  I am running hearing CS6 on my iMac 27 "3.4 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i7 with 16 GB of RAM, again with OS X 10.8.2 Mountain Lion.   You use the Outlook application, or are you just using the mail application native iOS. When you say your iCloud via Outlook contacts, you say that you can not access iCloud on the phone contacts via Outlook application, or do you mean that you can not access iCloud contacts via Outlook on the computer? • Merge with Hub Microsoft contacts Skype contacts!

  For the love of God, why Microsoft bought Skype if you are not able to work together to provide a common working contacts list?

  I use Skype on Windows (main PC), modern Windows (Tablet) and Windows Phone (Lumia) with a joint account of Microsoft. I take advantage of the integration of the people Hub.

• Lost contacts! Help!

  Here's the situation.

  I have a new Macbook. My old man is not available, but I save it before sending it for repair (which they lost).

  I did NOT use time machine to restore to this news.  There are reasons I don't want to, but if I MUST, to get my contacts, I'll do it.

  I was tired of seeing all the double & triple on my contacts.  I went to help and follow-up the "merge contacts"... I misread it and chose each of my contacts and you click on merge.  HOLY CRAP BATMAN... IT IS STUPID!  So, as a result... All phone numbers are listed under "Apple."

  Before I do the damage... Help!

  Some additional information:
  My apple ID is different from my gmail account.
  My iCloud phone is connected to my apple ID

  My phone that Gmail is connected to the Gmail account I use.

  My macbook is connected to the I use a Gmail account.

  If I go to contacts on my MacBook, they are all together under "Apple."

  If I go to contacts on my phone or online Gmail, that some of my contacts are there.

  While contacts were"merge"it got stuck and I had to force her to leave... so there is no "UNDO".

  Can someone help me?  Is it possible that I can get my contacts back not to mention that to use the time machine backup? I have my old phone that has all my contacts on it. Can I use that somehow?

  In fact, I think that using Time Machine IS the way to go - do not by catering to everything but by restoring your contacts.

  Maybe you are not aware of the flexibility Time Machine has...

  It should be as simple as this:

  (1) open the Contacts application, then select "All Contacts".

  2) click the Time Machine icon in the menu bar and choose "enter Time Machine."

  3) navigate to a point before you have merged all contacts. Click on restore.

• Profiles for contacts

  Maybe I'm blind just for now, but I can't seem to figure out how to display my contacts profiles. For example, if one of them has a long status message, to get a glimpse of their profile and display the message of State together. I hope that this feature has not been removed in the new Skype...

  I have a brand new Volkswagen Golf. I have an iPhone with the latest iOS, 9.1.2 5s. When I select the phone CarPlay on-screen icon, Siri asks who apply. It works very well. BUT, I can't scroll through the list of contacts, or dial a new number. If I connect via Bluetooth, all contacts are displayed.

  I have no experience with CarPlay, but I'd be more that happy to help us hopefully get this figured out together! To start, if I'm right, you don't want to not see your contacts on the screen of your vehicle. The only problem is that your contacts are displayed only when the iPhone connects to the car via bluetooth.

  I may be wrong but my best guess would be that the car can probably not have undertaken 'media' so it cannot store your contacts, which may explain why you are not able to see your contacts unless you connect to car with bluetooth. From what I've seen on the web so, if your car is fitted with a plug iPhone, you can try to connect your device to the card inside this car and CarPlay automatically recognize it. Once CarPlay recognizes the device, see if you can access your contacts. If you can, then the next time you can just leave your iOS device, plugged and I can't use bluetooth.
