Conversion of securities of legends

Hey everybody,

I have created burned-in "subtitles" as a series of Premiere Pro titles (using the text tool), and I'm now trying to produce a .srt file or *. CSC of these to download on YouTube. I realize I could have messed up the workflow of legend, but I was wondering if anyone knew a way to convert these legends titles.

Or even simply be able to export them as text would be useful as well. I have hundreds, if hand copy and paste title isn't ideal.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks in advance,

Henry

Hello

Titles in Premiere Pro are only in graphical form and cannot be converted into text or editable format.

The only way to save them, is that you can go to each title individually and copy paste the text into Notepad or TextEdit.

Kind regards

  • How can I export several language closed pp legends?

    So here's the scenario:

    1. Documentary photo of length in slovene featured
    2. Created slovene and English subtitles (.srt format) code (I have more than two languages translation)
    3. Imported into my project and marked as CEA608 CC1 English and slovene as CEA608 CC2
    4. Placed two files of legend on my timeline on video tracks 5 & 6 respectively
    5. I can select the CE1 or CE2 channels in the program monitor and see the correct subtitles during playback.
    6. I export to Quicktime (MOV) format and select 'Embed in the output file' in the tab captions options
    7. When I look at the QT file it contains only a single stream CC (CC1) and so only English subtitles are available.

I tried to export the captions in any format available sidecar (*.) CSC, .mcc, .xml, .stl, .srt). ALL of them with just a SINGLE channel of legend, CC1.

I feel like I tried all combinations of input file specification "and the output file option and have not found one that will export two or more closed channels of the legend."

My guess is, I have to exchange all subtitle files (CE1 > CE2 and CE2 > CC1) and then restore the project twice. time to get the English .srt file and a second time to get the language Slovenian .srt file.  This should work for the production of DVD where I can import files sidecar separately in yet. This will also work for YouTube where I can download the two, or more, .srt files. But I see no way to create a single MXF or MOV file with two built-in languages. It's my main output requirement.

Has anyone successfully created a workflow for several language legend closed?
Premiere Pro actually exportable in multiple channels of CC and if so, how?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The workflow creation and editing for closed captioning, although does not changes in batches of legends or is likely to further massive changes and conversions. For some users and the specific workflow, this can be tedious and impractical. Please submit a feature request.

  • Terrible problems of conversion of the site to meet the new version of Muse (and other important observations)

    Dear all

I was very pleased with the new version of sensitive Muse.

I had downloaded the pre-release version and tested it and presented my comments as a good obedient of Muse Web site designer, after all, we must all contribute to get the best system that actually works.

Is the day of release and I've updated Muse via my desktop CC application.

I watched videos Adobe make reference to liberation, that everything online and even read through the excellent series of video training sensitive to themes of Muse.

Only some of my clients gave me their business with the understanding that I would like to convert their sites Adaptive desktop, Tablet and phone versions to fully responsive as soon as the new version is out.

A customer has a big launch very soon which also requires the contents of the site changes so I decided to tackle this site first.

I made a copy of the site and opened it and it converted or whatever Muse only when you open an existing site in the new face.

I changed all the settings, site, properties etc etc in the offline version of the page.

Then, I have worked to make the Master suited page.

It is then that my nightmare began.

Nothing seemed to work as described and the biggest problem was the clamp that was so slow, late, dried, etc., it was almost unusable.

In any case, after 18 hours, the page master has been made and when you preview in the development tools Google Chrome seemed reasonable enough.

Why 18 hours you might ask, well partly because of the clamp problem mentioned previously, but the entire system is extremely inefficient in the way it works with so many questions to consider whether to apply or not apply to each object and a constant in Google Chrome preview as you could not trust what has been is displayed on the screen of Muse.

Next challenge was to convert the content of the home page. It wasn't a page complex and only consists of 6 pieces - pictures, text and a button on the State.

I have applied all the settings and slide the clamp to slightly reduce the width of the browser, that when I had to move showed major problems on the page immediately:

    • Huge empty spaces appeared
    • The objects did not adapted as it should and that I had seen in so many videos - so, for example, if a block of text was next to an image they immediately went massively out of alignment when you drag the clip
    • The finished status button on the margins of the page
    • Etc etc.

In any case, after 6 hours of tearing my hair that I give up and contacted Adobe.

They began a session remotely and said I had everything set correctly and that Muse wasn't as the developers had planned.

Finally, they said by e-mail on the .muse file, which I did, and of course I'm sitting here with a looming deadline and still no answer on how to solve the problems, which no doubt all my other existing sites will not have when I come to convert.

