  I am using Borland C++ Builder 6 to access a DAQmx 8.9.5 and get an error message: external DAQmxCreateTask (among others) pending. I think the problem is with the library file that I use.   I just installed Borland Builder 6 and tried to use the static library that is referenced in knowledge base article.  I managed to do it.

  Two things to try:

  (1) make sure that you have added the .lib your project file (view > Project Manager... and then right-click on the project and select 'Add').

  (2) if that doesn't do the trick, you can try to add the directory where you put this .lib file to your path of the project.  In other words, right-click on the project and select 'Options '.... ».  Click the tab for "directories/conditionals.  Add '; 'to the ' Library Path'.

• Impossible to turn off parental control in Windows 10

  Today, I met a rather frustrating problem.

  After starting my laptop with preview W10, build 10130, I noticed a guest who said that safety was turned on, but before I could click it for more information, he disappeared.   I found the solution (which worked for me):

  1. In (modern) settings > account > your account
  2. Press "connect you with a local account instead.
  3. Create a temporary account
  4. Sign in with the new account
  5. In (modern) settings > account > family & others
  6. Under 'Your family' should be a link where you can reconnect to a MS Account (I don't know the exact name of the link). Just tap it ;)
  7. Sign out and you should be able to sign back with your MS Account
  8. Everything should work now :)

• Custom Tools/menu bar VBAI

  I would like to find a way to customize the menu/toolbar for a Vision Builder AI.  It seems that the buttons launch and Inspection stop Insepction cannot be hidden/disabled or password protected operator.  Does anyone know of a way to control these elements?

  I am aware that the VBAI may use a custom interface developed in a LabVIEW VI, but it seems to me that the buttons Run/Stop always appears unless a property for the latter can be accessed.

  How a developer can prevent accidental a machine vision inspection stop if the Stop button is always enabled?

  Hi Dan,.

  Unfortunately, there is no way to disable these keys of Vision Builder AI. That's the good reviews.

  You are right: even when using a custom user Interface, VBAI will display these buttons and they will be activated.

  The only solution to this issue now, is instead of using the Vision Builder of the application's main executable file, create custom LabVIEW user interface and use the VBAI API to open/run the inspection. You will be able to program in LabVIEW user access capabilities and only activate the features that you want to give access to the operator on your UI.

  The developer will always be able to edit the control using Vision Builder AI.

  We are aware of the lack of UAC in VBAI.

• Server does not support remote façade panels

  Hello.  Hope someone has an idea about that.  After the computer host and update cDAQ 9139 LabView SP1 from 2013 to 2014 LabView dev suite shipped by NOR, I get the error "server does not support the remote panels" when you try to view my remote panel.  Before the update it worked normally.

  I went through everything in the list in this document, http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/allkb/C23EF1551D8C52ED86256B140073EE2E and can't find anything that will solve the problem.

  I have rebuilt the application in 2014 of LabView (I even tried a new simple project with a single loop, one of the temperatures and a remote control), rebuilt the build spec and get the same error.

  "I've re-edited the web page and checked in the html code it refers"CODEBASE ="ftp://ftp.ni.com/support/labview/runtime/windows/2014/LVRTE2014min.exe" and I have, according to MAX, LabView DURATION 14.0.1 installed on the host machine.

  If something has changed related LabView 2014 which would cause a new firewall as this remote façade program worked great with 2013 installed?  I've already added that LabVIEW 2014 and all other related apps through the firewall, including the web server.  I am also on a machine that doesn't have a Bluecoat, our company network/internet security suite is installed.

  Another possible solution to this problem - operator error.

  See one of my other posts here for details, but I made an assumption about the port numbers and what they apply to.  Two key points - the port of the web server application in the configuration of hardware web page is not the port used to access the remote panel - port is assigned in the properties of the device, the server settings remote control panel in the project.  And they cannot use the same port; This will also lead to the error "server does not support the remote panels.

  Note to the NOR - you must add this to your KB document on the resolution of this error.

  I () will have applications of measure which changes, sends a bitmap image in its Panel to a network Variable.

  I have a player that connects to the network variable. It was a reminder that fires on an update of the value or the State. Because the size of the bitmap is variable, recall retrieves the size of the bitmap, adapts to the size of the Group and its control of the single photo and copy the bitmap to the image control.

  It seems as if the reminder runs in the same thread that is different from the hand. The Panel with image control is to build (using NewPanel) since even when updated its tire recall the first time. It is a toplevel with Windows minimize/maximize/close panel. A hidden control is used to connect a callback to the closing of Windows. Resizing and display once and update the network variable works very well. However, I'm not able to move the Panel by picking up with the mouse. (During recovery mode debugging, parameters, GetPanelAttribute reports that it is mobile).  I'm not able to close the cover with the closing of Windows.

  I built any additional features (such as the management of Windows messages) for this Panel. I need only as an indicator to display a bitmap image.

