  A few days ago I installed upgrading Windows Laserjet 1022n on my Windows 7 64 bit and since then I can not print a page normally: the page does not print. I use a TCP/IP network port.

  I made several attempts to resolve this problem:

  -uninstall the printer driver and install it again (I tried the latest version on the HP site and an older one that worked perfectly before)

  -update the firmware of the printer to the latest version on the HP site.

  When I put the printer in pause and start the print job, you can see in the list. Resumption of the printer, printing starts on the printer but you see that the job remains in the list, flashes again and again. The printer keeps printing the same page.

  I don't know what I can do to solve this problem. There is no way to uninstall the update of the HP Laserjet 1022n software because it does not appear in the list of installed programs (course list is also op updates from windows updates).

  I have same problem printing to the same printer from another PC Windows 7 (with the same windows update done)

  But I have no problem printing with my laptop on an other network printers.

  Just uncheck the chekbox "enable two-way communication" on the "Ports" tab of the properties of the printer and it works normally again!

  3. you receive an error message?

  4. What is the version of Windows installed on the computer?

  You cannot uninstall any program from safe mode.

  It is possible that some third-party programs installed on the computer is causing the problem.

  I suggest that you perform a clean boot and check.

Click full service scan, and then Quick scan (full scan takes a long time to complete). Try the patches.

  The updates take time depending on the size of the file. If the update has hung so I suggest you hard reboot the computer and see if you can boot to the desktop. If you can boot to the desktop and then the updates are not installed will appear and which will be installed during the next update.

  Once done with the step above after starting the computer on the desk. I suggest that reset you Windows Update components and perhaps that should take care of the updates. install the updates by selecting two both than some updates system needs to reboot for the changes to take effect.

  Windows Update automatic updates have been lacking on my laptop since October 11 (there were 15 updates, lack of each stop). I found a thread that stated that I could download and install the updates manually and was able to do this for all the updates except for the following two:

  Because I couldn't drive recovery Finally, creating (cross posted on original HP displayed error RECOVERY DISK FAILED to CREATE and on the COMMUNITY MICROSOFT) I decided to rebuild using the from HP recovery disk.

  The HP System Recovery discs, which reformatted the drive and reinstalled the operating system and pre-installed software applications. After the system recovery, I used update of the HP Support Assistant to check the bios/driver/application HP updates, then started running updates of Windows to try to get a current. After several reboots, there are 195 Microsoft Updates installed.

  I now have the following Windows Update ISSE:

  Whenever I start the computer these 3 windows updates continue to fail (KB2667402, KB2655992, KB2807986) also failed KB976932

  kb2667402 8024200d error code.

  kb2655992 8024200d error code.

  kb2807986 error 800b0100 code

  and SP1 kb976932 error 800b0100 code

  But Service Pack 1 and the 3 security updates always fail.

  I ran the/scannow spc.exe without any problems be detected/fixed.

• need help with windows update failures

  I'm really becoming disillusioned and anrgy. In the last 5 weeks or so I installed Windows 7 on at least 11 PCs,... and in all cases, bar 1, I am facing the same problem. I use the Start button, windows update to check for updates after a new installation, sometimes in a few seconds, I get the red error message, other times the normal practice of verification of updates begins. Invariably, nothing happens except the window Windows Update appears to 'disappear' or forget it works, so I start it again, wait forever and finally get the Red writes the error message. I tried the windows online and offline "Fixit and the right sequence is repeated continuously." Yesterday morning at 04:00 [if there are 36 hours] I completed a new installation, over the next 24 hours, I have to have rebooted and retried the windows update at least 4 times. I also tried a couple of different ' FixIt. This morning, becoming almost ready to... Yet once, I tried to use the updates. He did what he normally does... the scan, check... check... NOPE! nothing for you. So I tried the specific 'fixit' MicrosoftFixit.wu.LB.7235772074748435.1.1.Run it tooks ages and ages to complete... but once it was over, no changes because no errors not found. Immediately, I opened windows update via the Start button, click on check for updates... and immediately got written red error with updates.
