  I think that the problem started with the latest updates. Work normal flow of copy and paste no longer functions properly.

  Photshop changes the dimensions of the vector illustrations copied from illustrator and pasted in photoshop.

  I think a number of things are colliding together. Looks like your main concern is that pasted files are to be resized to fit existing document limits, correct?

  There is an option in the preferences to disable this behavior. Do you know if you have this option unchecked

  Hi guys,.

  Having a very annoying problem that I noticed since the last update CC.

  
  If I have, say, a 100 x 100 mm square in Illustrator and I copy and move to Photoshop, create a new document using the Clipboard in the preset, it gets the evil mm dimensions. My understanding is this should be consistent and not affected by things like the DPI/PPP and that I never had the problem before. It's by everyone in our studio and we all miss the Mac of CC version.

  In order to send jobs to draw Adobe Illustrator CC, you must be connected to your mobile device and your desktop creative cloud with the same Adobe ID. You cannot send on the desktop that is created in a different account.

• Cannot copy 5 Illustrator vector shape in Indesign CC

  When I try to copy the simple vector form of Illustrator into Indesign, it appear in ID in the form of bitmap, a vector shape. Cannot change it with any tool vector.

  Uninstall AI cs6.

  I've seen similar discussions, but none of the answers are no help for me as of today.

  Background:

  I am running OS X Yosemite 10.10

  All my CC applications are updated to the (01/11/14)

  I'm also updating on all other software on my Mac

  My goal:

  Copy text in illustrator

  Stick it in the Mail and TextEdit Notes live editable text

  Results:

  Text glue as pdf or some type of an image according to the application

  What it looks like:

  

  I'll start from the beginning to avoid questions later.

  I open a new document in Illustrator.

  

  These are the settings to Clipboard in my preferences.

  Please Note - I tried all combinations of these parameters. Turn them on and off one at a time and in combination does nothing to change the final product. I have disabled them all for this example, in order to scramble the not.

  

  I type the text. I did not use a text box in this example. I just clicked on the page with the text tool and type this line. There are no additional attributes. You can see that the parameters of characters are the most basic. Yet once, please note - I tried to use a text box with the same result.

  

  I use the text tool to highlight the text, then copy the text. I do not use the selection tool to select the text and copy.

  

  This is what looks like the Clipboard. Note that the content is "text".

  If I type the text in PS (for example) and copy to the Clipboard, it says "text". However, the text that I copy off PS I can stick anywhere in the editable text.

  If I type the text in the Notes and copy to the Clipboard, it said RTF. This text can also be pasted anywhere text as editable.

  This leads me to believe that it is a problem centered on Illustrator I have experience.

  

  I click in the body of an email and paste. Seems fine, but when I try to click in the text (for example, between the words 'in' and 'Mail') I can't do.

  

  The line of words is highlighted and not editable.

  

  If I click with the right button on the image of the text line and select "Open the attachment" you can see the Clipboard pasted as uneditable text and .pdf.

  

  Interestingly, if I open a new note and try to paste the line of text, it sticks as a .pdf file but just the icon appear. Double clicking on the icon will open the text in PDF in acrobat.

  I don't have this problem until the CC2014 updates were made. I would like to know if there is something that can be done, or is this a bug in Illustrator. If it's a bug I don't want to spend time looking for workarounds. I will use another program when I know there's a lot of work to copy / paste to do. It's embarrassing for my Illustrator old files that have now issue when I open them in CC2014.

  I know that I can use the "paste and match style" but it's a force of habit to use the shortcut for paste. It is also a ridiculous change of Illustrator for the cut/paste to act that way. If indeed it was planned and not a bug, what would be the advantage?

  If someone saw the problem that I am eager to know what is happening.

  Finally, if there is no other way to solve this problem then can anyone remind me how to customize the combinations of shortcut keys in Mail, Notes, and TextEdit? I seem to remember (long ago) being able to customize certain shortcuts in some applications, but I've never done in something else that Adobe applications and even then it was CS5.