  What should I do to make it a chattel or able to close?

  Depending on how you connect to the network variable, the function is actually called in a separate thread: this document examines all available methods to read of an NV and lists the features for each of them, execution of the thread includng.

  To resolve this problem, you can modify your application so that the Panel is created in the main thread or in an explicit Candran, which calls ProcessSystemEvents () so that the user is properly managed. The drive function could then retrieve information from the NV, decode and send all data to this thread via a thread safe queue or some other method.

  You must refer to each control, and then build under a table. Give this table to the property node using the loop.

  With SIT 5.0 and later versions you can use a free compiler as described here:

• WinHlp32.exe - moving from XP to Vista

  I would move the program above from my XP computer to my new Vista, but the system allow me to do so. I currently have the old winhlp32 on the Vista desktop, where I can access when I run Borland Builder 6. The help button in the search generator in the Windows program folder, but I can bring up the old one and the move towards the help file appropriate. It works, but it is awkward. Is it possible I can do Vista I would replace the version of Vista, which only says: "Sorry." with the XP version of this program? It would disrupt something else?

• Error memory in the construction of modules with Module

  OPA dear developers,

  Need your help around one of the new features of 10.4 OPA's Modules.

  I have two rulebases A and B.  While the modules A, I would like to be able to determine the results of the policies written in modules B.  So I created a module off B modules (select Build Module), has opened the project to the modules A and connected the output B modules in modules A .rmod (folder Modules > add a Module link..)

  When I try to debug without screens, construction is successful and I am able to investigate the rules in here B modules.  However, when I debug with screens, build and run for CONTROLLED substances, or build and run in OWD, they all prompt a strace pile on the screen.  The cause of the exception is a "means: Java heap space".

  If I build separately these rulebases, it works very well and no errors.  It happens when one becomes the other module.  How this error memory can be fixed?  I paste the entire error message below in the hope of helping the investigation.  (Sorry for the long text..)

  You can increase the size of the segment for the built-in Tomcat server.

  In OPM, go to tools > Options > Embedded Server, you should see under "Server Properties":

  You can just up the memory of something like:

  I normally encountered this in rulebases with many alleged (and deducted from the instances) relationships / aliasing / scope of operators etc... You can try your performance rules ensuring that the common logic is grouped in a single intermediate attribute rather than explicitly used each time.

  I don't know if it's the 'official' line but this has worked for me in the past.

  When I add several tables to the query generator window graphic in SQL Developer I get automatically all possible variants of joins between them. Tables in the database have multiple foreign keys, and even with a few tables, the net of the linkages between them become quite incomprehensible. The only way to work around that I have found is to manually remove all the links after each addition to the table. It's still very painful and embarrassing, and of course with each new table there are a greater number of links to delete. It is possible to add a table to the query generator without automatically creates links?

  There is no preferences to control the Query Builder, but rather than leave a request it via drag & drop of tables/views of the tree of the browser, why not start instead with the spreadsheet by typing in something very minimal as:

  SELECT * FROM JOB_HISTORY, JOBS, EMPLOYEES, LOCATIONS
  

  Then, switch to the Query Builder tab (just not joined tables will appear) and add the joints as you wish. The completion feature Insight can help speed up by typing the name of the table/view and can also avoid a performance problem with Query Builder drag & drop.

  First of all, I want to say thank you for helping.

  I'm new to javascript and coding in general, but I think I was learning and pick up the coding of websites like this one.  I do a form using acrobat 3D 8.1.0 pro adobe.  I have a combobox that I have a list of a bunch of places.  The combobox control is set to export a result letter or digit 3 or 4 that is unique to this site.  I then implemented a saveas on blur due to the selection.  It's that everything is working properly.

  However, I have several hundreds of radioboxes and text boxes in the document.  This document will be used for type-approval tests and I don't want to lose all the data accidentally so I want to save after each selection or input in the text boxes.

  Here is my code for the combobox control.

  I struggled with the saveas and I don't want to create a new file each time, so I created a hidden text box that has the file name.  I was hoping that I could read just this textbox and saveas using the name of the original file.  (The above script use time in the name of the file so it would create a new name of file per second)  The hidden text box gets the values correctly and works fine.

  I tried several different methods of javascript on the radio buttons and text areas.  On the radio, I tried all the options mouse, but I was hoping to use the mouse to the top.  Text boxes that I want to use the mouse, the blur.   Here are some scripts that I have tried.  I want it to be automatic and I want to crush every time without guests.

  You should be close. You can call your level backup of records as a script of the mouse event to the top of each option button, get the file name of the masked text box, which said you was working.

  There is no action, which allows to directly control the player. It depends on your hardware configuration, some engines step by step has a serial interface and also the device the vbai is running on other devices of movement has a digital input and some vbai devices have outputs digital that may be used for this.
