Conversion of the time/date STAMP backup to the DATE format?

Hello community,

is it possible, to convert the backup timestamp Format (which is written by RMAN in the columns titled "STAMP" in NUMBER data types) in a regular Format of DateTime?

I can't find any data about this timeformat only this:

'specifies that the backup the value timestamp, which is a 4-byte value derived as the number of seconds since a reference period fixed'.

But what kind of 'fixed reference time' is it?

I would like to show the output of the view RC_RMAN_OUTPUT of the RMAN catalog with a timestamp of humanreadable for each line of output, but there is only one column of STAMP.

Thank you

Tobias

I found for myself:

Select

(to_date('1987-07-04 00:00:00', 'YYYY-MM-DD HH24:MI:SS') + STAMP, 24, 60, 60) log_date,.

output

of rc_rman_output

order by recid;

    I tried to get the date of this DateField and tried to convert the format 'yyyy-mm-dd ".

  • I need to know the file current date/time number stamp and the version of "spoolsv.exe" in Vista Home Premium 32-bit with SP2.

    I need to know the file current date/time number stamp and the version of "spoolsv.exe" in Vista Home Premium 32-bit with SP2. My spooler file got corrupted and I need to know what that the stamp of date/time on the latest version of the file: spoolsv.exe. I did a search on my hard drive and found 8 copies of the file with 7 different dates. I need to know which copy in my file C:\windows\system32\. I suspect that the problem was caused by some kind of malware. I think that some of the different versions on my machine of the initial installation of the Vista, SP1 and SP2. 3 copies that would explain. I tried all the suggestions in this forum and several others. I tried sfc/scannow and it simply replaces the corrupted file by another. I understand how works this file and a simple copy will do the trick if I knew that the file to use. I know that I don't want to go back to the first version of 2006.  BTW... my symptoms are all my printers have disappeared, and when I try to 'add a new printer' I get an error message saying that my spooler service does not work. When I opened my services window it shows that indeed, he is arrested, but I will not start because the description column contains only the code garbled machine indicating that the file is corrupted, or it may contain a virus. I had been using F-Prot until this virus got by and now I use AVG. I scanned my machine with several cleaning packages and it is is more infected, but I worry that from this corrupt file grow something. I know that the problem is not with my printers or drivers, because everyone on my home network can print on all of my printers. None of the people I know are on Vista 32 bit. They are all running System 7 or XP. I have XP, except that a few years ago I suffered from the "Syndrome of Pepsi" on my laptop and when I bought a new HP, it came with Vista.

  • conversion of the error of date / time when using easy excel reports

    I export a 2D array to an excel file using Excel reports easy vi. I have no problem with that. My data has a number of areas with different formats (text and date/time). My problem is the following:

    * some (in other words, not all data is in the same worksheet) the veiled values of date/time to mm/dd/yyyy format whereas they should be in mm/dd/yyyy (is the excel format it is y in!). Essentially, I have 30/09/2008 (September 30, 2008) in a cell. After ticks on Oct. 1, it will display the date as, 01/10/2008. Excel thinks that this date is in the format dd/mm/yyyy.

    This is a known error in earlier versions of Excel (2002), in particular when you convert a .csv, .xls file. The solution, it was not to add "Local: = True ' at the end of the vba command string (see here: MS Knowledge Base). Here, in LabView I'm not sure how to proceed.

    I tried to change the format of the column in question to the 'text' by calling an Excel Macro in LabView, but do you think I can find the vba command to do? No, not so much.

    LabView saves the Excel file in 97-2003 format (I use MSOffice 2007) and I wonder if the version they are using does not consider the time correction, as described in the knowledge base (or if it applies).

    Any suggestions, I'd love to hear from you.

    Kind regards

    David.

    Hi LaRisa,.

    I was able to find the cell Format Excel set vi and successfully change the format of the value of the cell. It wasn't until I had found the vi that I realized that I've been down this road before. Change the format after the table has been created does not change values dd and mm switching that has already occurred. However, if I did before I "created the table" (or vi Excel table) and set the format to be '@' then it displays the string like 'Text' in the Excel file. That's nice. I can control what cell, row, or column to format now. If I want to be in a date format then I must apply the Format of cell vi after the easy Excel table vi.

