Controller HSDL on D20 4155

I tried to get a HSDL controller to work on my D20.

It Dosent appear in the BIOS, during installation or in the management of devices, once windows installed on another drive.

I tried the controller into another machine and it works fine.

Any ideas?

Got it working by disabling the cmos.

    * Edited on behalf of the correct platform in the thread title

My memory fades a bit on this one, but I think we would normally install radiators memory on D20 whenever there is 4 GB or RDIMMs magnification in use.  Keep in mind at the time D20 launched, 4 GB RDIMMs are among the available DIMM big, and many had heatspreaders installed on them because of the power they use.  As technology DIMM moved forward, I think that the dissipated power is down.

That being said, it probably wouldn't hurt to have if you are concerned about the time of the memory.

  • Lack of driver Windows XP on a D20

It seems to me to miss a final driver during the installation of Windows XP (32-bit) on a D20 4155 - 68U. I was wondering if someone could help me with anything of this unit. The Instance ID of the device is ROOT\ * PNP0C31\PNPBIOS_1. Thanks in advance.

I ended up finding it works. For some reason any unit ID and the real TPM driver match even when installing the software. However, I finally extract the Broadcom TPM driver on the msi package and forcing then to the device and it comes up that it works correctly. Normally I wouldn't do this, but the TPM module was the only thing that has not actually registered to the devices. Everything seems to be good now. Thank you.

  • D20 problem of configuration of Windows Server 2008 R2 / 1 x SATA HD / 4 x SATA SSD

    Hi all

I have a Mod D20. 4155 and want to use next to it is by default SATA HDD SATA SSD four disks of virtual machines. Windows Server 2008 R2 will be the OS with the use of its Hyper-V features.

I have Aproblem with detection of drives in the configuration of the operating system. All 5 disks are visible in the Marvell controller BIOS setup. It is possible to configure a RAID on the SSD, etc, but I don't "see" any disk in the configuration of the operating system. I tried to load additional drivers in the part of the Setup utility GUI, but it did not work. I tried with the driver Marcell SAS and Intel Matrix driver, both located at http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/migr-72280.html.

Suggestions for the BIOS of the PC / BIOS Marvell / OS installation configurations?

    Best regards, Chrischmi

    Hi all

I found the solution myself. After detection, the default drive is a SATA drive (and), I got the idea to test it on the Intel SATA controller. It was possible to install the spirit of the machine the disks attached to the Intel controller. After installation, I went to Device Manager and installed the driver of Lenovo Marvell, rekindled the Marvell controller disk and started the. Successfully. Yes!

On my way to the solution, I had another problem: in the setup of Windows GUI part, I got an error of 0 x 80300001 with Lenovo's Intel SATA driver. It was not possible to install windows Server on the SATA drive with reason0x80300001. very helpful post, Microsoft! (-) I decided to use the default Microsoft for the Intel SATA controller driver after a reboot. Installer executed well, but ended with an error 0 x 80070017 and problems of copy of (unknown) files. The solution (found after a few hours...) was to burn a new installation of Windows Server DVD. I don't want to talk about it anymore...

  • Windows Setup does not load driver Marvell D20

    Hello

Installation: D20, the Marvell controller are attached: 2xHDDs RAID1 and an Intel SSD in a RAID configuration.

The machine was initially installed with Windows 8.1 (on RAID1 disks), most later improved to W10.

After a recent, (unknown to me), Windows problem entered a loop 'ASR Preparation. "

I tried to use USB to recovery, but he did not see the drives.

At this stage, downloaded driver from Marvell of the lenovo Web site. Note that there is only the version W7/W8.

Tried to load the driver in Windows (for Windows 10) recovery, the load was successful, but start DISKPART after that froze the recovery. (Also tried to integrate the driver using NTLite, which resulted in recovery of freezing at startup).

Has given up trying to recover and created 10 Windows USB installation. When I'm at the stage of selection of drive installation and selected the pilot of the "Load driver" dialog, the installation get stuck and animation of course load just went on and on. Subsequently tried to create Windows 8.1 and same media to install Windows 7. Also, who is stuck on the step "load driver".

During the tests, I tried using different USB (version 3.0 and 2.0) drives. Also downloaded the driver for the Marvell from another Web site, just in case. Tried resetting the BIOS with the default settings. Nothing helps.

    Any ideas?

    Thank you.

Thanks for the reply, I thought I posted what the problem was, but apparently I forgot.

The problem turned out to be the SSD. BIOS and Windows recognized, but as soon as I/o operations were made, the player brought to stall. Even the first test SMART said the player was healthy, but the after run the test again, he has not done, and the drive is completely dead. Remove the SSD brought the machine back to life.

    Thanks again.

  • D20 + SATA ONLY + WINXP SP3 32 BIT

    Hi all

Testing a D20 for the company and can not get the D20 to run as a SATA drive only. Currently, its spinning the Marvell controller with a 500 GB drive in.

Have tried to get into the BIOS and disable the RAID controller but then I can't use the HD as just a SATA drive.

The only joy I had is to plug in a diskette with 32-bit controller Marvell drivers starting with Windows XP 32-bit, as he travels through install press F6 to install the drivers for the controller, and then once I hit continues to back installation/format disks, I get a blue screen of death. The strange thing is that if I use our WinXP SP3 32 bit copy of Microsoft license which it MUST be installed with I get the BSOD, but if I through in a Dell WinXP SP3 32 bit OS disk I can install the operating system without problem at all!

