  I went through this dozens of times on this forum. To be successful, you need to set a keyframe. Here goes:

  1. Select your shape (Rectangle 1) and right click and select Convert to Bezier path
  2. Open the Rectangle 1 path and set a keyframe
  3. Copy
  4. Select the layer that you want to add a mask of
  5. Choose the pen tool
  6. Click anywhere on the layer to set the first vertex
  7. If you try to put a mask on a shape layer, you must reset the pen tool to create a mask instead of a new form, before setting the first vertex
  8. Dough

  Unfortunately, because you saved the .svg and not .ai file, he has not kept information of line width that you need, using only a single path.

  My guess is that you have saved as .svg, using the menu drop down and then closed without saving a .ai version. Without a file in this format, you will have to re-create the type still once.

• How to convert the pulse signal line single layer

  Hello

  I tried to create a VI that will allow me to convert a pulse signal (generated by a tachometer) in a line single layer, indicating that a revolution succeeded. I would like to overlay this line on other signals generated.

  I am able to detect the falling edge of the signal, but I could not make a suitable line. I tried to create a new waveform, and juggle the markers, but no method worked for me.

  Does anyone have ideas for a good way to do this?

In CS5 I can select several paths and then, using the pencil tool, freely change paths without losing the multi-path selection. It is a great way to tweak a form of paint.   If you use Image/Live Trace, you can set for the race, does not, in the options.

  Or you can redraw with the tool pen on top of the locked image and get the path in this way.

  I'm having a problem with the pathfinder tool. IM using the pathfiners FRACTURE and some of my lines going to miss. 1px STROKE they want to just turn to a thin line that other lines are thicker, sometimes a few lines merge

  distortion of the shape of the of my design. I'm extend lines fill and line to erase all the unwanted lines hanging on the edges if that makes sense... Why im doing this is because I need the inner parts

  You use the pathfinder Panel or effects?

  Why use pathfinder at all? to complete parts? That could be achieved more easily with the live paint or shapebuilder tool.

  I went out of my Illustrator graphics to a strawberry of trade by exporting to SVG. Paths of dictate cuts.

  I would like to simulate a fold makes its way in dotted lines without having to hand draw each dash in the path.

  With the help of Illustrator CS4, how can I create paths clean single dotted line of continuous paths with the applied dotted line?

  If I use the dotted with hierarchical path (on a loop not closed), I find myself with rectangles (as the dotted line has a width to it).

  You can:

  (1) create a short path, the length of the dashboard (you can use the online tool);

  (2) in the brushes dialog, check create new brush and check model brush, defining the spacing on the length of the gap and keep Stretch Fit checked (you get a slight change of lengths); Now you have a brush to dashboard;

  (3) apply to the Dash brush for paths in question;

  (4) object > decompose the aspect to create paths separated from short simple as dashes.

• Convert the path of negative to positive

  "Auto add/delete" function of my tool pen has stopped working (CS3), so I have to manually switch positive (add to the path) to the negative terminal (subtraction way) when working with the tool pen in order to make transparent traces.

  I just spent an hour describing a thing to realize that the path is a negative path, so instead of choosing what I choose, I chose instead what I should delete.

  Make a selection from the path and reversing lead too sloppy to a path to a new path in this way.

  First, reset the pen tool with a right click on the tool icon in the options bar (just above the toolbar in the workspace to the default PS). You should be able to modify the path by using the direct Selection tool (black arrow), selection of the path and then by changing the form options in the options bar.
