file table

This will probably be a very stupid question, but I could hurt trying to get a table 2D from an Excel file? The file contains two columns of data that I want as a 2D array (or two tables 1 d) and after having tried a number of things I don't get anything up on top of my chart. The attached VI is a work in progress and has been hashed together some other work (it will be used to control scanning mirrors).

    Thanks in advance,

    Ben

    Hi Ben,

I found an article in the Knowledge Base that relates to your specific problem. I linked it below.

Reading Microsof Excel in LabVIEW digital data

After you follow the steps in the KB, I changed the file to a text (.txt) file and was then able to read the data successfully and it draw on the XY graph using a modified version of your code that contains only the item file IO. If you make changes to your data file and then reference in the amended VI that I have attached, this will help to illustrate how you can view your data in LV

    I hope this helps.

  • OfficeJet 7610 Printer Wizard option disappears from the list of options

After having initially installing my 7610, clicking the printer from devices and printers would bring a window with an image of the printer up and four options - Assistant printer, see what's printing, set preferences, and customize your printer. Today, there was a message in the upper part of the window indicating there was an update to be applied, so I said to apply. After the update is complete, the window has changed and now there are only three options - Printer Wizard disappeared. It's the same thing with a 6500 printer on my network.

I use the Printer Wizard to manage all my printers and especially to control scanning. I tried to uninstall all the drivers, then by downloading a new copy of the full of HP and reinstalling software, but the option is still missing. HP did move it somewhere else and not tell anyone?

    Hello

What happens when you click on the HP Officejet 7610or 6500 from the desktop or the start menu icon? You can access the HP printer Assistant or you would see any different behavior during the launch of the software?

  • The HP Deskjet all in one printer/scanner has no control on the printer, then how to scan?

I can print wireless from my iPad to my printer/scanner HP Deskjet 2540, but cannot see how to scan from the email on my iPad unit. Is it possible to download the control panel scanner/copier on my iPad?

    Hello

You can scan using the HP all-in-One Remote app, available for the App Store.

You can find a step by step instructions below:

  • HP3070 b611all in a printer: HP3070 unable to scan from the printer control panel

    Hello

Although I can scan a document from my laptop I can't do it from the printer control panel.

I tried following the instructions in the Support Center
"HP Deskjet 3070 e - all-in - One Printer Series - how Scan: from the control panel" but I didn't know where I could: ' activate the scan to the computer connection (Windows only).

Anywhere there is no mention of "Scan" under settings B3070 only in a separate file, HP Scan on my system...

Thanks for your help so far.  I now have much more HP files/programs that I started with.  What can delete and to be able to continue to print wireless & scan of the computer, or maybe I should ask what files do I need and I can uninstall.

I ordered the following cable to establish a connection between my laptop and a printer?  I hope it is the right one.

  • C7280 - cannot scan. Error message indicates another program has control over the device

I open the HP Device Manager to do a scan. I accepted the parameters and the scanning started. But the part passing through the analysis, I stopped the scan that I realized that I wanted to change the resolution. I leave the Manager device and rebooted but when I did, I got to tell an error message:

'Cannot perform the function you have requested because another program has control over ice dev'.

I have nothing else open and so I can't work on what program has control over the printer.

    C7280 Prtinter. Mac OS x 10.7.

The Device Manager has not been updated for Lion and there is still no specific Lion software for your printer.

So far, you have the choice of scanning with picture Capture or preview.  I'm sorry.

    • Plug the router back in power and wait until it completely initialize

So, have you tried to disable your firewall and protection scan from the front panel of the printer?  Sometimes a firewall service will see the printer as a threat and block incoming traffic.  However, based on the analysis of gets it PC around as she reaches out to the device, rather than the reverse.