Other problems discovered during my tests to date are:

    • Right click for very slow service
    • Slow to open library (more despite being told you can download several items from the library when you try to load too, a lot (by Muse) everything freezes Muse and you force a fence via the Task Manager)
    • Adjusting the position of the breakpoint by right clicking on the breakpoint window very slow, late development and jerks (IE just like the clip)

In addition, I was absolutely horrified to see that there were other issues, especially since many objects react at all:

    • Image do not respond in the envelope
    • Compositions of
    • Slideshows
    • Forms
    • Google maps has only reactive width no height as well
    • Google Map inserted via insert HTML while I updated sensitive width, there is not (I guess the code must be added to make all insert sensitive html and some guidance on what could be this code would be useful Adobe, including a video on the subject feature Muse is so limited you must add a large number of html).
    • YouTube has only reactive width no height so completely useless
    • No effect of scrolling on Muse reactive
    • In addition, virtually all 3rd party widgets Muse themes et al. do not work with response as they say they are waiting for Adobe to undertake the necessary work on base first. So any site that uses widgets cannot be converted (and almost all do so because of the lack of functionality of Muse)

This Muse is not really sensitive and it is useless to creation or conversion of sites until it is.

Also, I was extremely disappointed to see that despite me and a lot of other designers asking some features via the Forums Muse he had not been included. This includes, but is not limited to:

    • Draw ellipses (& circles) and polygons that you can in InDesign in forms or frames of image
    • Site search function
    • Images do not clearly appear in the Muse until preview
    • No password protection function
    • Form always using reCAPTCHA 1 not 2
    • No installation on the forms file upload
    • Slideshow of legends still not discoloration with images
    • No idea if all the SEO issues as I cannot finish a site and scan

    What a disappointment is complete.

So, for me, sorry Adobe not usable as a form builder free site responsive until much more work has been done, hopefully very soon.

    Kind regards

    Mike

I just spent two weeks, putting in place a sensitive muse site. I am gray, tired and frustrated. I was so excited to make this project work.

I wish I had read these articles earlier.

  • Try structured: ask some Conversion Questions

So, finally I will give FM structured a serious whirlpool. My style FM use unstructured is consistent and predictable.

I'm trying to use the online resources, including, http://help.adobe.com/en_US/FrameMaker/12.0/Help/Using/index.html, , I saw samples of Adobe to file > new > Document > explore structured models, but, honestly, they are light. Also, I looked at the Adobe TV video on converting unstructured structured. . However, Miss me some information.

I'm working on my first conversion table:

    (1) should what element name conventions I follow? I use Easter breaks now, but don't account using all lowercase so he preferred. Should what names I use? 'P' for the body of the text or "Para", for example?

    (2) I understand to map the heading styles to the elements that I call 'Head', and different styles of body to the elements, I will name 'Para'. My bullets and numbered lists that I match the items that I give the word, 'Élément' and I plan to create a wrapper of the 'list' for these, for example. Agenda is defined with a 'Type' attribute which can be "numbered" or "chips". I know there are other ways to approach that, like using explicit UL and OL elements or envelopes.

    (3) what should I do with the paragraphs I have graphics anchor to? I have an AnchorGraphics tag for anchoring of the images and an AnchorTable tag for the anchor tables. If these become 'Para '? Should and can I maps a tag FrameMaker to anything, so he goes?

    (4) what I'd do with remarks, precautions and warnings? Are these also best as elements of "Para", or if they get their own?

    You have thoughts and resources?

    Thank you!

    Sean,

I think you can ask questions without solid answers. There is probably a significant variety of opinions out there, all of which are just that... opinions. The short answer is that you need to understand what works for you, and maybe it's not what works for someone else.

There are some who would you like to forget this exercise together and just use existing data, such as DITA or Docbook structure. It's certainly an option. I use not or because it doesn't work for me.

So, let me tell you what works for me, with regard to the questions you have asked. This is all subjective in your case, but it is based on a very busy and highly refined workflow, producing good results for many years.

    1. name element conventions - I love tiny element names that DITA uses, such as

    (((,

, etc. because 1) they are short and easy to visualize 2) I know not what they mean because I am a writer and they are also similar to HTML in some cases 3) short the tag of the element, the least amount of overhead in the file structured and also XML, if you export in XML format.

