Conversion of PDF to form alter vector art in the document.

I have created several forms of PDF files exported from InDesign. They are all the same except with different header text. Everyone has the same exact logo down the Center. What happens with a particular is when I go to create a display of the existing document and chose this pdf file, modifies the logo art and removes the text in the logo. This happens in Acrobat. In the InDesign file, the logo is an eps placed with all policies described. Everything in this file of logo is vector art.

I tried many pdf export affecting InDesign, rampage indd files as pdf and create new files, restart the programs and restart my computer. None of this has fixed the problem. He always removes the type in the logo when I convert to the form. If anyone has had this problem or knows how to fix? Thank you.

Yes, I mean you don't have only the design of form, but create the fields of the form with InDesign. You will have no need to do step 4, which must be based on conjecture and can make mistakes.

    Hey, Bessie.

When you print to PDF it has an option to fit to Page. That switch off and you should not have more discounts.

  • Lack of PDF link which is no longer in the document?

    Hello-

I have this document which was only a linked several page PDF file. After several iterations the PDF of the images have been removed from the document. Recently our HE decided to rename our servers so that all links in the document had to be reprinted time and that's when I noticed that Indesign still considers this PDF file is in the document, though even he is not designate a page number on the link tab, or it jumps to the link on "Go to Link". I even tried to recreate a link to the new location and it does nothing... I'm scratching my head. At the moment there no adverse or corruption of the document or otherwise, but I would hate for something horrible to occur later. Any ideas?

One thing to note, is the name of the PDF file has '-' in the name. Not sure if this is important, but I saw some chatter here that refer to abnormalities with the replacement text in file names.

I work in the CC and a Windows 7.

Try to export the document to IDML and opening.

  • conversion from pdf to word, Adobe Acrobat XI of the Pro trial

I am using a 30 day trial of Adobe Acrobat Pro XI, when I convert a pdf to word doc, he has several letters hidden & symbols, it's because it's a trial?

Also, be aware that the conversion to WORD is a matter of chance. Much depends on the structure of the PDF and how it was created. Some files convert almost perfectly for basic text and graphics (equations translated generally as images), while others have little in common with the PDF file.

  • Cannot use editiable 'form' on App fields when the document is password protected. Used to be able to...

We have created manuals on Adobe Pro which has fields to fill in edit for notes and it is password protected. Everything seemed to work perfectly on PC and Mobile Devices until this past weekend when we noticed that on mobile device, edit the fields are locked. The security settings are defined for the user to change the editable fields.

    Hello

When the password is applied to a PDF document, the PDF document will be encrypted.

Acrobat Reader mobile products (for iOS, Android, Windows Phone) have the known limit where the changes cannot be saved in encrypted PDF documents.  As a result, users are not able to make any changes (for example to fill in forms or add annotations/comments) to encrypted PDF documents.

As you already know, there is no such limitation in the desktop version of Adobe Reader or Acrobat.

    Sorry for the inconvenience.

  • Conversion from PDF to Word in Adobe Reader Pro XI

    Hello

I am a common user of the above function and for some reason it doesn't work anymore for me.

When I try and convert a PDF file to word, there is a read error "the specified file cannot be written to. "It may be currently in use".

It's strange, I have closed all other documents and restarted my computer several times but the problem persists.

The problem is not specific to a single PDF document that I tried several conversion this morning without success.

Also, when I try and open word documents that have recently been converted to PDF, I am unable to get into the document. MS Word reads the following error message:
"The file open XML"NAME OF THE DOCUMENT... "Cannot open docx" because there are problems with the content or file name may contain characters that are not valid (for example, /-).

I note the file name of the document has no of '-' or ' / ' in the name.
Could you please tell what I need to do.

    Kind regards

    Sarah.

  • Any of the vectors appearing as 'Vector Art sequence' not 'vector '.

    I use After Effects CS6

I imported recently some Illustrator files into a composition in After effects for a project. I imported the as a composition so I can use the different layers in the document. Files for one of the documents are vector art, but the others came into sequences of samples of Vector art. I don't know the difference between the two. I read on the forums that it has something to do with the option 'force alphabetical order' box. I have made sure it is not verified and have tried all the options to import a compostion, still no luck.

Is this something that needs to be done to the Illustrator himself file? Or I take a few steps correctly. Also, I would like to understand the difference between Vector Art files and Vector Art sequences. As far as I know is that both can be continuously rasterized, so it doesn't seem a threat to my project.

    Thanks for your time.

You had activated the 'Séquence' box at some point. Simply use the file--> Repalce images and load the files again with the correct options.

I reinstalled and lines still there. I tried PDF disturbances and he pulled out the line at the bottom of the page, but not on the side of the document.  The error log is full of printing errors. Any suggestions?

  • Word format / style rules to improve the conversion of PDF forms

I remember seeing in a help file guides for people who use Office to adhear to a few simple rules to help when converting to a PDF form.

We have many check list in different bets on the page and by different people with often little or no training or understanding.  (Notepad is complicated for their understanding - but I digress).

Thus, we have checklists / Questions etc. in Word tables or in a document, etc.

There are no guides I can find it recommends no spicific formatting to improve the conversion of Word to PDF format.

    For example.

Name: OR name: _______ OR name.    Name the name in a field and the next field empty or _ _ or (_ = Undersore)

So inconsistent as to what is a field and what is NOT...

Then, it is the common problem of the users using "Insert symbol" like a box (how I hate forms of words that are filled with this Jem)

Is there a formatting guide 101, which could help to provide assistance to those who are often responsible for "make a form / check list" so that when these documents are then required to be converted into a form PDF; do not start from scratch.

There must be a document that identified what looks like the PDF Converter in deciding whether or NOT it is a domain!

OH...  And is there a setting that will allow these symbols of checkbox dredded be recognized as a checkbox form?

    Thanks in advance.

    Mark

First of all, when you set up the form in WORD, make sure that the Adobe PDF printer is selected in the menu of the printer so that the provision complies when converting to PDF. That has long been a problem with WORD documents/forms that reflow based on the connected printer.

Acrobat Search essentially everything that seems to be a standard form element (a line of underscores, box or circle) and create a field related to these items. If you leave space, easy to use form tools in Acrobat to create your own fields (or modify those that Acrobat has attempted to add). The key is therefore what would be a normal type of the input in a form field. I'm not sure that the spaces after the colon are recognized as such. I suggest you create a simple shape style in WORD and add a variety of aspects of different shape type to the document and try the conversion. The manual says really nothing more that I mentioned. There are a few tutorials on the creation of the form at Adobe.

You might find these useful tutorials: http://acrobatusers.com/tutorials/filter/search&keywords=wizard&channel=tutorials&category = 8 & 86 & tut_type = video-OnDemand-graphics-HTML /. I didn't help much in the present, but they can be useful for you.

  • Cannot simultaneously use vector art and dynamic forms?

I was responsible for creating an online order form, and it seems that beign able to use vector graphics is the key to the design of the form. Dynamic form elements are also absolutely necessary - all the information has to fit on one page (and fortunately, most are mutually exclusive, allowing only the fields necessary to appear).

Unfortunately, when I do a page of the form layout in Illustrator and import it into LiveCycle, I seem to be unable to use the drawing tools (specifically, lines and text, that both I need). I tried to save the file in a dynamic form, but only the opportunity to save it as a static form is displayed.

Y at - it something I am doing wrong, or I'm going to have to choose between the use of vector graphics and dynamic form options?

Fix. You can import the static PDF file work and then add the form objects.
