Conversion is not copy data
I modified the example application command line allowing possibly thin discs put in service. When a thin available property is set to true, the following block of code is executed in the function "BuildCloningParams".
if (_vmThinProvision) { converterStorageParams.targetDiskParams = new ConverterStorageParamsManagedTargetDiskParams[_sourceLogicalVolumeInfo.Length]; ConverterStorageParamsManagedTargetDiskParams targetDiskParams = new ConverterStorageParamsManagedTargetDiskParams(); int volumeCount = 0; foreach (ConverterComputerOsInfoLogicalVolumeInfo volumeInfo in _sourceLogicalVolumeInfo) { targetDiskParams.sourceDiskId = volumeInfo.volumeId; targetDiskParams.diskType = "vmfsMonolithicFlatThinProvisioned"; targetDiskParams.datastoreName = _vmDatastoreName; converterStorageParams.targetDiskParams[volumeCount] = targetDiskParams; volumeCount++; } }
The question is when this provision of the code is run (when _vmThinProvision is set to true), the virtual machine is created successfully, but no data is never copied/converted to the new virtual machine. In the vCenter Converter management console, it just shows work as compeleted immediately (and shows no error).
If _vmThinProvision is false (and this block of code is not executed), then the conversion works correctly and the data is copied. Obviously there is something in this little block of code that is not correctly say the agent migrates the data, but I can't understand what it is.
Any ideas what could be causing the problem? Thank you.
You mix * disk * ID with * volume * IDs. The discs are "physical" storage The volumes are "drive letters" the OS sees. After querying the source, you get two tables - one with "ofConverterStorageInfoDiskInfoand the other is with 'ConverterStorageInfoVolumeInfo's. Each entry has a diskId or volumeId respectively. VolumeInfo holds the diskId to the drive where the volume is physically assigned. Each volume can have several "diskId to cover the case of dynamic disks (i.e. one volume spanning across multiple disks). When you do P2V Converter is cloning * volumes * (in other words, what operating system sees, because it also offers the possibility of taking snapshots on the level of volume rather than at the level of the disc). You must give each volume ID desired on the target in the target storage settings source.
Now, when you create the storage schema target mapping is a little different. You have an array of targetDiskParams (that you create), but sourceDiskId Member should be valid * disc ID * on the source, but you put * volume ID * it. Each instance of ConverterStorageParamsManagedTargetDiskParams was a member of ConverterStorageParamsVolumeCloningParams . It holds all the * volumes * you want to be placed on the disk target. Note that, with this structure, you cannot specify multiple disks of a volume, which means that each volume is entirely contained in a single disk on the target (no dynamic disks).
So, to get to your problem, you need to specify a * valid source ID disk * and an array of volume cloning params for each instance of targetDiskParams. Each instance of VolumeCloningParams must specify a * volume valid source ID *. Volumes not mentioned in the target disk params will be ignored during conversion.
You don't need to look at ConverterComputerOsInfoLogicalVolumeInfo.

Hi all
Data Currency Adjustment of entity are not copied through rule when we try to copy the data from one entity to another entity for the same account if the account is to have only the data entity Currency Adjustment but rule the data copied correctly when the entity is to have Exchange entity adjustments and currency of the entity.
Wrote the rule to copy the values from the source account ' entity currencies Total "to target the currency of the account"entity ". Rule works as follows:
1. If the source account's currency of the entity and entity Currency Adjustment, total value ECT (EC + ECA) copy correctly to currency of the entity to the target account. -OK
2. If the source account's single currency entity (has no entity value Currency Adjustment) then under rule copy data properly to account currency of the target entity. -OK
3 but if the source account has only entity Exchange adjustments (has no value of currency of the entity) and then under rule is not copy of account currency of the entity of the target data. -Requirement
Could you please see the rule below and please suggest possible solution to copy the Court of Auditors with the help of ECT when the source account has only ECA.

I just got a pavilion DV6-7010us... I have always used the INSERT key when I copy data and insert into a message, chat screen, document... this computer has a key of INS/PRT SC. I can't get the key to insert data into almost anything. How do you use this key? or is there another way to insert data that you copied, into something... ??? I'm used to use Shift + Insert key on my old laptop. Right now, I try to keep in my mind to use the mouse to insert data... but would like to be able to use the key on the laptop keyboard.
Is there a way to do it?
Thank you
Barbara
You must identify your laptop for each of us to have a clue as to what looks like your keyboard. There are so many models of HP to be precise.
Remove the battery and look for the label that says p/n. Post this string alphanumeric together here. It is your HP product number. G6 or dv6 and dv7 are all just model numbers.
You can also do this by using Ctrl + C to copy and Ctrl + V to paste. That's what most people use to copy and paste in most applications and productivity programs.
Because Windows 7 has the capture tool, I didn't even use the Ins or Prt Scr.