2 - as long as author, I find much faster specify a

        explicit or something in
, rather than defining an attribute. In addition, it is much easier to see in the view of the structure. In addition, there is less overhead in the source file. DITA called a header element... I like this better than<Head>, but once again, it is just me.<p class="reply"> <p class="reply">3. for the numbers, I use a <fig>item that matches my tag "AnchorGraphics". The <fig>element has two children...<image>and<title>. The<image>element is a graphic element that inserts a framework anchored in the empty AnchorGraphics paragraph (created by <fig>). Then, the container<title>element inserts a new paragraph for the legend of the figure. The end result is the same as the use of unstructured FM standard, except that the management of the space reserved AnchorGraphics is much better automated and controlled. IOW, you don't have to worry about this more... the element structure does this for you. Among the myriad of benefits of the structure.<p class="reply"> <p class="reply">4 - DITA defines a single <note>element that has an attribute to control if it appears as a note, attention, etc. I like this approach. You can reuse the <para>element, but my thinking is that this would really complicate your background formatting rules. Explicit <note>element seems much better.</note> </para> </note>

5 - tables - Yes to your basic question, although there are a lot of different names, you can choose the elements. To follow the model of DITA or CLIENT access licenses, you must also an ancestor more in the tree that is the parent of the real table element. DITA, it is the

element and the actual table element is an element of as a child. In my EDD, the
item works very similar to the element, empty insert a paragraph in which the child element inserts the actual table. This typical unstructured use of models and works very well for me.

In all of this, you will notice that I have a lot of reference DITA, but pretend that I do not use DITA. I love DITA structure definition (the DTD mainly)... I find it very intuitive and well designed for the Executive of creation. However, I find little use for other DITA things, such as its emphasis on the management of thematic content and a huge bunch of other complexities that are just a nuisance if you do not need. So, I do have my own EDD, but the definition of the underlying structure is most often pulled away from DITA. I encourage you at least watch the DITA specification and see how they did it. The easiest way would be to use FM menus to create a DITA sample topic and wasting its time with her.

    I hope this helps.

  • Get rid of BarChart legend and create a horizontal line to a specific value

    Hey,.
    I work with barregraphes.
1st screen: I want to disable the legend of my Barchart.
    http://imgur.com/wMo6Tfv, DRiNA9C
Second screen: I want to create a line in my Barchart on a specific value 700 as seen on the screen.
    http://imgur.com/wMo6Tfv, DRiNA9C #1
Is this Possible? Also: what object to set the ID to change the color bar. I tried

    Chart histogram;
    barchart.setId ("Chart");

    CSS:
    #barchart
    {
    -fx-background-color: red;
    }
But it did not work. Thank you!

No, you do not miss anything. I had a temporary brain freeze. You can add nodes directly to an arbitrary region.

If this makes it a little harder. You need to add the line to the container in which your chart is maintained, and of course this means that you understand the coordinates of the line relative to this container. To simplify a bit, axis has a scale property of conversion of units of the axis to display units, and also according to the docs of css, the table has a child with the css class "table-horizontal-zero line." So one possible strategy is to enter this line and figure the change in the coordinates needed him. There is still work to do to find the correct coordinates relative to the container, and if you want it to run with things move (for example, when the user resizes the window), you need to do a lot of link.

  • Place pictures (screenshots) to legends - best practices?

    Illustrator CS6, Windows 7

I am placing screenshots (screenshots of the software) in the files of my work to add captions and create illustrations for a user manual.

The machine I'm capture has a screen resolution at 1920 x 1080 (required for software). I am using Snagit and capture screens, saving files, then place in Illustrator. I am using minimum 300 dpi and never upsizing images in Illustrator. I still think that my results could not be better.

In the past, I used .jpg as my export filetype for placement in Illustrator. But these recent readings of messages in this community lead me to believe that my practice might be defective.

Question: What is considered best practice to place the screenshot images (or any source) in Illustrator? What kind of capture file will get the results of the lighter and more adaptable?

My color mode of Illustrator file is CMYK and my other art and legends supporting the perforated Cap work very well.

I am creating the work for import into Framemaker and create a PDF file for print and online.

I want to say is; What is the user looking at, and what you are training on?

For example, if the application includes part of your documents and medical imaging covers something like the assessment of medical images in the application, it would probably be a scenario much more color-critical application in which the user just displays and manipulates the data.

Generally, you don't need something like 300 PPI for screen captures in documentation of the software. The whole intention is to the image of resemble the screen you document, which is something like 72 or 96 DPI at full size. You can reduce a screenshot as much less 50%, but at this size, the drive shows the text of the application (including the menus, etc.) to half of such size as displayed in the app, which is supposed to be sized for comfortable reading. The sharpness is good. You don't want the images to fade in the pursuit of pointless "resolution."