All I want to do is really disable the single use of SATA drive only (somehow) RAID controller and install WinXP SP3 32-bit using our copy of Microsoft Licensing with this blue screening!

    Any help would be fantastic!

    See you soon,.

  • D20 from Lenovo and Revodrive3 PCI

    Hello

I installed an OCZ Revodrive3 on my D20

At the time of startup, I get an error message "Expansion ROM not initialized".

Then the machine starts, but the primary disk SATA, not the Revodrive.

If I go into the BIOS to disable the verification of ROM SATA, then the error message disappears, the machine starts on the Revodrive, but then all the RAS for visible and not usable in Windows 7 SATA drives.

If anyone has a solution, I would be very happy to know.

I have tried almost every possible configuration in BIOS with always the same result.

I thank very you much in advance!

    Olivier

Thank you very much for your advice!

I've connected all my HARD drive on SATA black and completely disabled the Marvell controller connectors.

And now I see my two PCI RevoDrive3 and SATA disks.

  • Control external synth MIDI via USB keyboard controller

    Friends,

I'm trying to get a Novation Launchkey 25 to work as an external controller for mother-32 MOOG synthesizer.

    Software - Logic Pro 9

USB - LaunchKey 25 Novation keyboard controller

    Interface - Focusrite Scarlett 18I6

MacBook pro with current operating system

Currently I have the out of the Focusrite and towards the MOOG MIDI cable. The Launchkey is connected via USB on my Mac. Logic can see the keyboard and interface, but not the MOOG. I just want to control the MOOG mother 32 with the keys. I am at a loss on how to implement the logic. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you

    Steve

1 MIDI OUT of the Focusrite at noon on the MOOG.

    2. create an external MIDI track with the release (in the Inspector) on the MIDI OUTPUT Focusrite. Also assign the desired MIDI (or ALL) channel. Better, the use of the channel the MOOG is set up to receive on.

3 connect the headphones to the MOOG, to see if it is audio output. To get the audio MOOG through logic, you should run the audio Moog in the Scarlett outputs, create an Audio track, the value of channel inputs inputs use the MOOG, the value Preferences / Audio monitoring software allowed to logic. Allow recording the audio track. You can select two tracks (Audio and MIDI external) using shift/select, if necessary. Audio will come from Scarlett.

It is another way to analyze using a plugin, get that first day.

  • I just upgraded to logic 10.2.4 and now it does not recognize my controller - Yamaha P-95. Yamaha has no new drivers yet. Any suggestions?

I just upgraded to logic 10.2.4 (and 10.11.16) and El Capitan now logical does not recognize my controller - Yamaha P-95. Yamaha has no new drivers yet. RELOADED drivers available and tried different USB ports. The audio works fine. Any suggestions?

you need to ask Yamaha if they have a work-around or they intend to release the pilots, have a beta driver or what is their recommendation.

If the logic is compatible with the operating system then the problem is with the 3rd party controller, and the developer will have to answer it. Past that if you have a backup time machine an instance where worked together your controller, the software and the operating system you can restore to that point

  • Issues with the controller of Siri

I got the last Apple TV since Christmas, and lately, it seems that I might have a problem with the controller of Siri. When you place your finger to use the contact surface, for that one click-much like the glass mini is not defined in law if that makes sense.

Does not really affect the operation but is off-putting. If you want to just to click and press down, basically click twice on it records only one. Looking for a controller network & drivers FaceTime HD camera for the partition of Windows 10 (end of 2015) of the IMac. 10 Windows doesn't detect the WIFI network of Time Capsule, does not detect Face Time HD integrated camera, does not recognize SD card reader built in, up-down scrolling of Apple Magic Mouse work and finally and above all, guard clock reset to a time zone unknown if I detecting or not.

When booting in OS EL Capitan, everything works fine.

Scoured the internet for 3 days trying to solve this problem without success. Both systems support the blame for the problem: "not our fault. Ask the other guy. Why did you buy an IMac if you want Windows? "and vice versa.

  • what game controller (wheel) supports Mac OS el captain?

I would like to play a run on the Mac OS, in fact. But I couldn't find a wheel that works. Someone draw?

After a thorough search, it seems that none occurred for newest Mac and more recent versions of Mac OS X.

Mac aren't game machines really great in any case, now, and not a lot of flight or simulation driving games for Mac and OS X, either.

If you own an iDevice, there are a lot of racing games on iOS.

If you must have a motor controller to make the experience more authentic, you really need to look at the boxes of most popular game there to get your dose and you will have the best chance of finding a driving wheel game controller that IS compatible with the system of your choice.

You won't get it on your Mac.

    I'm sorry.

  • presentations keynote controller held in the hand

Apple used to provide a practical hand controller and undress for remote control on a Mac for Keynote presentations. It was excellent, but the device function and remote control was abandoned when infrared eliminated Apple MacBook/Pro. I know that there is a way to sync with iPhones and iPads and a Mac (Keynote) as a remote control, but these are too big to be of any use (think of conferences and presentations requiring the House and not be stagnant behind a forum). Any suggestions? Should I buy a third remote device now? If so, any suggestions? Thank you.

We use frequencies, computer pocket radio equipment remote controls Logitech, Kingston or Gyromouse.

They have a range of 100 feet and are robust and reliable.

Much cheeper than buying iPad or iPhone.

IM at a loss to understand your reasoning with tthat statement.