  Hello, I finally found away around this really annoying "bug" / "Headache" If you select the text (NOT with the text with the cursor tool) then right click and select "export selection" ( http://i.imgur.com/gM0hIPR.png ) and export it to SVG ( http://i.imgur.com/QaWiOYl.png ) and then open what you export in your browser (Internet explorer, chrome ect) and you can copy the text from there ( http://i.imgur.com/YJuE8JX.png ). I was very disappointed because even to try to copy it from Adobe Illustrator into Adobe Muse all right programs would freeze and close so I think he calls a 'suite' when you can not just simply copy and paste text from one to another is a bit of a cheek. Anyway hope this helped someone out there in the world

  How copy and paste a chart into Illustrator CC to Powerpoint?

  I know that sounds easy, and it should be... I used to be able to do this in the usual way (ctrl + c in Illustrator, ctrl + v in Powerpoint), but now, the result is just a load of code in Powerpoint and no image. Any ideas? (other than export as png etc..)

  I'm on the latest CC Illustrator, Powerpoint 2011 for Mac, Mac OS 10.9.1

  The outlines of the blue block appear when I copy my simple vector illustration and paste it into InDesign. I tried to, but I'm losing a lot of detail. How can I get rid of the frames?

  You see the edges when you deselect the option? It seems that yoou see the bounding box, which will be for each object.

  And you don't lose detail when plaicng an file, even if your preiew cannot show it. are you affect the performance of high quality display? the default setting is typical, which is a proxy low resolution.

  The aspect ratio has nothing to do with it.

  You simply work at 72 dpi, and it seems that you have turned off anti-aliasing when you placed the vector illustrations.

• copy an Illustrator Adobe or a .pdf logo in my outlook signature

  I would insert the logo of our company at the end of my signature info in my email in outlook.  When I go to options and mail and signature and select edit it will not allow to cut me and paste my logo in.  My logo is in adobe illustrator with an .ai extension or I also recorded it in a .pdf file

  Any suggestions?  Cut and paste does not work.

  Save it as a jpg file and then it should work.

  You can still use the subscription of the CC to change the CS6 files and after changing you down-save their return to CS6.

• Copy and paste from illustrator to photoshop

  Hello.

  You used to be able to slect tricks in photoshop and copy illustrator, create new from the Clipboard and create a document at a resolution that never, over the largest wreck was the image.

  Now when you do this the image are set to 72 dpi by default, and nothing do you solves this problem for copy/paste is ultra low resolution.

  Is there any solution for this?

  I found a solution.  In each version before the CC versions, you can copy an Illustration of Illustrator (Ctrl + C) for Photoshop (Ctrl + N, Ctrl-V, input) with a nearly lossless image quality.  Since CC came, it no longer works.  The quality of the image in Photoshop is really unacceptable.

  Today, I figured out how to get things to normal.  There are just a few simple steps.

  In Photoshop CC (and this step may or may not be necessary for you) Edit > Preferences > units & rulers, change new Document Preset resolutions, screen resolution of 300 Pixels/inch.  This makes the new default value of documents at 300 dpi.

  Then (and I think that the most important) when you create your new file to paste your Illustrator file in, (for example, Ctrl + N), change the Type of Document in the drop-down list of the Clipboard to the default size of Photoshop.  In my case, who reads the 7 x 5 inches and 300 dpi.  You need to establish your new size of smaller or larger image for all to adapt, but, you will get a really strong and clear image quality when you paste your Illustrator file into the new document.

  I have a problem with my CC 2015 of fontlab studio 5 Crossover illustrator - I have a policy of design completely vectorized and I have adjusted completely two platforms for the right size, but when I paste illustrator police into fontlab, my fonts custom loses its thickness in some areas and loses filled circles. How can I copy from illustrator to fontlab without losing all of the traits, so that it is exactly how it was in illustrator? EPS & Bitmap does not, either.

  Otherwise, anyone know one easier way (other software) to make a design fully vectorized in illustrator, a .ttf font?

  I thought about it - once you have developed, United and pasted into fontlab, select the entire shape and show--> contour filling layers.

  The event system is not available, in more recent versions, I use "PlugPlugExternalObject":