Also in General, screenshots of the software are not usually colour-critical. Implementation (same sticky of SnagIt) directly in the page layout application is usually very good. PostScript knows how to separate RGB images. These things have been done for a long time before anyone who sweated blood on "color management." Assuming that the interface of your application uses Garish colors (which would be the poor interface design; it's tiring), I dare say that the conversion of RGB to CMYK screenshots to the imagesetter or press would be nice.

How to print manual? Unless you're talking about a large prints of the press, today the software (subject to frequent updates) documentation is often printed on presses on demand (think glorified digital color, photocopiers) presses not leaves. With the documentation of the software, you're talking about aren't usually the collection of coffee table books. (The exception would be something like a book on the color in Photoshop correction; so my first question.)

I always paste screenshots of SnagIt directly into InDesign pages to document software applications and add captions in InDesign. Only when I need some special graphics (plunging arrows, etc.) Assemble the captions for the screenshots in Illustrator; and even when I do that I have usually also paste the SnagIt capture directly to HAVE.

Keep your native legends for better page layout program facilitates language translation, when you need to outsource that.

  • FrameMaker, RoboHelp removal legends figures

    Software:

    TCS 3.5: FM10 & RH9

    Method A:

When you add the figures in paragraphs (figures which absorb < 1/3 of the width of the page):

    1. place a framework anchored as 'Run in the paragraph.

    2. draw a slightly smaller than the anchored frame text frame.

    3. replace paragraph booked 'space '.

    4. Insert a table "FigAnch" in the text block.

    5. place a framework anchored in the 'Center' in the first line of the table "FigAnch".

    6. enter a name for the caption.

    Method B:

When you add the numbers below/above points (figures which absorb > 1/3 of the width of the page):

    1. a line below/above the current paragraph, defined as "reserved space".

    2. Insert a paragraph "Space" reserved "prickly pear" Table

    3. place a framework anchored in the 'Center' in the first row of the table "fig".

    4. enter a name for the caption.

    Question:

Two of these methods work very well for AutoDial when it is used as output PDF (1-1, 1-2, etc.).

When I import the fm book in RoboHelp, only method A causes the numbering figure to become '0-1' in all cases.  Method B works as expected (the same as the PDF output). I would really like to do away with figures and legends completely when linking to my book of FM to the HR. Is this possible? I tried to check the "exclude output" for paragraph styles legend Figure FM, but it has no effect on import.

Nathan had an anchored frame containing a table, containing a title. During the import process, we were able to ignore the AutoNumber on the table in the anchored frame title, if we were able to ignore the AutoNumber on the same paragraph tag, when it has been used outside the anchored frames.

Use a conversion model in FrameMaker conversion settings, we could drop the AutoNumber both locations before HR title never obtained for the processing of the content.

  • Cannot map HR styles in Conversion settings after the .isf file loading

    Hello

I'm trying to create AIR applications help on TCS 3.5, FrameMaker ver.10 books.

When I load the project .isf file since I can't map the parameters of conversion to FrameMaker documents

(I can open the dialogue box "Parameters of Conversion", but is unable to "map" the HR styles: neither "expand" buttons appear on the column settings FrameMaker).

So, when I update book FM, all styles are not mapped.

If you have faced similar problems and find a solution (or workaround), please kindly let me know.

Thanks a lot for your help in advance!

    Hi Jeff,

Thank you very much for your suggestion. I tried and found that it has not changed...

    Instead, I found a workaround (by chance);

1 load the .isf file on file > project - Import tab setting.

    2. Select "Apply a FrameMaker template prior to importation", click Browse and choose model FM for the book.

    3. then click on the button change in conversion to FrameMaker "Edit" documents settings

With this process, we can change the mapping of FM styles and those of HR.

I don't know why, and I think that this feature is not intended for this purpose, but somehow the link FM - RH is restored.

    * If your project is multilingual, in particular, it contains multibyte characters, just make sure that your paragraph for graphic caption style is correctly set

(language and police); or Adobe Distiller converts bad to do all the jumbled legends.

I hope this workaround solution helps!

  • English Mail App - rated to organiser a conversation

Mail - nominal date Organizer app a conversation?

    Hello

In the Mail (on Sierra) application I organize my conversations by mail.

In Inbox, I can sort my emails by date, but you'd host a conversation by date?

Car the current presentation organizes me them from the oldest to the newest. And me I want from the most recent to the oldest...

