• SmartView 'Calc All' corrupted script Essbase database

  I'm not sure that anyone has any experience of this incident before. We have end-users with the SmartView Excel of Hyperion Planning installed plugin. By default, there is an option of script that end users can click on the ' Calc all "to run.
  
  In one incident, the user pointed out such a script to run on backend Essbase database 'Calc All'. As the work batch is quite laborious, we stop the lot via the Regional service console. But after the batch is stopped, we found that any level 0 data source disappeared - total lost! We tried to find a way to recover but without success. Finally, we need restore the full backup.
  
  We checked with our Oracle consultant locally and they mentioned that, to stop a batch to the service console Regional is the right way to do it. It should not corrupt the database.
  
  In any case please avoid accidental command running that script you use SmartView and Essbase. You should not prevent the lot via the Regional service console.

  I don't know why an Essbase Calc default caused your data away, or why you couldn't stop him.

  The problem with the planners of planning is to have this Essbase calc access. Why? A mystery.

  An easy way to make sure a default Calc is not make havoc is to edit the Calc by default in the EAS do a right-click on the database by choosing together-> default Calc and removing the ALL CALC; It is here and in just a '; '. (without the quotes). This will validate yet but does nothing.

  I have the following problem with the script editor.  I have a script that goes through a spreadsheet Numbers cell-by-cell and examines the background color for each cell.  If the background color is yellow it it turns green.  I couldn't get this script to work therefore inserted a Display Dialog statement in the loop to show what background color has been found.  After seeing the color of a few cells, I hit the button cancel from the dialog box display.  After that I can not open the script editor - it starts but then displays the spinning beachball and it's there.  Force quit the script editor does not solve the problem nor did restart my Mac.  I noticed that there was an update waiting for OS X El Capitan, I have so installed.  Strangely, after the script editor open, and I was able to run the script, but after cancelling the dialog box display I'm stuck now even once - script editor crashes on opening - I still think trying to open my script.  How can I get around this?

  I am running OS X El Capitan, version 10.11.6 MacBook Pro (retina, 13 inches, end 2013) 8 GB of memory

  Not sure if it's the same problem I had, but.

  Script editor cannot open my corrupted script starts. Found that used cache of documents starting recently open in system preferences. After the alias of the file, it found the same corrupted file to try to open every time I moved or renamed!

  My solution was to duplicate the file and remove the problem file.

  I am creating this table which will automatically fill in the description of the object and get the price after you enter the item code in the fist column. I used the 'purchase model' samples to achieve this. The way they did was create array variable and then pulling the data. It works fine with me, but the question is when I try to write my "2500" lines of code. In my view, there is a restriction on the total lines allowed. I've pasted below a copy of the code that I use. I have not changed anything in the design, with the exception of the number of items (the code below works fine)

  Just a quick note about your script, it fails because it is not valid javascript. In one of the tables, you have the following errors

  ...

  "Hairpin multifaceted 'R' safety."

  ...

  #NAME?

  ...

  Here is the syntax invalid js. What causes the entire to be corrupted script block and function is not found

  Note to use nested quotes ("")

  Once those have been fixed your code works correctly. Use the check Syntax button to highlight the problems of js.

  If by "corrupt" you mean that essbase breaks down and you can't restart the db so yes it's unusual and something is wrong with the environment. However, if you mean that the data is not the same as it was before you start the script, then no, there is nothing wrong. Essbase is not a restoration have this cancellation, the calc script processed until you killed it.

  recently I moved all of my itunes library to my new computer (Mac-> Windows), I noticed that some songs bad location path, and I discovered that the songs with special characters (like aeioun, Yes, I'm Spanish) are those who have suffered from this problem.

  ITunes can't find the songs automatically, said that almost the 2000 song are not and nothing else.

  I'm used to manage xml and looked up in the itunes library xml file and to know that these songs with special characters did not alter his path to the new properly, they keep the way old-macintosh, something like "http://localhost \volumes\macintosh\music\blablabla\".

  The thing is, I tried out solved with samsoft script, but the suggested path does not match my only current.   In my xml library I set paths, but when I tried to rebuild the itl file, missing tons of songs and I got crazy once more.

  I think about modifying the script samsoft to correspond with my custom path, but I am a junior Javascript coder, and I have no idea how this VBS script works.

  I have no idea why will not restore my favorites.   Have windows XP sp3 and latest firefox, did install no script but cannot install any other addon. Error - Cannot install, not able to edit the necessary files. This allows Java, allowing other addons does not help.
  Unable to create a new profile that the procedures given do not work.
  Allowing all global scripts does not help.

• I've rolled back to firefox v3.6.19 v5 does not support "no script", "download status bar" or "forecastfox", or at least, I was unable to make them work. V5 is no good IMO.

  For the second time in as many months, I had to go back to version 3.6.19 as the new firefox (versions 4 or 5) could not use "no script", 'forecastfox' or 'download status bar '. I hope that mozilla will continue to support the v3.6.19 until my issues have been resolved. Also the after one or two clicks on one of the above extensions on the add-on bar/page v5 caused to hang.
