• Conversion of Publisher for Dreamweaver

  I am new to Dreamweaver (only open for the first time this morning). The company that I work has an existing Web site that was created by using a file editor. I am in charge of taking the editor file and converting it into Dreamweaver. Y at - it a simple way to do this, or do I have to manually re-create our webiste in Dreamweaver?

  I haven't had time to really become a professional when it comes to regular expressions, and unfortunately, I need one a conclusion it's hard wrap the head around.

• Best web server IIS or Linux for Dreamweaver CS4?

  I'm mainly a developer using IIS 7 .NET framework, Visual Studio 2008 did a horrible job of web development of the GUI, good in support of the database, but its ability to produce beautiful front-end is horrible and extremely bug.  so... I'm looking to Dreamweaver CS4 and I'm about to buy a GoDaddy hosting solution and have to decide if I should go with Linux or IIS.

  So my question:

  1. who is the platform is best for Dreamweaver CS4?  IIS or Linux?

  2. what additional components (if any) my hosting service will need to have installed on the web server to get all the benefits of the production of CS4?

  3. is there something in CS4 where I can specify my web server platform?

  All except point 5 are objects on the client and nothing to do with your server.

  In regard to point 5 the I advise to use Linux with php/mysql.

  The full list of why these versions and which php extensions, you should have depends on your future needs, but check with the web site of e-commerce on their requirements for php as well.

  Some of you may share you the experience with the transfer of the files from Expression til DW?

  The expression can export and import what they call a Web Package, an .fwp file. Can I transfer the website of exp to DW via a file of this type.

  I would appreciate any help and comments on this topic.

  If you have HTML, CSS, and JavaScript files on your computer, there is nothing of import/export.

  Simply define a local site folder in DW by going to the Site > new Site.

  Say DW where is the folder of your site on your hard drive.

• IE browser OK on my Web site (MS Expression Web)... of the internal hyperlinks OK... but using the links in firefox on only the first page (default.htm) key doesn't work.

  Doesn't work on the url below the single page, in part, is not on the website... buttons on top. Internal hyperlinks do not work in Firefox, so that they do it in IE. There are other hypertext links on this page, not attached to a button, which works. (Buttons on other pages in the Web site are work.) It is just this defualt.htm a page presenting the problem.) The program used for the Web site is Microsoft Expression Web first version upgrade of MS FrontPage.

  The row of blue buttons? For some strange reason, MS Expression Web is superimposing an empty table in front of the table that contains the buttons. IE allows you to click on a transparent element but Firefox does not work, if you find yourself clicking on the useless empty table.

  In your editor, place in the HTML mode and search for layer47. This is a < div > element that contains an image. It is followed by a < table > that has the same number of cells as the table with buttons, but in this table all the white cells. Delete this table, record and retest.

  I evaluate Windows 8 and Expression Web 4 stopped working. I have SP2 loaded, but it will not start on my desktop computer. It still works fine on my laptop that is running Windows 7. It tells me that expression Web 4 working on Windows 8, but not for me. When I try to run, I get a message "you have zero days to activate. If I press 'Activate' it tells me that it is already activated and closes its doors. I also tried the fix to:

  Hello everyone, I have a Windows XP Pro SP3 and Office 2003 Standard (latest version of Windows + installed Office updates) and I installed a trial of Microsoft Expression Web 3 and updated to SP2. I decided, after the trial, I want to keep the software. However, he refuses to uninstall.