    It sounds like a stupid race around me...

  • Detect if the time/date browse button has been used

    Hello

    I have a checkpoint vi for the indexing of the elements inside the table and shows the date and the corresponding time. I have the large number of control inside my block signals, but I removed all the blocks out of words and signal for this discussion. I replaced all the unnecessary controls with constant values, so don't waste time analyzing.

    If you take a look at my vi, you'll see Star/Stop control, control of Position and an indicator of time stamp (time waveform) with a browse button date/time of another control of time stamp. I have all the features you want, but I have the problem when you use the button browse to bring up the time. I can't put my time twice in a row to the same value as I compare value "Last entry of time" with a current comes to enter. I wouldn't completely change my blocks because I use a lot of variables and property inside my project nodes. I'm looking for a way to figure out if the time/date browse button was pressed so I could jump to the desired in my registered wave point.

    I'll skip the actual implementation of what you're doing because it's not all that clear to me and answer the question about to detect if the button has been pressed. This general question came several times before in this forum. There is no built-in mechanism to detect that the Browse in a timestamp control button was pressed. When you click this button, it actually opens a VI with the title 'Set Time and Date'. For example, you can monitor to see if this window opens.

  • A question about the conservation of fields (hour, min, sec) time DATE type in the table on the changes of NLS_DATE_FORMAT

    Hello

    Oracle version: 12.1.0.1.0 - 64 bit

                      OS:   Fedora Core 17 X86_64

    My question is about the conservation of fields (hour, minute, second) time DATE type in the array on NLS_DATE_FORMAT changes.

    Take the following test case:

    SQL> create table tmptab(dateval date);

    Table created.

    SQL> alter session set nls_date_format = 'yyyy-mm-dd hh24:mi:ss';

    Session altered.

    SQL> insert into tmptab(dateval) values('2014-01-01 00:00:00');

    1 row created.

    SQL> insert into tmptab(dateval) values('2014-01-01 10:00:00');

    1 row created.

    SQL> commit;

    Commit complete.

    SQL> select * from tmptab;

    DATEVAL
    -------------------
    2014-01-01 00:00:00
    2014-01-01 10:00:00

    SQL> alter session set nls_date_format = 'yyyy';

    Session altered.

    SQL> select * from tmptab where dateval > '2014';

    no rows selected

    SQL>

    I don't understand why it returns nothing. The second test case above insert statement inserted a line with 10 as the value for the time of the DATE field column dateval.

    Accordingly, while comparing this with the literal '2014' (which based on the new value of NLS_DATE_FORMAT = "yyyy" is implicitly converted to DATE), shouldn't the above query returns the line 2014-01-01 10:00 ?

    I mean, I changed the NLS_DATE_FORMAT but data from time in the table fields are preserved and that's why they should normally be taken into account in the comparison of date.

    What I'm trying to say is that for me (Please correct me if I'm wrong), no matter what NLS_DATE_FORMAT configuration is the following test

    SQL> select * from tmptab where dateval > '2014';

    is the same thing that

    SQL> select * from tmptab where dateval > to_date('2014-01-01 00:00:00', 'yyyy-mm-dd hh24:mi:ss');

    And because the line 2014-01-01 10: 00:00 in the tmptab table. The following test

    2014-01-01 10:00:00 > to_date('2014-01-01 00:00:00', 'yyyy-mm-dd hh24:mi:ss')

    evolves normally true (beucase of TIME = 10 on the left side of the test) and therefore this line must be returned which is not the case in the test above.

    You kindly could you tell me what I misunderstood?

    Thanks in advance,

    This is the price for the use of implicit conversions. Implicit DATE conversion rules are not as direct as it can be assumed. In your case, all you provide is year as date format. In this case date implicit conversion rules assumes that month in the current month, day 1 and time as 00:00:00.

