  First of all, I suggest you that you also scan your laptop for infection by the virus. Second, reset TCP/IP stack Winsock settings.   We are working on Hyperion 11.1.2.1. We have configured our MSAD for logon authentication. Strangely, few of our AD users can able to connect to the workspace (of course they can see and access anything be it inside) do not have access to all of the Hyperion products. They are not part of a group or that you have not any provision for access. My question is: is every user able to connect in the workspace, AD even if they are not provided?

  I had a similar problem (it quite some time but may not be the answer!). It's to do with the browser cache.

  To fix it I deleted the cache, /apex and bookmark navigated. Then I navigated to the apex/apex_admin and bookmark that. After that, I have more the problem. Don't know if this will help you, let know us.

  Method 1 step number d makes reference to the present Details tab on the event viewer, where you can get the details of the error. First, search for the error which will be something like Windows cannot process extension Client Strategy Group-side and click on the error and then click the Details tab and make a note of the GUID (Globally Unique Identifier) for the extension defective client-side.   So I know there is a lot of info on how to solve this problem, but it CONTINUES to SE. As I'll fix it then after that I closed once or twice going to do EXACTLY the same thing, it gives you the screen with Windows can't connect to the Group Policy Client service. I have windows Pro 8.1 and I never had this problem before. If you guys know how permanently repair this them please say so. I don't like going back trying to set every time.   From now on, I recommend you to go through the following methods:

  Method 1:

   

  I suggest you perform the SFC scan and check if that helps. The sfc/scannow command analyzes all protected system files and replaces incorrect versions with appropriate Microsoft versions.

  Note: System File Checker is a Windows utility that allows users to find corruptions in Windows system files and restore the damaged files.

  After the SFC scan, run Windows Update.

  Method 2:

  Make sure that all Windows updates are installed on your computer as the issue may occur because of some missing updates for Windows components.

  Please follow the steps to install the available Windows updates.

  1. Press Windows + C, type Windows Update in the start search box, and then click Windows Update in the results pane.
  2. Click find updates. When the scan finished, click optional review updates.
  3. Click the check box next to the update, and then click install updates.
  4. If you are prompted, read the license agreement, then click I agree.
  5. Follow the instructions on the screen to download and install updates. If you are prompted, restart your computer.

  If the problem persists, please answer us with the details of the issue and messages.

  I watched the rest of the tables of Shared Services and could not find the 'username' of the accounts stored in the external directory. Everything I could find are users AD matching GUID. eg. msad://OBJECTGUID= \f7\70\aa\c1\fb\0f\61\4e\95\b9\e5\f8\1e\8b\23\43? USER

  Is there an easier way to get a list of users provisioned within the Hyperion?

  As a solution, I have manually draw the details of users using LCM. is there a way I could automate this?
