  I did no harm to preview the files .php in expression web once the server is set up, but I want to get an overview of all THE files via the expression development server because once I saw a HTML file, links to php files don't work because the html files preview default to the file:///C : location that does not correctly display the php files. There is an option in settings-> Preview Site that allows all files preview with the expression development server. But when you click it, it is unclicks when the dialog box is closed. Something prevents "all files" option to work. No one knows what to do to activate this option? Thank you.

• File Transfer issue between 10.4.11 + 4.4 Android phone

  Hello.

  I recently got a Polaroid link 6 "A6WH smartphone, Google Android KitKat 4.4 running, and despite being told of Polaroid that I should be able to transfer files (ie. photos, music, videos) between this phone and a G4 aluminum PowerBook running OS 10.4.11 (old, Yes, I know!), I can't. I was told that I have to download Android File Transfer, which I did, but it didn't work (it only works on OS 10.5). Android File Transfer is Version 1.0 - I don't think that there is no earlier version.

  I tried to search on this forum and elsewhere online, some have suggested other programs, such as AirDroid, but when I tried to download them, they would not work with OS 10.4.11.

  I was able to transfer files over a Bluetooth connection - and only from the computer (and not vice versa). The USB cable provided with the phone doesn't seem to work (anyway) without a program to make it easier.

  Any suggestions for transfer files (ie. photos, music, videos) between these devices - via the USB port, or even simply through Bluetooth, back from the phone to the computer?

  Also, are all the programs available to convert video to MP4 format files, as I can't get the phone to open any other format - BTW, free is better!)

  Note: I would have gotten an iPhone, except for the fact that we tried to get rid of some AirMiles points that were about to expire, and they have not one!

  I have (and have had) smartfones non-Apple for some time

  To transfer ALL kinds of files, I just use an intermediary "cloud service".

  * NOTE: Dropbox is more supported by OS X Tiger with their desktop app - but access via the Web site is not affected (I use TenFourFox: a fork of Mozilla Firefox ESR 38 for Power Macintosh and Mac OS X Tiger PowerPC as a browser)

• Microsoft free hosting of images using Microsoft Expression Web 2?

  Microsoft has a hosting service which can make use of an older Expression 2 Web application?  HTML Basic and ASP.  It should unless it has substaintial changes to the Expression 4.  I want to move my site to MS and not hitting an obstacle.  Thank you.

• Cannot install MS Expressions Web 3

  Finally received my DVD recognized using FixIt and tried to install a new program (Expression Web 3) got an error message "could not load file or assembly 'Microsoft.Expression.Licensing, Version = 3.0.0.0, Cultur neutral =, PublicTokenKey = 31bf385ad364e35' or one of its dependencies."  Error when executing a paging operation.  (HRESULT:0x800703E7 exception.  Oops, my dvd disappeared again.  What is going on?

• Cannot transfer the file to WCS 5508 - Code file transfer failed - unknown error - refer to log

  Hi all

  This is my first time here posting. I have some difficulty to transfer files to my WCS 5508. My intention is to upgrade to

  6.0.196.0 to 7.4. We recently bought 2602i access points and we need to update our controller software so that the controller save the new access points. I also improved the interface controller 7.0.240 WCS software.

  However, I have not been successful transfer the file to the controller for the upgrade.

  I have tried everything I know:

  * transfer the file of different programs including tftp32d and solarwinds TFTP server

  * transfer the file of different applications such as FileZilla and FTPD FTP server

  * transfer the WCS web interface file

  * running a direct connection to the WLC with a static IP address on the interface

  * verified that there are no interfering firewalls with transfer

  * adjusted times waiting and pads as a result

  I get no error message on my software FTP or TFTP, which would indicate something wrong with the applications. I think it is a bug with the controller.

  The transfer reachers about 97MB before it fails.

  Here are the error messages I get when I run "transfer of debug output all" from the CLI of the controller

  Well... Since you're WCS, v7.0.x is the only code that are supported for the WCS.  Look here.

  So the trick to this is downgrade to v7.0.x and add the WLC WCS and then go to v7.2.121.0.  As long as the WLC is added and is attached to the WCS, you can upgrade.  If the WLC is not attached, you will never get to add with a more recent version of the code.

• expression web 4 "the server has expired. Current request did not complete

  Expression Web 4 begins to open with this indicator.  I get this indicator over and over again.  I can't insert a picture, make a miniature, or save the file without dozens of these indicators.  ECCHHHH!  I have never in all my years with FrontPage already had so much trouble editing.  I can't do something productive right now.  a disaster.  It is necessary to have Expression Encoder, Design, etc.?  Is there something to do behind the scenes that I should turn off.  My site is only 1.48 GB.  Became too big for this product to manage?

  I tried to install Expression Web 4 on Windows 8, but the installation progress bar seems to go in the opposite direction and then I get the next newspaper. Any ideas on what I can do to get it fixed?

• Of Treo 680 Bluetooth file transfer

  I am trying to send a file using Bluetooth on my PC (Vista) on my treo 680.  I know that they are paired correctly because I can hotsync via the bt connection.  However, when I try to send a file (.txt) via the Bluetooth connection, windows tells me "invalid argument was provided.  Anyone can shed some light on this problem?

  At this point you may need to contact the manufacturer of your PC and see if your PC Bluetooth stack has the service available for file transfer. If you follow the instructions on the Web page I provided about sending files via Bluetooth, then the issue may be with your PC Bluetooth.

  We strive to thinapp Expression Web 3, but after thinapping, asked a product key, which we don't have.

  We work with a DVD of license of Volume of MS where a product key is not required.

  When you open the application on the installed machine, we are asked not to this key.

  When you open the thinapp, we are.

  The only error we get is a

  I keep getting kicked off a remote connection and you have to start over.

  As far as I KNOW not.  If you get a lot of down time during long sessions of data transfer, try using a dedicated as Cute, WS_FTP, or Filezilla FTP commodity.
