Cookies has recently begun to rename automatically

Hi, I keep my PC up-to-date with auto-update.  I am running Vista SP2 and using the AVG Free antivirus.  Recently (for example the two last weeks), I noticed that the cookies placed in my user account folders Fred/AppData/Roaming/Microsoft/Windows/Cookies and Fred/AppData/Roaming/Microsoft/Windows/Cookies/low have been renamed before being saved, a normally readable as string * address email is removed from the privacy * [1] .txt to something like YSWM2ZEC.txt.  Why this happened and what it does?  When AVG is one of these new style files in quarantine, he always says he's something like * address email is removed from the privacy * or * address email is removed from the privacy * which I guess are the rejected.  It is a security update inovation to stop working for their initiators cookies or is something else going on.

Thank you.

The August for Internet Explorer update has changed the way cookie files are named for all versions of IE6 to IE9. This was done to prevent files cookie with predictable names that could be exploited in attacks of malware in certain circumstances.

  • Drive HARD high school has recently begun endangered

I have 3 hard drives of the same type and size 250GB WD. Recently, the HARD disk (Win XP) secondary simply disappeared as discovered while the disk HARD primary (Win 7), the third disc is formatted and used for storage only because he was going through because of the similarity of the files on the primary drive...

I replaced the SATA cable and the drive reappeared for a while. Now, every time that I reboot, the scandisk utility runs, and when he finished, everything seems OK for a while. I can even copy files from the secondary drive to any other disk. Utility disk WD check all ok/pass for this disc. What the hell is happening? Virus, bad MOBO (ASUS), bad operating system?

  • AGG and Essbase CALC script SUN has recently begun to cultivate our pag files

We have an Essbase script that does nothing but AGG and CALC DIM which ran fine for months because he has not pushed our cube of labour. From late January, he began to grow his pag files. Cube of labour was 7 GB in December 2010, and then it grew to 10 GB today. I tried running it and he grew up in our 170 Mo pag files 2nd time and then to 70 MB the 3rd time I ran it. Has anyone seen this?

    Just a guess. :)

Well, I'll throw another possibility here - if you are on a San, you'll never really know what is happening. I recently had a client whose SAN was... challenged for space. This thing was dynamically allocated disk space left, right and center. Who knew what disk pack Essbase db files were really. Who knew how much space was really there. As far as I know, they had grids of Commodore 1541 floppy drives (probably the most reliable and slow floppy drive never out - I went through several) a helping hand. The point being that sometimes the exact same Calc took 9 seconds, other times they took 5 minutes. And it was on a clear outside and loaded database. Certainly he did tuning calculations difficult, and that's an understatement.

But I bet on fragmentation. You say that when you have disabled the database above the zero level, it took minutes of agg it back up to the top where it normally takes seconds. This quick time as part of a clear is responsible, zero level and then environment DIM CALC? It would be a pretty darn close to 100% of defragmentation of database. If you already have the level 1, 2, 3, etc. blocks, then you are in at least some form of fragmentation. Check that it in EAS and you will see.

Check out this thread: Re: Fragmentation in the overall calculation

Ignore the war epic flame (pretty epic to OTN - people here are generally wise), and Kevin Cox explanation at the bottom read. I agree with him.

  • My I pad is three years old. Always load up. It was very fast, but has recently begun

I have apple I pad 4, he is three years old. OS 9.2.1 appliction10, 12.5 GB, available 3.8 GB capacity. It was very fast loading. Recently is seems to take forever. Several minutes.

Try closing all your apps and force restart the iPad. This will affect all the data.

Press the Home button twice quickly. You will see small glimpses of your applications recently used. Drag to the left to find the application you want to close. Swipe up on the preview of the application to close. Do this with all applications.

Force now restart your iPad. To force the reboot your device, press and hold the two buttons of sleep/wake and home for at least ten seconds, until you see the Apple logo.

IF this does not help, after the return of more detailed information such as what do you exactly mean by it takes several minutes to load.

  • Equium A60 has recently started to overheat

My Equium A60 has recently begun more heating really bad. It's at the stage where I can not install windows XP on it without him turning off during the installation of precession.

Anyone know what could cause it to fire so quickly?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hello

Especially the laptop overheats because the cooling module doesn t cool unique pieces in the right way.
Fans do not twist full implementation because of the dust and debris inside the laptop.
After a long time working, it s advisable to clean the cooling modules.

    How?
Well, the simplest method is a use of the vacuum cleaner. But be careful

If it helps the laptop must be checked by a technician.
The technician can renew the thermal paste between the CPU and the cooling module.
Important to take heat from the CPU thermal paste.