Hi rebick,.
Welcome to Microsoft Answers Forums.
We would like to get more information about you to help solve your problem. You better, please answer the following questions.
- When was the last time it worked?
- Remember to make changes to the computer recently?
First of all, I would say that you unplug any external drive connected to the computer except the keyboard and mouse.
This error message can occur if there is some system files corrupted on your computer. Suggest to run a SFC scan, which would be a search for system files corrupted on the computer and replace them.
Scan SFC enforcement procedure:
1. click on the Start button
2. on the Start Menu, click all programs followed by accessories
3. in the menu accessories, right-click on command line option
4. in the drop-down menu that appears, click the "Run as Administrator" option
5 If you have the enabled User Account Control (UAC) you will be asked to consent to the opening of the command line. You simply press the button continue if you are the administrator or insert password etc.
6. in the command prompt window, type: sfc/scannow then press enter
7. a message is displayed to indicate that "the analysis of the system will start.
8. be patient because the analysis may take some time
9. If all the files need replace SFC will replace them. You may be asked to insert your Vista DVD for this process to continue
10. If all goes although you should, after the analysis, see the following message "Windows resource protection not found any breach of integrity.
11 after the scan finished, close the command prompt window reboot the computer and check.
The analysis may take some time, so be patient. Windows allows to fix corrupt or missing files it finds. If the information of the installation CD is required to fix the problem, you may be asked to insert your Windows Vista.

If the step above does not resolve the issue, I would say that you create a new user on the computer account.
Log on to the new user account and check if you can create a system restore point.
- Open user accounts by clicking the Start button, clicking Control Panel, clicking user accounts and family safety, then clicking on user accounts.
- Click on manage another account. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
- Click on create a new account.
- Type the name you want to assign to the user account, click an account type, and then click on create an account.

Sorry, it's the problem with computers. They do what you tell them and not always what you want to do. I must say that you learned the hard way, why it is important to back up your important data. If this isn't a "finger control", it could be a virus, it could be a faulty hard drive, could be fire or theft, or could be a lost a laptop or tablet computer. To paraphrase an old expression, things to.
Good luck.

BlackBerry Smartphones copy data in passing password
Is it possible to copy data from a Word (or Excel) document in password keeper? Could send you the Word or Excel document to yourself, open the doc on your BB and then copy and paste into P'word Keeper? I would like suggestions/ideas for how to do this. I have a considerable number of passwords and it would be easier to type in Word or Excel, copy and paste them into Passwork Keeper. (I recognize that for security reasons, I would remove the document, etc..). Thank you.
Yes, you are sending the document and all just copy and paste in Word/Excel document for the purposes of PK would work.
There is not a more simple import in password keeper function.
If you want a more complete application of password keeper, check out DataVault or KeePass.

Form Validation failure: "value is not a date and time in the format"
Hello world
I am facing a weird problem in my custom OAF page. I'm displaying the records of a particular table through dynamic VO and dynamic array. All records appear correctly. But when I try to click on NEXT 10 records in a table, I get the error like "FAILED FORM VALIDATION: 1000 ORG CUST BO VERSION is not a date and time in the format. Just like in the screenshot below.
Strange part of the question, if I select the columns to display not related to this day, so I only am not facing problems. If I select only dates to display and also am not facing this problem. If I use the mixture of this type varchar2 and data, I get this error.
I tried to change the type of data but no use.
If we close, look at the PARTY_ID error message trying to copy its data to ORG_CUST_BO_VERSION the last column. Why what's happening clue me less. Can anyone guide me on this please?
The problem is that you use the same name for the creation of the MessageTextInputBean inside the Table.
The name of MessageTextInputBean make it dynamic.
ex: -.
OAMessageTextInputBean oamessage = (OAMessageTextInputBean) createWebBean (pageContext,
MESSAGE_TEXT_INPUT_BEAN,
NULL,
'text' + columnNo);
See you soon

Composite planning form, copy data from one tab to the other?
This is something I've heard of someone who did but have not actually seen. The requirement is to copy data from an existing entity to a new entity as a means of values seedlings early in the budget cycle. I was thinking about a form of 'source' and a form of 'target' within a composite shape. A calc would make a copy. After copying the Scheduler can manually adjust values, or type values in the accounts that the source had no data.
If someone did please let me know how you did and what looked like the calc.
Thank you!

Hello
Yes, this can be done in several ways. The calc script would be similar to what is mentioned above. But in regards to the copy, you can also create a menu on the source form set a rule of company on the menu and start the copy that also offer users the ability to choose several invited outside of the entity if necessary.
Thank you

REMOTE schema is MERUDEV
network_link DEVELOPMENT impdp = schema MERU_DEV_LOCAL_DEV = MERUDEV remap_schema = MERUDEV:DEVELOPMENT TABLE_EXISTS_ACTION = REPLACE
But the copy of the table does not occur. What could be the problem? Please suggest me or do I need to modify the script
