  Newbie here. Well, I know that there's much out there on what I just spent the largest part of this holiday weekend trying to achieve. Here's what I'm trying to do:

  1. I have a bitmap png file that is large enough to accommodate the larger size of the screen.

  2. I need the title bar on a screen.

  3 I need bitmap scaling down to adjust the device existing rest area non-defilement as a background.

  4 I am on OS 5.0 or higher (am NOT interested by implementations of 4.x)

  5. I would like to use the setBackground (BackgroundFactory things if possible.

  First thing, I've tried:

I've seen all the posts that just say 'the search will give you an answer. " I searched for two days! What I don't understand is why the background don't lie not in the title bar? (It's below everything else!). I understand the definition of a new value for money approach, but I still couldn't it either works. The implementation of the missions I've tried always have cropped down image. There must be something obvious that I'm on. It can't just be this hard! I am at the point to forget the title bar and build my own that will sit on top of the background

  Any help would be appreciated! (Yes, I saw the screen explained as well).

  Well, after dinner, drinks and meditation I have revisted the questions. Here's my situation:

  My first implementation was:

  I think that my mistakes to be:

  a. the encoded image and image logical size is extracted from some forum posts. I miss-interpreted that the scale must take place before the call to the method BitmapFactory.createdBitmapBackground ().

  (b) "control" me was not recognizing that the BackgroundFactory.createBitmapBackground () method has an overload to allow not only the alignments of XY, but the 3rd parameter to indicate the appropriate size! DOH!

  My successful implementation is:

  this.getMainManager () .setBackground (BackgroundFactory.createBitmapBackground (backgroundBitmap, Background.POSITION_X_LEFT, Background.POSITION_Y_TOP, Background.REPEAT_SCALE_TO_FIT));

  No need to do any scaling before the call so I can eliminate my routines of support for 'Utilities '. It seems to work very well. In addition, all this is done against the Manager of vertical not with default scrolling field, i.e. I don't have to create a subordinate value.

  If anyone knows the faults of the above, let me know. It seems to work correctly. I'll be making additional GUI development now (probably I will have others not of fake beginner!)

  I am trying to create a little VI, in which the user selects the number of columns and rows in a table, and after clicking on a button 'OK', the table control is displayed in the control panel (to be filled in by the user). To do this, I use the nodes property to the number of columns and lines. I have no problem with that.

  However, I want to "limit" the size of the control table (control of himself, not the dimensions of the table) and make use of vertical and horizontal table, the scroll bars. I want to avoid it is that passes type 100 user and 100 lines and appears a huge table control.

  With a table control, you cannot set the display size to be anything other than a multiple of a complete cell.

  If you are limited to a number of lines and columns.  If you want to resize with more control you also need to resize the control within the Bay, accessible via the property 'picture Element '.

  Another option (but seems huge exaggerated) is to place your table in a secondary and set the size of the secondary to the size you need and enable scrollbars for her.  It is not an option that I would choose but if it helps...

  All the problems you describe are problems that could occur if the user that you are connected without administrator privileges.  The quick check of administrator privileges must right click on the button 'start '.  If "Open All Users" is one of the choices that appear, then you have administrator privilege.  Otherwise, you must connect to your machine like the built-in 'administrator' or a user in the group "Administrators".

  Assuming that you have administrator privileges, things get more complicated.  User rights can be granted or denied to any user - even administrators - by group policy.  If you are an administrator and you have XP Pro, then you might be able to check or change the user rights by using the Group Policy Editor (from-> Run-> "gpedit.msc").  Search in the:

  Computer configuration-> Windows settings-> security settings-> local policies-> user rights

  path.  One of these user rights is "Change the System Time".  If your XP Pro machine was never part of a domain, I would consider also running a program anti-malware on your system.

  If you have XP Home Edition, you don't have the Group Policy Editor.  You will need to check / adjust / modify your user rights by using the command line program "NTRights" provided with the Resource Kit.  Problems like that with XP Home would raise my suspicions that you have a malware infestation.

• Not able to scan from the printer to my computer control panel using the HP Photosmart 5510

  Hello

  I recently bought the new HP Photosmart 5510 all in one - and I am not able to scan from my printer to my computer.