Last but not least do not forget that there is enough free space around the laptop.
The free space is important for air circulation correctly

  • My iPhone (and Mac) has recently started inviting me to enter my password of e-mail occasionally, even when my password has not changed.

My iPhone (and Mac) has recently started inviting me to enter my password of e-mail occasionally, even when my password has not changed. I always receive my email if I do not reintroduce.  I sometimes take the message pop up on the home screen.  It happens about once a week lately.  I'm a little worried that so often on my iPhone.  The same thing happens to my Mac too, but less frequently.  I noticed that this happens for Gmail, email from work (Exchange) and iCloud, but not all other accounts.  Potential virus?

    Not necessarily

When the mail (especially sent) is rejected by the server - for some reason - server busy or too large attachment or even unstable connection - the first step is to ask for authentication

I would see if there is a model in terms of contacts or attachments that you can discern

  • Satellite T110 - WLan connection has recently stopped working

I have a Toshiba Satellite T110 with Windows 7 Home Premium.

Wireless has recently stopped working with the yellow exclamation mark showing above the symbol of the unit.

Looking at the pilot management screen, the following message appears.

"This device does not work properly because Windows cannot load the drivers required for this device. (Code 31) »

Nothing I have tried seems to shake this error.
I tried the Toshiba assist diagnostic tool. It simply says that the wireless connection failed his test.

I don't know how problem was that the system worked for about three weeks, without a hitch, but I would like to know if anyone has any experience with this problem.

I could try a rebuild, but I prefer not to lose my OS.

    > "This device does not work properly because Windows cannot load the drivers required for this device. (Code 31) »

I think that there is a simple solution; error message is clear enough; It is said that the driver cannot be loaded this means something has happened to the Wlan driver
In my opinion you should visit the European driver of Toshiba page and should download and reinstall Wlan driver again!

  • Satellite L300D has recently started to freeze

    Hello

First time poster so hope im in the right place!

My L300D has recently started to freeze on me, he's about right start. If I move the screen slightly it will unlock and I can work on it, but is likely to freeze again with any movement of the laptop, so the constant movement of the screen to thaw it is a bit annoying that you can imagine!

I used compressed air to remove dust from the fans because it had seemed as if it was overheating, but that made no difference.

Is there something simple I am missing or is this tendency to freeze a symptom of the beginning of the end for my laptop?
If anyone has any experience of this / tips for getting on it, it would be well appreciated.

    Thanks in advance
    Kevin

    Hi bluekev,

I never heard of this issue, but maybe the problem is with the LCD cable... Such a cable wouldn t be expensive and you can get it from an authorized service provider. Also guys can redeem you.

You move only any computer laptop or screen?
I ask this question because it could also be a HARD drive problem, but if you move only the screen I doubt

  • Satellite L300-195 has recently stopped working

    Hello
My phone has recently stopped working. It loads fine, but when I try to access one of the icons or the Start button, simply of freezes and does nothing, don't me even turn off.
    Can someone advise please?
    Thank you

Try to start your computer in SafeMode (F8 at startup) and roll back OS to an earlier time using System Restore tool.
Perhaps some day you installed the last days or even the background process blocks the laptop.

Do as first step to see if something will be changed. If this isn't the case, please inform us about it.

  • How to rename automatic updates?

What should I do to rename "Automatic updates"? It is cited as a partial solution to the error 0 X 80248011. I can't install the Windows updates. Can find automatic updates, I don't know how to rename. It asks me to rename C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution but I can't. I used Microsoft Fix It and tried many other solutions, but none are successful. This change of name perhaps is the answer. I am running XP Media Center and have Service Pack 3. I have started the Background Intelligence Transfer Service, installed Windows Update Agent to address this dilemma, also erased theInternet Explorer Cache. I can't reinstall XP because I do not have the disc. It was installed by the people who sold me the computer and I don't have the disk.

    Rename the folder C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution

    Click Start, choose run.
In the run box, type services.msc.
    Click OK.
    Right-click the automatic updates service.
    Click on stop.
Stopping the service will take a moment.

    Rename the folder "C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution":
    a. Click Start, click Run, type %any and then click OK.
    b. right-click on the C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution folder, and then click Rename.
    c. Type SoftwareDistribution.old, and then press ENTER to rename this folder.

    Click Start. Choose run.
In the run box, type services.msc.
    Click OK.
    Right-click the automatic updates service.
    Click Start.
Starting the service will take a moment.