What may seem logical for some is not pay others. When a 200 mails in a conversation and we want to avoid going down with her laetitia down pour mail to meet the last ;-)

I would like to add that I had Apple by Chat support which was a great help... No en not knowing comment ;-) and me offering me to recall by a technician in order to take control of my computer! Waowww, the I was amazed by the efficiency :-) (the little humor)

Someone would have had the same problem? Not with assistance but with the Organization of e-mail?

Open Mail > Preferences > display

Check "Message most recent show at the top.

  • iMessages group Conversation does not go in DND

I've just updated to iOS 10 on my iPhone more than 6 and a group conversation in the Messages that I sometimes put on DND now does not recognize that the conversation has been implemented within DND.  Messages continues to inform me about all messages from anyone in the group.  Is there any solution for this?

    Thank you

    Brent

Have what troubleshooting you tried? Troubleshooting user steps include reboot, reset, restore from backup, restore to factory; tests after each stage.

If you return in the message after the ignition of the DND, does always show as it is turned on?

  • How can I recover photos lost in the conversion of Photos?

Was > 90 k pictures and nearly 200 albums iPhoto library. Bought a new iMac with El Capitan and convert photo library. After conversion, most of the albums displayed holders place empty, some with title data, but more without. Saved and repair (command option, open Photos). Post a regeneration, it is now only display 8 k photos with about 10 albums. See no reason for what is successful and what was lost, even if the older DSLR photos seem to be most of what has disappeared. Any help would be appreciated.

first thing I would do is the original library repeat migration - restore your backup of it and drag the backup restored to Photos icon in the Dock to migrate

  • Sierra - big problem - there really no more audio or video conversation in messages...?

    Hello

I just discovered this messages.app no longer offers an audio or video conversation.

Apple is really serious about this?

Someone at - it an idea for a good alternative, which offers audio conferences for small businesses?

    See you soon

    Carl

    Hello

The ability to 'iChat' in one account AIM and Jabber for video chat or Audio Only WITHIN the app is no longer.

The Menu of the video has disappeared.

Screen sharing also went to El Capitan (in the House somehow)

We have text iMessages cats invoke FaceTime upper-right Details option.

Or the screen sharing application for screen sharing.

Of course this "force" everyone to use the iMessages Apple ID account.

Trillian https://www.trillian.im/ is a PC application that was a version of free text and one for the Pro version which could then Video Chat

I know that they have diversified in other versions and there is one for Mac.

I never worked if they also did the Pro for Mac version.

I have also not clear if it employs different video formats for cats of PURPOSE compared to Jabber ones (Hello and AIM and Jabber on a Mac are essentially the same even if they do not allow connections from Service crossed) Jabber use Jingle and aims essentially to AIM and long ago was compatible with iChat.

NOTE Jingle is actually an add-on to Jabber/XMPP but is not compatible with GoogleTalk Google video or their plug-in for browsers.

    I've not updated with others.

I follow a page, written by another long post here (EZ Jim), but we have not updated since 2006

However, he lists a few of them in the section chats and Conferencing, you might want to give more.

In the latest new applications seemed to come and go.

  • Any way to go back to the old mail conversation view?

Just upgraded my phone to iOS 10, and new mail conversation view is not usable. This might work for personal emails, but for work when I have maybe 10 to 20 emails in a single conversation, it's unmanageable to have to scroll all the way. 1 on 20 may have an attachment you are looking for. I'm very likely going to have to use Microsoft Outlook instead.

Someone at - he found a way to restore the 9 mail iOS conversation view?

Apple, please take this feedback from someone who is a strong supporter since the original iPhone. The new view of mailconversation is a big step backwards in usability.

    Thanks in advance.

Apple will not see your comments here. Back to Apple goes to their site of comments here, http://www.apple.com/feedback , and then click the area on the matter.

Regarding the threading, if you type on see more in the lower left corner of the mail, it will show everything that the thread. If you look in the upper right corner of the screen, you will see Done. Tap on that and it will return to the last post. If you are simply looking at the Inbox, there will be an arrow to the right of the post office, blue, double-chevron. Press on and it will show all messages for this particular thread and the head of arrow will point down. Tap it again, and the wire will collapse.

  • When let go before completely closing a conversation by sliding the keyboard right in iMessage, continues to slide

Annoying bug. It seems that iOS 10 has a lot of Polish.

Swipe left to close a conversation?  I never heard of such a thing.

Instead, there is a left arrow "<" in the upper left corner of the screen.  Tapping is the way to close a conversation.