  I am however able to scan by launching the scan of the computer. I talked to HP customer earlier this evening and we ran printing + scan doctor and can't find any problems.

  I am running Windows 7-64 bit and that you have installed my wireless printer using the Installation CD supplied with the printer today.

  I could not finish troubleshooting with the technician that I talked to because I had to go to work. The person that I spoke with proposed possibly the full functionality of software downloaded from the hp.com site, which I'm happy to do, but I think that it is useless, because I have the CD of installation here. (The rep that I talked to was very nice, but I prefer not to have to uninstall and reinstall if it is not necessary)

  Because as I mentioned above, everything works perfectly and I am able to scan - but not directly from the printer itself.

  When I try to scan from my printer to my computer an error message appears on the control panel of the printer indicating that: there is no scan destination options of analysis chosen / no..

  However, I can't find anywhere with my HP software where I could add / make sure that the destinations were there. (As I could on my other printers. (IE. By the solution Center)

  This printer does not appear to be a solution center that I could find and the scanner installed with the CD icon doesn't give me any options regarding changing the settings of the parser

  I wonder:

  1. the Hp Photosmart 5510 does not have the capacity to scan from the printer control panel?

  2 OR the CD installation provided with my printer only has the base drivers as the agent of tech support suggested? Which means to scan from my printer I need to download drivers for your hp Web site?

  Follow the steps below to uninstall and reinstall the printer.

  1. open Control Panel

  2. click on uninstall a program

  3 uninstall the Photosmart 6510 in the list

  4 restart your computer

  5. download and install the latest version of Adobe flash player

  6 download the drivers and full software functionality, and then reinstall the printer.

  I'm a bit of a technophobe, but I'll try to explain my problem, I got better.  I recently had a problem with Windows 8 and refreshed my system.  After refreshing, I installed AVG Anti-virus and that's where my problems really started.  After installing AVG I have no sound and my control panel usually pop up.  The box is displayed but there is nothing in it and it sorts just of sticks, frozen.  I tried the fixes recommended to fix my sound. The speaker in my taskbar icon has a red x on it and when I try to open it it goes right to the problem-solving mode, then comes up with "one or more of the audio service is not running.  When I try "run services.msc' and try to start Windows Audio through Services I get error 0x800706cc.  I tried to uninstall AVG and reboot, but it did make a difference.  Please help, this leads me to the madness now.  Nothing I try seems to work!

  Installation of AVG is when the problems started, I would start by undoing that.  Since the normal uninstall did not help, use system restore to return to a work situation.  Check here and use the #1 option.

The question is on the Page series created for this app Engine control I couldn't search for the command ID run added.  Once I have click on the 'Add a new value' and add this id the app engine works very well and also in the out put it prints this added control to run ID. But when I go out to do something else and come back to this page to find the Id of control recently added, I don't find any value.

  Surprisingly the other process where I use run control IDS added run ID of control.

  Sorry about that. Since there were a lot of mistakes in your code I just fixed all. But you are right that even after he still not actually saved it to the SO.

  A possible cause of this message, it is that Firefox is configured to run as administrator.

  Make sure that Firefox is not set to run as administrator.

  Right click on the desktop Firefox shortcut and choose "Properties".

  Make sure that all items are disabled in the tab "Compatibility" of thz

  • Privilege level: "Run this program as Administrator" should not be selected
  • "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" must not be selected

• I can not even open FF because the profile is not found, even after using the profile in order to create a new profile.

  I've recently upgraded to version 40 39.0.3. The first upgrade was not so I removed FF using the control panel (uninstall program). I reinstalled again, but I got the messages that FF was already running, etc. as other users have noticed. I open profiles (Open firefox.exe - p) and tried to open FF with the "default" profile that did not work. I created a new profile ("defaultuser") and FF open. (I have the box checked to use the new profile on startup). I have created FF as I wanted it, and then exit. When I started later FF, the profile is not found. The profile did not have the "defaultuser" profile, does not open with the "default" profile, but would a new profile must be created and FF to open and run. Quit FF and reopen produces the same sequence (profile not found, etc.) I uninstalled 40 and reinstalled version 39.0.3 and I have the same problems with this version (39.0.3), plus he's starting the upgrade to version 40, and soon as I complete the installation again.
