  If it's the BIOS password you have forgotten, then you will need to take your laptop to a repairer authorized to have the BIOS reset.

  If it's just your username password in Windows you've forgotten, then you can start in safe mode and use the "Administrator" account to reset your password. Just press F8 during the boot sequence to get the option to boot into node without DANGER.

  I had to reinstall windows XP on my gf Satellite P100-429, but she lost the original disc, then when I installed the new XP there are the following devices lack drivers (they have the yellow question mark next to them) and I can not connect to the laptop to the internet.

  Archive option choose product type. Make sure you choose well model using just the part number PAxxx.

• Cannot use Bluetooth USB Dongle with Satellite P100

  A few months ago, I bought a dongle Bluetooth USB of Marks & Spencers. He says it's a Bluetooth 2 product. When I put the dongle into the USB port I can see no problem with drivers & Bluetooth in my device manager but I am still not able to see Bluetooth anywhere else on the computer and my phone is unable to find t.

  I was not able to load the software which accompanies it as sound does not seem compatible with windows vista. My laptop is Satellite P100 - 160.

  Can someone please tell me what I am doing wrong & what do?

  Under Widows XP PRO - SP2

  I searched the forum for a fan controller, with a poor result. I downloaded Notebook Hardware Control 2.0 and other similar monitoring software.
  Still, I can't control the fan. I often have my laptop on my lap, making the heat more worrying than the noise, the music is always enabled for max :)
  So if there is any way I can control the fan to work more and cool the CPU even faster, that would be great.
  I slowed down temp around 60 degrees now and the area on the side left (WSAD) is very hot.
  If I can change some thermal Tables or force the fan to operate on Max would be great. Anything to bring the fan to the top.

  In my opinion, no need to buy a cooling pad, as the fan must be turning at high speed if it does not, then I must consider that as a second option.

  The laptop Satellite P100-240 is the series of PSPA3E-xxxx, so you have to use XP for PSPA3E P100 drivers.