    SQL > alter session set nls_date_format = "yyyy";

    Modified session.

    SQL > select to_char (to_date ('2014 "), ' mm/dd/yyyy hh24:mi:ss') twice;

    TO_CHAR (TO_DATE('20)
    -------------------
    01/08/2014-00:00:00

    SQL >

    So, when you start:

    Select * from tmptab where dateval > '2014 '.

    Oracle implicitly converts date using "YYYY", which translates as August 1, 2014 '2014'. That's why your quesry returns no rows.

    I have converted the formats of date several times, but for some reason, I get an error invalid number when you try to convert a varchar2 column. If the column is a DATE, then it has the same format that all DATEs, which is nothing like 'DD-MON-YYYY '. Formats like which apply only to chains.
    Conversely, if it is in the format "DD-MON-YYY", then it is a string, not a DATE.

    but I want to change to DD/MM/YYYY. My query is below:

    Select to_date('fccpdate','MM/DD/YYYY')
    of cc_class_scmast_v

    To_date (x, "MM/DD/YYYY") tries to convert the string x in a DATE. Let's say it starts by taking the first 2 characters of x, for the month. The first 2 characters of 'fccpdate' are "fc", which is not a valid number (at least not in base 10), not to mention a number from 1 to 12, TO_DATE so will raise an error.

    When I try to_date I get this:

    Error from the 1 in the command line:
    Select TO_DATE ('fccpdate ',' MON-DD-YYYY "") of cc_class_scmast_v, where fccpdate IS NOT NULL

    * Cause:
    * Action:

    I tried to remove the single quotes of my column and that does make a difference. Any help is appreciated.

    It's a good first step. Literals are enclosed in single quotes are not identifiers (including the column names). "fccpdate" is the literal string of 8 characters containing 'f', ' c; Another 'c', 'p' 'd', 'a', 't' and 'e'. " fccpdate (without the single quotes) can be the name of a column.

    If fccpdate is a string, as July 18, 2012', then you can convert it to a DATE using TO_DATE.

    TO_DATE (fccpdate, 'DD-MON-YYYY')

    If you want to display a DATE in a particular format, use

    TO_CHAR ( d
            , f
            )

    where d is a DATE, and f is the format string. In this case, d is perhaps the TO_DATE expression above

    TO_CHAR ( TO_DATE (fccpdate, 'DD-MON-YYYY')
            , 'MM/DD/YYYY'
            )

    I hope that answers your question.
    If not, post a small example data (CREATE TABLE and only relevant columns, INSERT statements) for all of the tables involved and also publish outcomes from these data.
    Explain, using specific examples, how you get these results from these data.
    Always tell what version of Oracle you are using.

    In the manual, you will find information about the BIOS battery and how long it of necessary to load.

    I think you should leave the laptop running for approximately 12-16 hours on the AC adapter / CC.

  • How to read data from a worksheet to a chart in the form of wave at intervals to simulate real-time data

    Hi I have measured data using a SELF-DIAGNOSIS device and that you have downloaded the log files as a .csv I have attatched below.  I'm trying to read the 7th column of data (RPM) and display it on a waveform graph, read line-by-line to simulate driving real-time data. The interval between readings, I'm trying to achieve is 500 Ms because it is the time interval of readings on the worksheet. I'm finishing the two loops when rpm is equal to zero, as happens when the car is off. I have attatched the relevant section of my program below. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you

    Michael

    There are two errors in your block diagram.  First of all, as you read the entire table 2D in all at once (which is fine), you make a clumsy (pardon my language) job to make a line of programming.  Once you take the first line of headers, you have the ideal substrate for a loop, which is made of elements of an array (lines) process, one at a time, using its tunnel of indexation.

    The second mistake is to forget data flow.  The loop, I mentioned, or the While loop you use, produced one at a time and points it at 2 Hz thanks to your expectation of 500msec.  You want to give each point to your chart, but the picture is out of the loop, which means that there is No point until the loop ends.

    Here's an easy Question - where you put the indicators in table of waveform?  [Council - I said that "outside the loop is bad"].
