• Open MDF files in Diadem generated with vector couch v7.0?

  Hi all

  I have a sofa v7.0 vector data acquisition system that generates files in MDF format.  I found the Diadem data plugin for MDF files and installed.  I can open the files, I see the names of parameters, but all data is 0 (and do not).

  The plugin is updated and the description mentions MDF version 3.0 & 3.2.  We have couch version 7.0.  How do these numbers match?  How to correctly open this file?

  Description of the plugin:

  This use is supported for playback / import of files MDF Bosch of ETAS INCA® MDF and Vector sofa® data and other products of the vector. The use is supported by the MDF files up to version 3.2. Use MDF also supports the writing of MDF 3.0 and 3.2 files. Writing behavior is controlled by the root "version" property set the version of "MDF 3.2" to write files MDF 3.2.

  The measurement data Format (MDF) is well established in the automotive industry for recording, Exchange and analysis after measurement. MDF files are produced for example. Inca® ETAS, then in sofa® and other products of the vector.

  Further examination of the file that worked and the files that don't work not revealed that the latest settings that we use is no longer.  Once we have removed these settings, I can open all the files, if we believe that it is the question.

• How can I create a lighter and darker version of "Pantone purple non-couche, U ' keep printing costs down?

  I need to have a printed business card and I have am unaware of the printing process. The plan includes black and three different purple. In order to maintain low cost printing I need to reassign all objects of the same color PANTONE in Illustrator.  If I had to use Pantone Violet non-couche, U, how do I create a lighter and darker version based on this shade?  Again, the result should be two color printing (black and purple and not black and three purple ones).

  You can check if your colors are defined as only two inks by pulling the top of the separations palette, before turning black and purple. If it's done properly, nothing do not show on the other channels.

• I dropped my Macbook pro (13-inch) year 15

• Does not detect the hdmi cable more (very specific scenario)

  Well then...

  Got a monitor 15-HD to hdmi cable and a mac laptop (13 in the retina).

  So when I got all that I put it all together and it worked. I left because there a little bit, everything is plugged in and did not return for some time, so my mac fell asleep at the time wherever I went. Disconnected everything to relax on the couch. I went back and all plugged together again except that now the mac does not detect the cable. Tried a bunch of things with it. Restart, unplug the unit, detection manually, etc...

  Since the monitor is used and recently purchased cable, I thought time to them to test first. Got a laptop PC and plugged into the cable. The monitor and cable worked.

  Tried to connect my mac to the TV with my ps4′s hdmi since I did that a lot before. Also works.

  The problem is literally the combination between the cable and the mac. Which is a problem since I got the reason was to serve as my mac.

  During my research, I saw that specifically leaving the connected hdmi where sleeps your laptop can spoil it supposed to be... I saw it one time so idk if it's true, but it happened to me... and no, it wasn't really a solution when I came across that. Tried Googling this specific problem, but did not meet anything since my problem seems so specific.

  Fast forward to the next day and tried again now that both had little respite between them. Plugged into the HDMI and my laptop starts fading and return to a black screen. The screen would go black usually and so the laptop screen and the monitor would appear once again. sauf_que this time that there not, he just kept it and the monitor has not changed (Yes) it's). Not wanting to let him do that too long I unplugged and tried a different port with an adapter, I have also, since I did 3 holes I could use this for might as well try them all again. But unfortunately, I don't have it trigger anything again. So I went through another round of troubleshooting to try to make it work, but here I am, trying to see if anyone else has had this problem and solved. I am back to wait another day I guess and just hope. If not idk what to do, except maybe to get another cable? I don't know if this would solve it well.

• Big screen for the new Mac Pro

  Looking to buy a new Mac Pro.  I like to work while sitting on the couch with my feet supported, but a laptop is not very good for usability, and my neck has had enough.  So, I think trying to upgrade a number of things and to combine the entertainment center with work stations, so I can do both comfortably from my couch.  Ideally I would love it if Apple made a gigantic Retina display, but as they do not have, my current theory includes a 48 "-52" class 4 K HDTV connected to a surround sound via HDMI system, which hangs in turn a blu - Ray player and a Mac Pro via HDMI.

  If someone has done something similar?  I'm assuming that, unlike the old flat screen TV model at work sometimes I mirror my iPad on, a 4 K Pixelize text.  Is this correct?  Or should I still the same problem?  As far as the projectors are a pain, which is the only really good solution here?  Any other question, I would need to know that displays the parameters or incompatibilities if I went with the 4 K HDTV?

  May be useful to take a look at http://www.macrumors.com/guide/4k-5k-displays-buyers-guide-mac/ which covers the 4 K screen with Apple hardware support pretty well.

  You will encounter one of the limits is the HDMI output on the current Mac Pro supports only 4K at 30 Hz not full 60 Hz, which we are used to on most screens. You can watch a form of Thunderbolt to the HDMI connection for display to work properly at 60 Hz.
