I realize, since this is an official Adobe site, users may not promote software from other companies, but if there is nothing available from Adobe at the moment I have may no choice. I am not very tech-savvy, and I've never used software like that until a month or two before, so I'm panicking on the lack of time I have for this project. Any suggestions would be welcome.

  Your system does not meet the requirements for Acrobat Pro DC.  As you say, you have OS X 10.7, but Acrobat DC requires at least OS X 10.9.  I don't know if they still sell Acrobat Pro XI, but that's probably what you get.
